It's 5:30 am and I'm sitting here with tears in my eyes. My mom used to call me Delta Dawn and sing me this song. Used to make me so mad. Dating and relationships were always hard for me and I ended up moving in and taking care of my dad for a significant part of twenties and thirties. I had embraced spinsterhood. But I really think my mom sang the song to me to encourage me to not give up on finding love and I did eventually. I met the man that would become my husband about six months before my mom died, she didn't live to see us married or to meet her granddaughter but my dad did. He was very ill but he was able to walk me down the aisle and got to hold my daughter before he passed. I am convinced that he stayed until he knew that I was not going to be alone in this world. I was no longer their Delta Dawn but,Lisa Dawn. You never know what songs people will have a deep emotional connection to. Thank you for this. It made me feel like my parents were smiling down at me for a few minutes.

@@parkerwilton8827 I'm fine. Thank you for asking. How are you and your family?
@@connietaylor1311 you’re welcome. I’m doing good. If you don’t mind me asking where are you located!
@@connietaylor1311 hello 👋
Those eyes!!!!
Beautiful harmonies. I see why y'all did this with Brooke. Her voice is powerful enough to not be overpowered and still remain beautifully sweet sounding with a country twang...perfect for this song. Love it!
What about this: Outrunnin' Your Memory by Luke Combs with Miranda Lambert, we want Adam Chance to take main lead, will used his control distortion with rustic ( just right) mixed of some lower and mostly higher register, as Miranda Lambert ( collaborate with Brooke Eden) will used playing with her vocal folds and her vocal passages with much robust attitude with mixed of some lower and higher register, high harmony by: Austin Brown, Rob Lundquit, Tim Foust will used chest and chest fry for the bassline.
Well done. Made Tanya proud.
This just added sunshine on my gray rainy day! Every one of you look sharp but just gotta say Austin rocks a poncho like no one since Clint Eastwood!
Hello Dorothy how are you doing hope you’re doing great with your family.
And Tim, you are stunning in all black!❤
