Either way, the best version of this game is for dreamcast and ps1. And by the way, the ps1 is probably the only one that has the best audio as it was not compressed as the ports later were. The ps2 version , is actually a 240p game.

Since the background is just pre-rendered, there isn't any major differences in both. Ps5 version just a little darker.

I like the Duckstation emulation better, but still the best version is the PC one.

I just tested the PS2 version (emulated via PCSX2) and omg how BAD the controls are, you need to control the character with the fucking D pad (which on the left) and control the flashlight with the left stick, how the devilry is that ? Who made this absurd decision, on top of that, I've got some freezes between scenes when you're changing plans, the same kind of issues of traditional RE...
But the controls are the worst, so I wonder ? Are the PS / Dreamcast / PC versions the same ?

On ps4/Ps5 version, in a "hide" menu pressing start button, you can remap buttons and control the character with the joystick.

not everyone has a ps3 to play ps1 games on
