Very cool....I have a .8 in my detail gun so hope that works. What about over spray settling on adjacent panels before you get to them? Do you have to keep going to adjacent spokes and re wiping while spraying the rest of the wheel?
Talking with some paint professionals about aerosolizing ceramic spray like that. You really should be covering your skin as well. That's a breathing organ and especially If you're coating has polysiloxane in it. You don't want that getting on your skin & absorbing in either. I use one of those Tyvek $15 Painter's suits from Home Depot. Just looking out for your long term safety bro. Maybe use a painters respirator with the organic vapor cartridges too for a better seal & filtering.
Hello, could you please help. Did you use the gun in your video as is or did you change the nozzle as you specify 1.0/1.5 nozzle or needle? Could you please advice prior to me buying. Cheers mate. Great video
Well, this would have been a very nice video - however, without any useful links and buying options for the needles, it looks like it left many people pissed off. I guess I'll try somewhere else.
Great video! I'm always looking out for your innovative ways to try and simplify the process. Out of curiosity, if I'm looking at buying T9 for my car paint, would T6+ still be more durable on wheels in comparison to T9?
Actually this coating self levels in about 45 min. It was originally designed to be sprayed via Hvlp/air brush. In doing so it will give up to 25 microns of protection because it expands on contact
I have to say a foam block and micro suede towellettes are annoying to use. Have any of you tried the microfiber applicator small sponges yet? This does look cool Landon good job...
So you have to change the needle to a 1.0 or 1.5 but can't find a source for said needles ? Doesn't that make the airbrush useless. I bought one and am waiting to use it.
AQUALUX AUTO DETAILING that’s great!! The bottle can do up to two cars correct? And my last question is on the light you use for paint correction is it called luntec?
Hey Landon a bit confused on the airbrush. You mention to use 1.0 to 1.1 diameter orifice but the one in the link is much smaller. Did you actually use the smaller orifice in your video? Or upgrade the nozzle?
I have looked and looked and failed at finding one on amazon. Could you give me the amazon number or do screen shot? I have googled it but no luck. I bought one of the airbrushes you used but I am about to return it because I can’t find the needle.
Take the video down until you can source the correct needle. I wasted 30 minutes trying to find correct needle to no avail. Not sure why you won’t tell us how to get the needle?
I’m not sure why I would want to take the video down. I like recording the process, maybe I don’t always have all the information but I try to get it out there the best I can. Imo 1.1mm paasche air brush and a mini compressor that keeps the psi around 20-30 psi is what I have found best. Thank you for your genuine feedback and I really do appreciate you taking the time to watch my video and leave a comment. Have a great weekend John.

T6+ will last 3 years inner wheel well. So I would absolutely use t6+ for the wheels 👊👊👊
Hey bro, are you still using this same air brush gun? Great video!
What psi do those brushes run at?
Ever see the 20v Worx maker Airbrush. Wondering if it would work, notice it uses between 14-18 psi.
Thinking about getting into mobile detailing, is it worth it???
Depends how hungry you are
@@AQUALUXAUTODETAILING my appetite is building up lol
The only thing that I would worry about is the residual that’s in the air and landing back on the paint. Could take away from the final finish.

@@AQUALUXAUTODETAILING just saying I would not apply this without a proper ventilation system to redirect the overspray. Just me.

Is there no flash time when spraying compared to wiping it on? You sprayed and immediately wiped off.
Depends on the temps and if you’re using a pro coating or Not 👊👊👊
@@AQUALUXAUTODETAILING do you see any flash? I am in Florida so temps are in the 80s in winter and 90s most of the other time.

Hey Landon, when doing the microsuede method do you use multiple microsuedes on one car or only 1 per car?
I typically am using around 3-4 per car
AQUALUX AUTO DETAILING awesome does the coating come with enough to do one car or enough for two?
Erik V yes Scott includes around 6 or so w every coating
AQUALUX AUTO DETAILING that’s great!! The bottle can do up to two cars correct? And my last question is on the light you use for paint correction is it called luntec?

Suds&Go no
AQUALUX AUTO DETAILING sorry for all the questions. Do you have link to the orifice?
Haven’t been able to find one. This was a test run when I did this video
Nice airbrush, a compressor can get really annoying at times.
Did you have to get a adapter for the cordless airbrush or was it ready to use?
1SICK50 adapter but they are hard to find and I didn’t know that to begin with.
AQUALUX AUTO DETAILING did you use one on the video I was really impressed on it
1SICK50 yes it was a 1.05

AQUALUX AUTO DETAILING just got the airbrush guessing don’t need a adapter or a specific setting to use it?
It’s been a couple months, are you still using this method
I do but each situation dictates when I use it if that makes sense. Majority of my clients have T9 applied to their paint
Where were you able to source the 1.0 or 1.1 needle?
negative.. I am sorry
Did the one you are using come with the 1.05 needle or did you have to buy that separate?
I had to buy it. There are a few options I’m looking at right now
