for real i been doing major lifestyle changes since randomly finding this guy a few months ago. i just have it play in the background wihle i work out in my room. its not the working out he helps with, its the wisdom, theres a ton of self discovery along the way with a lifestyle change. i learned i lack discipline and other things, but most of all i lacked any self worth. hearing him struggle , somehow, with the same things i left push me down since high school is weirdly inspiring.
i treated my trash can better than i treated myself. like he said in another video "it doesnt have to be working out, but its gotta be something. you have to find some kind of passion. and then go for it".

Hey sam I’ve been working at a butcher shop in NY for 3 years. Something I would recommend to get your hands on a teres major. It’s a lean tender shoulder steak very similar to a filet but much you can get it for the price of a sirloin! It can be hard to find in the U.S but it’s worth looking into 💪

Garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, is a great seasoning combination and won't burn.
Dry your steak before cooking and wipe it over with oil, it will be minimal but make a huge difference.

I eat steak with low carb tortillas like that all the time, I started lightly frying them in canola oil with large grains of sea salt. Totally changes the enjoyment of the meal while barely changing the caloric intake. Yes it does add a few calories and most of that is fat. But the fats in canola oil are very low in saturated fats and higher in polyunsaturated fats, specifically omega 3 fats.

if you don't want seasoning to burn as easy try using an alternative oil instead of olive oil, peanut oil or vegetable. Avocado oil usually has the best smoke point for that type of thing

57:48 I know exactly what you mean by 6th sense. Took about 3 years of weighing food on a scale and getting the ultimate 6th sense for everything after repeating counting over and over and over again day in and day out, never taking a break (except the one week we went on vacation to universal studios for the kids). I still weigh almost everything I eat but now when we go out to eat once a week or so or the boys at work decide to order tuna and sushi, I have a decent eyeball for macros and I try not to overshoot protein or undershoot total calories when I have to guess. As long as you're not guessing a whole bunch per week it's okay to take a guess once or twice a week on a meal.

Only put salt on your steak when you cook it. Then after if you really want some other seasoning on it. Put one small slice of butter in a cup with garlic and onion season in there warm it up and then pour it on there after. Assuming you can have butter fat intake.

If your wanting a different steak seasoning get some Knor beef stock cubs, get 1 or 1/2 cube and mix with about 5-10ml of olive oil to make a paste, then rub the paste all over the steak and fry as normal.

if you're using some sort of rub or seasoning mix on your steak, put it on just before the steak is done. comes out great every time.
