This made me think of restarting my channel because literally, I just got my subscribers from a SINGLE video I made, not from majority of all the videos I've made.
I'm still struggling as well on how to gain more audience, as I've noticed that my views are not that high from some of my recent uploads.
That doesn’t sound like a bad idea as UA-cam doesn’t like dead subs and the people that came from that video don’t seem to be watching any new ones. I would still make an update video on your current channel before you delete it so people can go sub to your new one. Good luck man and thanks for the thoughtful comment 👍🏻
It's been like that with me, I usually get a decent about of views per video, my average is about maybe 30 views, some get more, others get less. I recently uploaded an unboxing video and it already has over 400 views in 24 hours. I need to find a way to get more views on my Minecraft videos, my most viewed Minecraft video has over 300 views, but that's over 2 years. Some of my recent ones have been doing alright though.

The step where you said, "if you take a break tell them" I made that mistake and I didn't say anything, I averaged around 50-60 views a video (still not a lot but still) and in that time period i lost subscribers and views. I deleted most of my videos and im starting fresh because of this.

Sorry if this was confusing XD. What I'm trying to say is stay with the trend but be original in how you make your content as in personality, editing style and any twists you want to put on the idea. The best way to find success is to follow trends while still being unique.

Could you do a follow up that goes over the general practices while making a let's play? I mean how people engage the audience, use different camera angles, crouch to look at the camera, move around and rotate the camera, etc. NOT a tutorial n how to use replay mod (for example.) But the general recording practices in-game for tutorials and let's play. How Minecraft videos are directed I guess. If you know of any videos like that, could you point me to them?

when I stream the highest-resolution I can go without my internet failing me is 360p high there's no 480p and every time I try to do 720P it pixelates so I'm like this 360p is the highest I can go without my internet failing me so I try to fill in that Gap by talking to my viewers while I'm building. I'm a survival Builder my builds take time and I build in peaceful so I can focus on the challenge of building big. I relish the challenge of gathering the resources to build the most detailed buildings I can possibly build on a budget

If you are planning to make a video and are nervous because you are introverted(like me) Try leaving face cam out of it. That being said I have yet to record a video that I’ve published. It will take time
start out your channel with tutorials for youtube, like uh best editing software, best recording software an stuff

It definitely helps. If you don’t talk the viewer feels no connection to you and will be less likely to keep watching. I’m not saying it’s impossible it just depends on the content

Good tips Evan! Another great tip I would give people is to watch your own videos in the editing software because if you ever get bored at any point in the video, you might want to do something to bring the viewers back in.
