I am watching at 5am February 29, 2020. Revisiting your wise videos and calming voice Miss Phyllis. Seeing you, Mr. Bucky and Peppy , knowing you enjoyed your life together here before your journey home, I got choked up watching... Are Wheeler and Steely still alive? You and Mr. Bucky were our online family and we appreciate Steven helping us with Isabella as his assistant, by uploading wonderful new content and sharing family updates, as we know he is grieving as well.
Watching their interaction just makes me smile. Such warmth and palpable love and respect between them. It kinda makes me sad in that I could feel their excitement about the property and building their dream home. I don't think I've ever witnessed such a well paired couple. 😇🙏💗
Brenda. I agree with you whole heartedly I just got internet AND was looking for freezing Swiss chard and found Phyllis. About ten vids in I found out she passed away 😪. I cried my eyes out. I’ve continued watching her channel- and so love them both. And I wish I could’ve known them before so I could’ve told them that via comments.
I'm soooo glad to see they got to enjoy their move...how great. Mr. Bucky always had such a sweet and pleasant Smile on his face always, no matter the situation! I've never seen such a comparable and loving marriage.. Their videos should Bless a lot of people forever. Never seen such hard workers, could do most every single project.themselves. They never stopped learning. Can't wait to meet them in Heaven..
This is lovely seeing reruns. I missed so much when I was caring for my husband. I do wonder why they chose such a cold spot to retire to and wonder if the house ever got built. At least they had a lot of fun planning. That is often the best part of any project.
Everyone has been conned into thinking that kale is better than any other green! Wrong! And many other greens taste better! So I was wondering how old they each were when they passed. I know that she didn’t live for very long after he passed. I had only recently discovered them when he passed, but they both made an impression on me. I find their videos to bring me a peaceful feeling and I am reminded of the better parts of my childhood.
Yes, they graduated upwards of Jacob's Ladder -- Mr. Bucky in summer of 2019, and Miss Phyllis in January of 2020. Not sure what plans the children had/have for this gorgeous property.
Food afficiados surmise the 1970s popularity of "soul food" propelled Southern (in U.S.A.) cuisine into the limelight, of which Kale is a core greens. It was/is widely grown Southern gardens. A downside of Kale is that it pulls more arsenic, than some other greens, from the soil.
Just love this couple and their life videos. I only wish I knew the time frame .... how long they got to live in the camper before Phyllis got sick and if they ever started on their new house in the mountains before the death of them both. Sooo happy I'll meet them in Heaven. Bless their family now !
Oh, Miss Phyllis and Mr. Bucky, I miss you so very much. I buy your flour sack towels, Miss Phyllis!! Just like yo said, I can get them at Wal-Mart and they are so good for everything!! I love you guys still and now we are in a Pandemic. I would so love to hear your wisdom and Mr. Bucky's sense of humour!! I loved you so and always will
Mrs Phyllis, Ive watched you and Mr Bucky for a long time and my heart is broken for you as you start this cancer thing without him being there physically to walk that journey with you. To honor Mr Bucky Ive enjoyed watching some older videos of y’all’s life together. You were such a beautiful couple and your and his laughter showed how very happy both of you were. Your purchasing of this RV and ten you bought the Allegro motor home and your stories you 2 told had me chuckling. Im in continued prayer for you and I pray that when our Heavenly Father calls us home that one day I will see both of you.

I thought I had seen this one too, but it was not checked !! She's right about the blender...I too have a vitamix and they are wonderful.....best blender I ever had..... you can make peanut butter in it, which I have, smoothies are super fine....you can also make hot soup....just put your vegetables and seasonings in it and it blends it and comes out hot...........a great blender....also makes ice cream.....etc.....How long did they get to live there ? I don't think they had even started their house did they? Dearest Phyllis, I love looking back to these times when you had Mr. Bucky with you. This was such a pleasure to watch!!! What a handsome man, and all that hair he still had. It's fun to see all you two hard-workers have done to the place. How sweet to hear how your little ones are adventuring and inspecting the new place and adjusting to it. They really are like little three yr olds, aren't they? Yes, I love that driveway rounded, curvy, quaint driveway too. I feel sad each day since Mr Bucky moved to his Father's House, and I pray each time for God to comfort your aching heart. It makes my heart ache that he is not there for you, but as a famous puritan once said, "The road is short and the miles so few to heaven." That often comforts me through this life. I know that you don't know each one of us, but each one of us knows you, and we love you, Phyllis. God's word says that we will be known in heaven as we are known here. And we will be fully human but with perfect everlasting bodies. Because we love you both, we can't wait to meet you there and introduce ourselves to you. Looking so forward to that!!!

