I like how Austria lost over 60% of it's territory after WWI, but the thing which pushed it over the edge for Hitler was Liechtenstein annexing Vorarlberg..
I see your point, however Liechtenstein could be used as a small victory, after that they could have pursued Czechoslovakia for the Sudetenland etc. It could be the beginning of the domino effect and a small win for Hitler's politics.

Its amazing to see some stuff from my reddit post however i have several questions:
1: Why does italy anexes that much land from swiss while they have austria as teir ally this were german speaking regions
2: Polish borders (Im polish so i might be bias) If poland is conquered by both comunist powers shouldnt they be as some comunist satelite state with their borders from times of german empire (U know when their rebeled against russia when soviet union formed) also from what i understand poland was part of allies then why they didnt recive polish speaking majority regions at least looking at austria that got to annex most of german speaking land

1. I'm aware that Italian is widely spoken mostly in the canton of Ticino and in small pockets all along the Italian border. However I decided to give them a bit more, mainly the canton of Valais whose population at the time was around 120,000 (source: Wikipedia). The reason for that is because Italy will have a longer border with France, which makes sense for that in case of a future war with the Allies.
2. Poland would become a SSR within the Soviet Union, not a "puppet government" like it was in our timeline. About the German and Russian imperial borders. They could have done that, but since both nations are communist and this exact border was a hotspot in the first world war, it would make sense to go for a different border. Because if they chose the same, it would seem like they would go to war against each other. (Since it happened only 15 years after WW1, it's fresh event in many's mind). Finally Poland wasn't part of the Allies, they simply rebelled against the USSR, so did Ukraine, the Baltics and Caucasia. That means they will have a separate peace deal with the Soviets later. Poland and Austrian Germany never signed a peace treaty however and their border is not determined yet, so another war will follow.

i would have put in the title that this is the part 2, i didnt know it until i watched it. And I dont think Adolf would start his dictartorship by declaring wars against his neighbours, i think he could try to send an ultimatum to return their austrian land, and then if they acept, go and send another just to annex the country. Although i dont see probable that the liechtenstein goverment would accept, it is better than anything
If I put part 2 in the title, I assume that people who haven't watched part 1 won't watch this video. I try to make them sort of separete, so they feed on eac hother, but you can watch one without the other. I'm working on part 3 rn, so expect that after a couple of hours!

I'd like to tell a few facts:
Here in Vorarlberg, we have easy access to Switzerland borders. Whether if it's by train or car. Sometimes they don't check our passports.
Our culture is Austrian here, but we have a big bond with Switzerland in work space. Some people here work in Switzerland instead because they earn more money there. Swiss people also get tax free stores here in Vorarlberg, which is the reason why a lot of swiss people come to us for shopping.
