- In this video I am giving some tips on how to start a new minecraft world, from surviving your first night, to building your starter home, finding diamonds, and gathering food and resources! I hope this helps you enjoy your early game!! Remember there isn't a wrong way to play the game, your dirt hut is beautiful.

For me it’s not the actual building that’s the struggle, it’s choosing a style to use throughout my world.
you could do a style to begin with and then once you build up that area go to another place and do a completely dfferent style

I build till I get bored of the designs. Make a Portal and go a fair distance in the Nether and make another Portal. It's almost like an entire new Seed. Then joint them with Mine tracks and rinse and repeat.

I found this more helpful than I thought I would.
Some things like the not killing animals at spawn I totally overlooked.
I don't totally agree with not killing animals at spawn. Animals will keep spawning so don't worry about killing a couple to get some food, then make a farm

i do the same , the only difference is after finding diamonds i make a new diamond pick and also a new minecraft world XD
This video was actually very helpful. I’ve had Minecraft for several years, and I’ve played quite a bit of it over time, but I’ve always stuck to multiplayer servers like Hypixel and the Hive. I rarely play survival, but I’m starting to dip my toes into it. This has motivated me to continue my new survival world with my three kitties and a shitty base. I love chill Minecraft, and I don’t care much about beating the ended dragon, or getting diamond armor, I just want a nice little world. Thank you, this means quite a bit to me!

tip i learned: you don’t need to jump into the deep end right away. i’m still very afraid of mobs so i like to play in peaceful and thats okay. you get the thrill and pride of playing in survival without doing something that makes you uncomfortable. :)
@JV _ SAME! I don’t mind having mobs while I’m perusing the world, but when I’m exploring caves I don’t want to have a heart attack lol
Yes! I play peaceful mode as well, because I am afraid of hostile mobs, thus I panic and fail to kill them. I am much happier playing in peaceful, where I have no worries about hostile mobs :)
What about bows and fireworks?
I play on normal mode and I stay awake most of the nights, killing hostile mobs is calming to me, plus you get a lot of mob drops :)
I play on peaceful when I explore caves, if it’s hard core I try to avoid caves and strip mine cuz the mobs in caves makes me anxious unless if I’m getting coal

Dang I never realized how much I've made myself overwhelmed or stressed on things before this video in minecraft. Thanks for letting me realize that. I knew there was something that I kind of hated about Minecraft. It was just me being stressfully to myself
I have been doing the same thing, I would spend hours on Minecraft stressing over making the perfect world to the point where I couldn’t even enjoy the world anymore and it was boring. I just started a new world and hopefully I can turn myself around with it.
It's easy to stress yourself out while playing. Even just taking a moment to watch a fish swim in a pond you made, or talking to your pets can really help destress.

I highly suggest when going through seeds that u go in creative first and fly around in ur world. That way ur can see what world ur working with and can get an idea of where u want to build things ☺️
But if you go in creative mode then turn survival you wouldn't be able to get achievements

Fun fact : If you make 2 worlds and put in the same seed, It will still load the same.

@@LightYagamiK I mean you could like make a random world, copy it, turn the other one to creative and explore a bit, delete the creative world after yuh done & continue to play on the other same world on survival.
(Idk if you can copy a world on java and bedrock but anywayss, it's my version :D)

could you please make a video on how not to get bored of the game? i feel like the moment i get some diamond tools and armor and i’ve built a couple of things i get super bored and start a new world. and if i don’t play with keep inventory then im too scaredy and never do anything

One good way to not get bored is to create a story with your world. The other way is to get into speculation about minecraft lore through watching retrogaming or game theory here on youtube. 😀
You could try playing risky, because its probably why you don't like minecraft after the diamond grind. Most people play hardcore because it feels a lot more rewarding, maybe you are just missing the sense of reward with keep inventory on
Try to build mega project that take some time to build or do some objective like killing wither with only fist etc
To help with the scaredy part, (I'm like this too) make consistent copies of your world, especially if it's really dangerous like killing the dragon. that way, if you die, you can to back in time to where that never happened. If that fails, you always have peaceful mode!