I bought a ninja mixer 99.00 one from Walmart. It works awesome with frozen as well as fresh fruit. You got me addicted to green smoothies. Love you guys, God bless you and keep you.
Dear Ms. Phyllis and Mr. Bucky. I love your videos and stories. I could listen and watch all day. It would be fun to have you next door to me with your babys. You both are so great together. Have a blessed day. GOD BLESS YOU, MR. BUCKY AND YOUR LOVED ONES! Greetings from Hamburg, Germany
You two were so meant to be together. In life and on the other side. True soul mates forever. Even though you only had just begun your life in the woods. I'm sure it's heavenly and more beautiful where you both are now. Once again pain free and healthy, youthfulness you both can enjoy together. Life on earth was an experience for you both and those that you touched. A test of time on earth, now it is time to return back to the heavenly life you left behind. Both of your accomplishments & missions here were complete. Bucky was waiting to be reunited with you again in god's time.

So good to hear of your adventures at your new home. Thanks so much for the video Phyllis and Bucky. Take good care of yourselves and don't overdo. It's so easy to do when you are transitioning. Love and prayers to you both! Ingles stores are so nice too. :-) The Mrs.
If you are in Mountain Rest, S.C. you are near my birthplace, Salem, S.C. and also where I went to school, the D.A.R. school in Tamassee, S.C. Incidentally, when I was back I discovered Ingles. It is indeed a remarkably fine store! I visited them when I went to see my sister who lived in Cashiers, N.C. I'm sure you know where Cashiers is. I love the idea of the Camper. I really envy you. Also, I was glad to discover you again.

Phyllis I love this video of you and Mr bucky and also the tour of the travel trailer. I was so happy to see this video and when I saw you posted it I made popcorn and watched it and I can't wait to see the house being built soon Darren
I'm so glad to see you looking well and so happy! I love your new mountain home. It's just beautiful there. My house is about 1/2 solar. It has extra insulation, and windows the full length and height of the south side. The roof overhang shades them in the summer, but in the winter when the sun is out, I almost don't need heat, at all. My south side windows are the size of patio doors, so were very inexpensive. We heat this huge house with 1 1/2 cords of wood a year, and I haven't turned on the forced air but about 2 times in 16 years. (In case I forget later on) one of the best things is a whole house fan. It's very cost effective, and I don't think you will ever regret it. .
thanks for sharing ur smoothie's with us my sister made them alot to she has passed and I forgot some of her recipes. But when you used the silk it brought back memories of her useing that product. thank u
Be sure to use a gallon of antifreeze in your blackwater tank to keep it from freezing even while you are living there. I learned the hard way as no one told me about this. I wish I had another RV.
Phyllis, if you leave your black tank open on the rv you will build up a pyramid of poo in the bottom and it will dry up because the flush water is just not enough to get it on down. When we bought our rv they said never leave it open because of this. When ours fills up we bring in a hose with a wand on it after the black water is dumped and really give it a good cleaning. Hope this helps so many people have made that mistake and wind up just buying a new tank. Enjoy your new mountain place!
Hi TheEqualizer64, thanks for the advice, it is much appreciated. Our tanks are connected to a septic tank with regular sewage connections. Also the gray tank is connected directly with the black water tank. Mr. Hughes had our neighbor the plumber do this three years ago. Before we left the property Mr. Bucky and I brought the garden hose inside the trailer and flushed out the black water tank till it was running clear and we left it open to the septic tank. Did we make a mistake? We also added one of those little enzyme packets as per Mr. Hughes instructions. I sure hope we haven't messed up our holding tanks by leaving them open. Please let me know. Thanks
No you did not hurt your tank. It takes a while for it to build up, but I'm not really sure about hooking straight into the septic. The best thing you could do is talk to someone that knows more about hooking straight into the septic. Sorry I could not help you more. Best to you both, Gail
Howdy Phyllis ,I love your videos.Sorry for your loss Of Bucky Prayers for peace and comfort . Keeping you in my prayers . Phyllis and Bucky you are a awesome couple Love Nelda Coffman
I wanted to suggest a tankless water heater. It runs off gas. You could possibly have one installed and then transfer it to your new home once it's ready. My husband installs them as part of his job.
Yes, we do have an Ingles. How far is your mountain home from Asheville? Try THE FRESH MARKET. You will find the best organic veggies and fruits there.. There are plenty apple orchards there. Some of the best ones are around Hendersonville, NC. I love the mtns. It is heaven on earth. You will also find fields of cabbage, tomatoes , squash and almost any other vegetable and if you drive up to a house they will hand you a knife and bag and you go out into the fields and pick or cut whatever you want and take it back to the owner and pay for the produce there. Now, that is what you call fresh vegetables.
It's about 2 hours from Mountain Rest, S.C. to Asheville, N.C. Love mountain apples - would love to be able to get vegetables right out of the field as you've described.
I am happy I came across your videos ! I loved hearing about how you met each other & being christian also. I still have several more to watch yet. I love both of your personalities! :)
Love my small camper trailer from the 90's took it to campground only once so far. Like having in our backyard near pool an picnic table. Four different weekends had people that visited us this summer stay in it.
Loove the land!!!..are there anymore lots available?we have talked about moving into a camper or tiny home..I do a lot of crafts and I would have to have a room for that hahaha..but seriously..in our 60s now and seriously looking at options..did u sell your home and this is permanate>I’m new to your channel..loving it all!!
Their plans were to start the build after their large house in town sold. Due to the soft market at that time, it had not sold when Mr Bucky rather suddenly died. UPDATE: That house sold quickly after their estate affairs were settled.

