just wanna say, german puppet states were officially a part of germany, but tecnically they had their own government and well theyre called reichskommissariats but still a good video! ❤
Thank you very much! I'm actually aware that they were part of Germany proper, it's not like most of them had any different laws or anything like that, it was an extension of Germany. I'm drawing the lines based on currency funnily enough, since I'm collecting banknotes and coins. Occupied states and Reichskommissariats had their own! Also thank you for the support! Heres an Idea: What if Turkey Joined the Axis in 1942?

@@rewriting-history Yeah i'd Imagine the Turkish and Germans Would Capture the Soviet Oil Reserves in the South, and Turkey Would probably Seize Syria and some of Palestine!

I have a idea: What if France won the Napoleonic Wars because they didn't invade Russia
The suggestion sounds interesting, will look into that and how possible it was! I will be for sure making videos from around the 1800`s, it's just that as you can see I'm making my own custom maps and I would have to make so many new maps for each period in history!
Great video! I don’t see Why Germany would invade Denmark though considering that was only a short route to the greater goal of invading Norway. Also Irl Hitler didn’t Annex Northern Schleswig since he respected the 1920 plebiscite.
I am aware of all you just said, but decided to go a bit unhistorical, for the sake of making an interesting video. I dont think that Poland would be invaded or would reject the Gdańsk ultimatum. Because whole Polish strategy in the begining of war was based on France and GB. So we could see actual appeasment betwen Germany and Poland meaby even possible alliance against the soviets.
True, there were certainly talks of that, I just choose the idea that would make the video more interesting!
And Czechoslovakia would have been partitioned by Germany, Hungary & Poland, who would receive the other half of Slovakia.
If Im right the Germans only sent the demands a day before invading Poland, so Poland wouldnt have any time to answer

Effectively this was a good idea, never understood why Germany hasn't been divided in four or five little insignificant states, this surely would've avoided some problems, not WWII, bcz Stalin surely would've attacked the other european nations, with help from the various local commies and this would've been a nasty matter. And about Austria-Hungary, it was divided bcz it had literally collapsed, dividing itself in a group of nations, so also in this timeline we would've had a dwarfed Austria

I personally think Stalin would be more prepared. The reason i say so is because the reason Stalin did not see a german invasion coming was because Germany was already busy with britain, and stalin bielieved that a 2 front war for Germany is something hitler would never commit to.
Cannot say for certain, but even if he was more prepared, the outcome of the war would be the same as what I presented

Considering what the Germans did in the USSR in our timeline, they would have definitely done the same in this alternative one, so the USSR stopping before reaching the French border and completely annihilating Germany doesn't look very realistic to me.
Yes, maybe. Realism is not my priority, it's making actually interesting videos. That's how I get paid in the end of the day. UA-cam doesn't reward me doing stuff 100% historically, as it would make the video somewhat boring, since nothing major would happen.
Italy declaring war on yugoslavia and greece during the operation barbarrosa sounds not very likely and also italy did not commit large ammounts off troops to barbarossa historically because they had nothing to gain and i dont think this would change also in your scenario i do not believe italy would declare war on yugoslavia if they commited large ammounts of troops to the eastern front and rommel historically never served on the eastern front why would he be a large contributer to the succes of the eastern front also italy loosing sardinia italy in this timeline should be a lot stronger due to another 3 years of not being at war and unprepared for it and generally why are revolutions in germany the balkans usw germany didnt have a revolution in reallife and they lost the war way harder with way more dead the balkan socialist federation are we rly based on history in this video. I liked the first bit of the video which was atleast somewhat realistic.

I like your videos, but Hungary wasn't a hard part of Axis, joining only after receiving northern transylvania(something you never draw). I just don't see Hungary remaining loyal, as even in our timeline the germans have invaded them to puppet them

Sounds similar to Winston Churchill's plan to divide post-ww2 Germany, basically recreating Austria-Hungary.
Yeah I've seen a map of that and I thought of making it into an alternative history, but it would make an interesting scenario!

It's undecided for now, depends on the political situation in Germany. Historically it was very difficult for France to keep even the Saarland.

Germany would have reached moscow and caucasus no doubts if they were at peace with the western allies. USSR is far weaker than you might think.
I know that it was weaker and the only reason they survived is lend lease from the allies. In this scenario, since the allies weren't at war, maybe they would be able to send more than what they had in our timeline

True, I am well aware that they wanted the Germans and the USSR to fight against each other and for the allies to beat what remains of both of them. However I think the public will find out what Germany is doing and would demand a war.

The problem with trying to appease Hitler is that it assumes Hitler is a rational man
That is true, but there is no way to know for certain. I doubt that he would stop his expansion after getting everything he had wanted

He was and as military vet he respected strength and was contemptuous of weakness.
He was relatively rational but just like with Putin, we were blind to the obvious as to what he wanted. He told us, he wrote it down and published it and we didnt believe him.

In the end the Soviets always win.
Greece wouldn't capitulate. They would defeat Italy on the Albanian front just like IRL.
This happened because Germany was not in the war for a couple of months. In this timeline however Germany has already stationed troops there and they take Greece just like they did in our timeline.

Well I decided to sacrifice realism in order to make an interesting video. If it was actually historically accurate, than that would make a very boring video. In the end I need to make internet videos
The war prevented the french from turning communist, also, there was never a "national socialist state of ukraine" the germans had a very distinct reichskommissariat policy

What if communist revolutions succeeded in germany and/or the UK and France instead of Russia? What if the russian civil war had spawned various countries rather than the one soviet union? I.e moscow could be an ssr, but there would be independent nationstates throughout the rest of former russia.
