My baby grow with all your yummy recipes. 😘. Now is 5years old and is so hard cos he don’t want to eat all most anything😔 Do you have recipes for 5years+ ?? Or i can start again doing all your recipes whitout making it pure.. Thank you. I love your recipes
Hi! Don't worry, you are not alone!! Picky eating is not only among toddlers :-) My kids are now 6 and 8 and the older one is the picky. He still is!! That's why I created BuonaPappa, lol. On my Instagram account I share my daily cooking for my family. My philosophy is one family = one meal. I do not prepare a la carte menu for the kids, we all eat the same. Check it out and see if you find some recipes you kid might like. instagram.com/buonapappa/
I tried it today and my 9months old loved it, thanks for sharing yummy recipes. I also tried your quinoa recipe and it turned out great, I want to know can I give quinoa porridge 2 times to my baby in a single day? Is there any side effects if eaten too much?
I'm so happy i found you!! Best baby recipes ever! I actually cook for the family and just blender 200 ml for the baby to eat with us... huge hug from Chile :)
Hi Maria!!! that's the best way to do!!! I'm totally for the philosophy to cook one meal for the whole family and use the same ingredients to prepare your baby food. Thank you for watching BuonaPappa!!!! b
I love lentils and you just inspired me, I think I'll make lentil soup today. The way you cook for your family it really shows the love and care. Thank you Barbara.
Hi! i do not see an issue giving the lentil puree to your baby for lunch and dinner. I just like offering different foods at every meal to keep a balanced diet. My suggestion is to either freeze the lentil puree leftovers in small one meal portions so that you will be able to thaw them when needed. You can keep them in the freezer for up to 4 months. Or you can store the leftovers in an air tight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Ciao! b
Hello! 11 months is still very young. Some babies transition to more structured food even later. I would not worry and I would keep trying offering him some finger foods (crackers/tiny pieces of fruit/cheese bites..) as a snack or separately from the puree to let him learn how to chew. Still, if you don't see any improvement or if you are concerned about your baby/toddler proper growth, my suggestion is to consult your pediatrician for further examinations. I hope I was helpful! ciao, b
The same thing happens to my daughter baby..she is now..16 month's and not yet eat except smooth thing.. Because she had problems when she was baby...and she us continuing in medical.advance...so I need food for her age same time. For her health.thanks
Hi there, is Parmesan cheese safe for babies that are 9 months old? I heard we are not supposed to introduce cow milk until they are 1 yo but cheese is made from cow’s milk. I’m worry it may cause allergy.
I love your videos! You are so creative and I really appreciate the baby meal ideas even though I don't have babies :P Also your recipes so light and full of real italian flavours make me always feel at home
Hi Saba, I'm sorry to hear that, you sound concerned. What's your baby's diet right now? Still breastmilk /baby formula only or he eats some solid food?
Hi Sabrina, that's a nice thought. I always have babies in mind, but there are adults that need a baby style diet for so many reasons. Thank you for pointing it out! ciao, b
Hi! I buy Imported Parmesan Cheese from Italy from www.parmigiano-reggiano.it I like the 24 months aged one, less lactose amount in it. And my favorite variety is "Bruna", the cheese comes form the milk of a particular kind of cow called Bruna :-) yes, I'm picky about my Parmesan!! ciao, b
so nice n look so. yummy..when i wil become mumr i wil give my baby all the delicious receipt from Buona pappa.so that she/he wil become a healthy baby..Thank you so much
Abd ullah Hi! Moderation is the key. Just a pinch of salt will be enough, and Himalayan pink salt is a good one. I also use Sicilian one as it's made in italy, more local 😉
Hi! sure, baby recipes are my specialty ;-) you can either check this playlist: ua-cam.com/play/PL9B6ikaZmAO-l58KQEm3UMqRhnBPgvdvP.html or go on my blog www.buonapappa.net in the baby food section: www.buonapappa.net/baby-food/ ciao!!! b
I watch your videos and have tried the recipes too... it tastes good. You can add little rice to this and puree the mixture... i do so for my baby, she loves it.
+Muhammad Makki Hi! Sure, you can use chicken broth instead. I suggest to use an homemade one, so that you can be sure than no salt has been added. If it is not possible try to buy an organic one with the less amount of sodium. Let me know if your little one likes the soup!! ciao, b
Hi my dear! I use only Consorzio Parmigiano Reggiano parmesan cheese. It's the Italian Association of Parmesan. Small local companies united under a trusted brand. You can check on the packaging of the parmesan for a black logo "Parmigiano Reggiano". Also, I love the 24 months aged one, more flavor and less lactose = easier to digest for little ones. Sodium. Parmesan Cheese has sodium inside, it's how they make it. Consider that many foods have sodium inside. The point about baby nutrition is not to "add" any salt to your baby food and to pick up foods that are not loaded with sodium. The sprinkle of parmesan cheese that you put in your baby food is fine and will give more taste to the food. yes, it contains sodium, but in a moderate and safe quantity. I hope I was helpful :-) ciao!! b
+Yashodha Niyarepola Hi! Usually I suggest to start introducing lentils at around 8 months (you just need to wait few weeks!!) Lentils are very rich in proteins and fiber, so they might be difficult to digest from a 6 months baby's digestive system. Thank you for watching!! b
sure! I usually suggest this recipe starting from around 8 months as lentils are a wonderful nutritious food for babies but as they are rich in proteins and fiber they might be difficult to digest for a 6 months baby. Hope your little one will enjoy them!!! ciao, b
Hi robin! Sure, any kind of lentil. I really like red ones as they are very soft once cooked and they transform in a creamy paste. Other lentils can stay a bit hard even once cooked. Ciao! B
Hi it's ok to introduce garlic, onions and tomato as early as 8 months too? This recipe seems very nice so I'd like to know about the other veggies especially. Thanks.
+Shyaminie Pasupatham I would use garlic and onions without any problem starting from 6 months. Just remember that some babies are sensitive to onions as they might cause gas. I would wait for tomatoes up until 10/12 months as they are acidic and they might cause diaper rash or upset tummy. Let me know should you have any more questions!! ciao, b
Love your recipes! And love the way that you show us how to do it .. very precise and concise!!
Thanks so much! 😊
Red lentils soup + baby puree all at once! That's a time saver!!!