I bought a ninja mixer 99.00 one from Walmart. It works awesome with frozen as well as fresh fruit. You got me addicted to green smoothies. Love you guys, God bless you and keep you.
My ex husband and I had a camper just like that one! Oh how I miss our retreat!
All I can say is Wow, God's country. I have to get out of California. Just beautiful at your place.
Dear Ms. Phyllis and Mr. Bucky.

You and Mr. Bucky are so cool! I am binge watching your channel. I am 50 and u are my inspiration for life!😀
I love the area. Hope you have a very happy time there.
Beautifully said, Jude. ❤️

❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ Miss y'all so much. So happy we can still watch your videos.
Phyllis I love this video of you and Mr bucky and also the tour of the travel trailer. I was so happy to see this video and when I saw you posted it I made popcorn and watched it and I can't wait to see the house being built soon Darren
Y’all are too cute! I love to hear Miz Phyllis interviewing Mr Bucky..😊
But when you used the silk it brought back memories of her useing that product. thank u
Your dogs are too precious.
Ingles is a great place to shop. If you get tired of baking, they have some wonderful cocoanut cake there.
You both are so full of life!
RIP both of you!
Kind of fun watching this, brought back memories o when I lived in my RV, it does take a while to get the hang o it all! But oh so fun!
Be sure to use a gallon of antifreeze in your blackwater tank to keep it from freezing even while you are living there. I learned the hard way as no one told me about this. I wish I had another RV.
You should get the collars that light up for the dogs.
I hope you both enjoy your new home, God Bless!
Gotta try this smoothie
It’s nice to have a little get-away time !
Steely has human like facial expressions...he’s so precious
RIP Ms. Phyllis and Mr. Bucky
We still have the house, land and RV.
Your life is so interesting and also you are a intelligent lady bless. ❤️
I miss wheeler & peppy so!! love steely & thankful you still have him!!
I would not let the dogs loose, you have coyotes, hawks, owls. Probably bear and wolves.
I always freeze my strawberries and bananas for smoothies, so the smoothie is cold. Looks good though. Love your place :)
How much time did they have here before they passed away ? Did they get their house built ???
@New Life 51 😦
Their plans were to start the build after their large house in town sold. Due to the soft market at that time, it had not sold when Mr Bucky rather suddenly died. UPDATE: That house sold quickly after their estate affairs were settled.
Y’all are TRUE PATRIOTS! I found you when you both passed and I’m so sad. I feel like I lost a family member. I am born and raised in SC. Born in Greenville and married in Charleston and now in Greenville, SC again 26 years married and my husband stationed in Charleston from Peoria, IL! Made him a Republican! Donald Trump again 2020!
This is so nice !♥️🤗👏🏼👏🏼
