That "hat" is actually a Balaclava, used a lot where it snows, to protect the face. You should find it useful and it looks fine on you! You can configure it myriad ways, as a beanie, etc.

I love watching your cruises. We are concerned about Pudding. Today we had to euthenaise our dog Dashwood. It's hard to share these thoughts but we needed to think more about our dog than us wanting to keep him going. Keep your chin up. x
Awww no, So Sorry about your loss, its heartbreaking …. Puddin is our number one priority, everything we do is about Puddin getting the best care …we are not just ‘keeping him going’ He is a very happy and healthy dog except for the paralysis in his back legs … we are following the vets advice and obviously if his happy little mood changes or the vet thinks he is in unmanageable pain then we will think again but at the moment he is still a very happy little boy and we will do anything we can for him … I’m not sure if you follow on social media but Puddin now has a set of wheels for his back legs and is running round like a puppy … once again so sorry for your loss - pets are our family ❤️
The Peak Forest Canal has to be one of the best on the network and the Macclesfield Canal is the warm up act. I'm so glad the tourists don't know about them yet. The Llangollen is nice but too busy IMHO. I hope CRT manage to keep Bosley lock flight open.

Watched other channels going along this canal. It is lovely. It’s being lovely here also. Went out to cut firewood late in the day . The forest is intensely green right now. Mosquitoes are only slightly annoying.