Hey, I just wanna say thanks. I've been playing for years now, and I find myself just plopping a furnace and crafting table down, get iron, then strip mine for diamonds. I then come out with full diamond, but it just feels boring and with no purpose. I've tried taking this approach, And I really enjoyed it. I stayed on iron tier for a while, built a farm, and made a house that actually didn't look that bad, which is a first for me. I took the game slower from there, and I had I lot of fun.

tip: when looking for a great place to live in, look for somewhere you’ve never been in. i’ve never finished a survival world and for the first time ever, i started on a island and finished for the first time on it!
I literally rush to get full iron and then lots of other ores even coal because I just get unmotivated already in the first few days or even on my first day then delete create new world repeat lol
i have killed the endwrdragon but while looking for an elytra literally i fell into the void with my full netherite armor

pro tip, once you’re done using your wooden pick you can use it as fuel in your furnace. I learned this not too long ago and it’s a game changer :D

@Tatiana Rueda I think you back it up from the .minecraft folder (for Java), just copy the world folder and keep it somewhere safe, you need to keep updating the backup file though, and when you need it, remove the already existing file from the main location and paste your backed up file :)

3:29 There is the rarest biome type in distance, modifed jungle edge. It only generates between jungle and swamp.
The seed thing is definitely helpful, cuz it’s impossible to find other biomes in my world and I’ve traveled over 10,000 blocks looking for a sea temple in my world cuz I wanted to make it look like Atlantas underwater but no temple :( this vid is super helpful thanks Gem!!!!
Hey, maybe consider using a biome finder that also show the monuments ;)

For me whenever I get bored I go mob hunting 😃
It's super fun, and the mob loot can be really good. Once I killed a stray and it gave me an enchanted bow and arrow of slowness! It was basically broken, so I went out on a spider adventure to get string. Then I repaired it, now it's good as new!
I absolutely love building cozy wooden houses and the details always makes a world look amazing even if they are small😊

@@baya1459 If you struggle trying to find basic materials like iron and coal, here's a tip. Try finding a cave and whatever cave it is, I'm sure there is always some coal, if there is none, try to mine some more I'm sure there will be, if you struggle to find iron even in some caves I reccomend traveling some more into different biomes and try digging down (staircase wise) while staircasing down I'm sure you'll find some iron. If you still can't find iron, try finding iron below sea level, or in the sea itself.

I love how your very passive. Me: do /execute for a bunch of stuff, build a 1 by 3 and load the walls with essentials, and kill everything I see.

Pro tip: when you strip mine count 4 block then go on each side and destroy 5 blocks so then you can see more blocks and get more blocks.

I think another you can stay motivated to play even after the dragon fight and end city is to try to complete all the achievements, some of them are complicated but it gives the game more purpose

Great tips. I enjoy the early game more then anything. Building a starter home, gathering resources and exploring. In my latest start over I've found a shipwreck embedded halfway up an iceberg. In my previous world a cave so big it had fog in the distance, giving the lava flows an eery luminance in the far distance.
I used to think abandoning my worlds was bad. I think I've only bothered the Enderdragon once or twice, till I realised with Minecraft, there is no wrong way to play. It's a massive sandbox and anything is the right thing to do if it is enjoyable, or leads to an enjoyable experience.
I’d honestly been struggling with enjoying minecraft simply because I despise mining so much. It’s silly, but after years of forcing myself to mine with mobs, I honestly just change it to peaceful to mine. I just had to remind myself that first and foremost, the game is about having fun!! It’s not about playing it the “right” way! Now I have so much fun exploring and making beautiful builds!

i have been doing a nether style house, and an entire base that is (mostly) made of stuff in the nether like from the warped forests and crimson forests, and it is a really great style to make your base look like if you dont have any ideas (im only commenting this because ive been seeing comments that they dont know what style to choose when it comes to building, and i found this really fun)

Tysm! Because of this video, I made a jungle home, found 2 villages, a jungle temple, a broken nether portal, AND a pillager tower thingy. The best part is that all of this was done in an hour and thirty minutes! Thank you SO much! I was not a huge fan of minecraft, but now I am :)

4:18 i dont understand coordinates so i sleep And make the respawn point Get some redstone and make a compass in the nether I get extra Obsidian if i lose the portal i make new one And when i spawn in random biome I dont sleep i just follow My compass lol 😂😂
