Thanks so much for this tip!
For years now I have had this problem and never understood why, I was beginning to think my records were mastered at the wrong speed.
    This solves everything!

Isn't it amazing that things that everyone used to just know today requires a youtube video?

I see 4 bands but 2 options (33 and 45). How do I know which of the 4 bands I need to focus on when adjusting for either of the two speeds? I see you say the bottom bands are for 33 but which one of the bottom bands needs to be adjusted to "still" in order to achieve proper speed?

I could spend an endless amount of hours moving the wheel around the lights wont ever stay put, always moving, am I doing something wrong or should I send my technics SL-D3 in for a repair??? So frustrating

This is impossible. It's a calculus problem, the intermediate value theorem. If you turn it one way and the lights are moving one direction, and you turn the wheel and then they're moving the other direction, there has to be a point between where they aren't moving. Continuity of real numbers.

@@WorldwideAlenkProductions The AT-LP60USB does allow you to adjust the speed, but in an incredibly fiddly and difficult way that involves turning the turntable upside down and adjusting the little screws on the underside of the machine. (I think it might be explained in the manual, but I can't remember.) Frankly, it's easier to just live with a slightly incorrect speed.
