The soundtrack for this was sooo underrated
more than underrated its awesome swing time
You mean underappreciated. It is one of my fav OSTs, ever, along with Terminator and Ecco soundtracks.
The most underrated music soundtrack in a video game! Eric Martin from Mr. Big sang the intro song "Swing Time". Thanks, for downloading this!
ar15f117 I know! Isn't it cool? When I saw the Game Sack about this, I stopped and said, "Wait...Eric Martin sang on the title track?!" I knew then and there that I had to try out the game. I wasn't disappointed.
Grawman67 are you aware of Eric’s work with Jun Senoue?
Spencer Nielsen absolutely killed it for this soundtrack!
They didn't have to go this hard for the Sega Cd but boy am I glad they did.
SwingTime Lyrics
Save this city
Save it from the hands of destruction
Innocent or guilty
It ain't always easy to see
Hangin' tough, just enough
Slippin' in and out of the shadows
Every man's hero
Driven by the sounds of the street
Now it's swingtime
Flyin' for justice
Swingtime
Take no prisoners
Swingtime
Bring home the bacon
Swingtime
Knockin' trouble out
Stop this nightmare
Caught up in the web of deception
I'm hangin' by a thread
Look who's still alive and kickin'
Now it's swingtime
Flyin' for justice
Swingtime
Take no prisoners
Swingtime
Bring home the bacon
Swingtime
Knockin' trouble out
Woke up a victim of circumstance
Stung by a fortune, protect the common man
Save this city
Save it from the hands of destruction
Innocent or guilty
It ain't always easy to see
Now it's swingtime
Flyin' for justice
Swingtime
Take no prisoners
Swingtime
Bring home the bacon
Swingtime
Knockin' trouble out
I think that the lyrics says "bring on the big guns" minor mistake
@getmoresleepy nah it's definitely bring home the bacon
This soundtrack collection is gold....Love playing this game for the Sega CD way back in the good old days!!
6:10 Sonic Adventure
I wouldn't have minded if this soundtrack were on the Spider-Man game that was released a couple of years ago.
Stop playing this soundtrack. You may be damaging your audio system. LOL
Oh shit I remember this game on my SEGA CD.. damn good game..even better soundtrack!
For some odd reason, i love hearing Track 03 on the pinball level 😂
Mr. Big !!!
I remember buying a copy of this game on eBay years ago just to have the music on CD for my portable CD player. There was a track that warned me not to play this game on an audio CD player because it could damage it. I would assume it was because of the game data on the first track. I never experienced any problems just listening to the music.
The warning was geared towards owners of early CD players that wouldn't discriminate between file types and play any data it saw, including machine code. Playing the data wouldn't damage the CD player's ability to read CDs; the loud static produced by reading random code, however, would likely blow out the speakers, many of which were very expensive and difficult to replace. You probably had a more modern CD player that only would play RedBook Audio and skip over everything else.
13:19 min just totally rocks. awesome part
The instruments sounds like Dragon Ball Budokai music
Excellent soundtrack to workout to. Keeps the motivation up!
These soundtracks should be on spotify. Sega cd ost's are to awsome, espesually for their time.
I prefer track 03 (as the CD) than Swing Time (track 02).
Before Masayoshi Takanaka could ever complete a song called "Goblin Theme" in "The White Goblin" album.
I used to love playing this game wish I still had it.
Saint Seiya I've heard there are ways you can play these games on a computer, but I wouldn't want to encourage you to EMULATE the rapscallions who do.
Track 8 was always my favorite when you were in the sewers!!!!
Sega cd + pionner = perfect audio!
Here for 27:49 , favorite of the whole soundtrack
Love track 5!
amazing soundtrack
final fight and Japanese version of sonic CD also
European SONIC CD is with Japanese music.
This has no right being this good.
Eu não sou mais criança mas quero todos os jogos
Track 13 is the best
track 10
And not one time is the cutscene theme popped up
Concert worthy music
Juraria que Eric Martin (Mr Big) es el vocalista del primer corte. . .
Es porque sí es Eric Martin de Mr. Big, aparece incluso en los créditos del juego y mencionado en la caja.
31:54 Cadillacs and Dinosaurs vibe !
Track 10 sounds like Mega Man X6 to me, kick-fucking ass!
14:40 use to be my jam while playing
where's the game over song
nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
This soundtrack is ok, but genesis one is better. Also,
This is 80s hairband soundtrack, when it was released, grunge music had taken over, pop was replaced with the gay alternative sound, hiphop started to become gangster, and heavy metal was replaced with thrash metal, the music landscape and atmosphere was totally changed.
Again, the soundtrack ia good, but about 10 years late.
...is that Stan Bush??
Yes
Butt Rock...This music has absolutely nothing to do with the game. Total mismatch.
+Eric Alan its early 90's Hair Metal
One of the best retro soundtracks of all time.
I am old enough that I made a tape of this to play in my car back in the day
there are quite a few underrated mega CD jems. devastator, Bari arm, earnest Evans, solfeace and of course batman, to name but a few long live Spenser Nilson! thanks for uploading not heard this beauty in a few yrs and still sounding great
22:04 Sounds like something you'd play while trucking through a highway in an 18 wheeler.
I just learned about this soundtrack from iretrogamer. Sounds awesome!
Man I loved this game back in the day, played the hell out of it.
Soundtrack 12 is jammin'. The Sega Genesis version was COMPLETELY different from the Sega CD version. As was Eternal Champions and many others, though some were exactly the same ports just with better music.
Personally, I like the Genesis OST for this game. Obviously you can't fit fully uncompressed wav audio on the Genesis soundchip, but instead we get extremely atmospheric chiptunes.
One of those masterpieces from the Sega CD Soundtracks. A must to added in a favorite video game music playlist.
32.00 min, it is the best song
I wish this had time captures. The credits song was awesome too...and I've searched for it for years...no joke
