Cut to the Chase~! Buff it off~! lol~!! video shows how resistant ceramic coating can be~! if you want to remove, you decon first then Attack it with polisher~!
Yeah I would of just buffed it. It gives off a weird sweet smell as it’s getting burned off Such a slog just to hear something I already knew. Unfortunate
I think most people know you just polish it off for paint, but I actually found this is good video for textured trim, matte paint, and protection films. This was helpful to for me cause I needed to remove a messed up coating on exterior trim on a Jeep.
You said a long time ago that the only way to remove a ceramic coating was to polish it away and I remembered that coming into the video. Thanks for your work.
Holy cow! I've been waiting for a new video this entire week but I didn't see this one coming😱 Pan, I gotta tell you this was one serious torture test, I have never seen anyone do this kind of test on UA-cam! Awesome entertainment, see you on the next one👋🏻
I am almost positive I’ll never actually do this to our vehicles but I really just watched this fully enthralled the whole video. Very informative! Thank you!
@@PanTheOrganizer Happy New Year to you too! I follow quite a few auto detailing channels, and this video popped up as recommended when I opened my app tonight and I’m not disappointed 😊
Sweet! You found one of the biggest and fastest growing detailing channels on UA-cam as we’re approaching 600,000 subscribers and have surpassed 65 million views. I have been detailing cars for over 23 years now and I love sharing my passion and knowledge with my viewers. You’ll have over 500 videos so far on my channel with new ones added at least once weekly, typically on Saturday mornings at 8am EST. Tons of awesome content coming your way so stay tuned. What country are you watching from? Cheers from Canada 🇨🇦!
Thanks Pan for giving an actual clear answer to the question! A lot of detailers leave us with more questions than answers in the end of their videos. If you can answer me question I will really appreciate it. Does an old wax that has remained on the car for 3-4 months needs to be removed with some process before you apply a new wax? They say that when you apply a second coat of wax you also remove the old one, so my understanding is I can wax my car every month if I wanted without using any process like special shampoos that claim this result. I also was very proud when I found out that you are Greek!
If you want to remove the old wax, there are what is called strip washes which help break down those waxes and sealants, they wouldn't do anything on this paint, and then when your rinsing car, keep an eye what it looked like when you did your pre rinse and see what it looks like after you strip wash to guage where your at. Also, you need to use only the strip wash because a lot of washes now have some sort of protection built into them, so if your looking to remove the old wax remember you dont wanna add new wax, even goes for clay bar, if your using a detail spray (which all clay lubes are basically a detail spray, you can do this on the cheap with many products, you might wanna re wash the vehicle again with the strip wash and be certain none of the detail spray adhered to the paint.
I completely and rather easily removed my 2.5+ year old CarPro CQuartUK coating with a clay mitt and P&S Wheel cleaner and went back to sealants and it came out great. Thanks for another great video, cheers.
Great video Pan! I do have a question though, do you think that leaving the products sitting on the paint longer, that it would have accelerated the breakdown?
I think these coatings are great! I only found one thing (by accident) that can damage a coating - wheel and tire cleaner (strong commercial grade). I inadvertently splashed some on my own coated vehicle and found it an hour later. There were dull spots on the finish that I couldn't remove chemically. I went to the compound and pad to remove the coating mechanically and re-applied. Thank you for the realistic demonstration :) I think dwell time is a big factor - longer dwell more reduction in coating function.
It must be time to turn in that lease and get a new one? I wasn't surprised by this result at all. I've heard that Pro Plus basically needs to be wet sanded to be removed fully.
@@PanTheOrganizer usually people like us have no problem selling or trading in our vehicles, more often than not I get, "let me know if you ever want to sell it" from friends and neighbors.
Thank you Pan! I have always wondered how long the coatings would last and what they could repel. A few of my cars have had professional ceramic coatings applied and lost some of the hydrophobic properties overtime, so I though the coating was gone. I am pretty sure it was due to my bad maintenance wash habits and not the coatings. those bad wash habits have no changed due to your videos! Thank you!
Glad to help! And you are right. A good maintenance regimen is key. At least once every two or three months, once should do a good wash, possibly use a tar and iron remover, and finish with a coat of silica spray sealant to replenish the coating and ensure maximum durability and keep its properties top notch.
Pan i really liked this, and the fact that you did it on your own car i loved that. You love what you doing. I keep watching all what you do, keep it up like always you do.
Good afternoon, Pan. Excellent video! Some conclusions that can be made based on the experiment: 1) The ceramic coating is resistant to several automotive cleaning products; 2) The "Carpro" products that were tested proved to be safe on surfaces with ceramic coating; 3) The water repellent properties improve with a ferrous, organic washing and decontamination process and removal of acid rain stains or water stains; 4) Compounds with a more acidic or alkaline pH can interfere with the water repellency of the ceramic coating. It is suggested that other methods are necessary to remove the ceramic coating, in this case, mechanical processes. Thank you very much for the video, Pan. It was very brave to test the products on this beautiful BMW!
Great video Pan. I would not have thought that the ceramic coating could have withstood such abuse. Makes for a great selling point for people in future thinking about applying it to their cars. For professional detailers like many of us it makes for a much easier sell. Thanks!!
Excellent vid, Pan! Thank you. My only comment is...how can you tell how effective EACH chemical is i.e. did the previous 7 chemicals degrade the coating so #8 seemed somewhat effective? I would've liked to see 8 separated test sections each working by themselves on the original coating thickness.
Great video Pantelis. I have subscribed to several car care channels. But no is like yours. You explain everything and show us in every detail what and how we can achieve something. You have answers for everything and that makes your channel unique throughout UA-cam. Thank you very much

Hey Pan. Trust you are doing good. Every time I am always very enthusiastic to see your videos and much satisfied after watching. I started detailing my Skoda rapid car and really enjoying. Thank you very much for sharing your experience and much appreciated.
Great video Pan, the only suggestion I have is to clarify the difference between “PRO GRADE” vs “PROSUMER GRADE” coatings and how to remove them because most pro grades like crystal serum ultra, opticoat etc need to be wet sanded since polishing will not completely remove them with polishing alone like it will on a prosumer grade product.
@@PanTheOrganizer Pan, I put turtle wax hybrid ceramic spray On my hood ,new truck But didn't Decontaminate first because I didn't know better..... How can I remove the Ceramic spray wax so that I can do things properly. thank you again.
I remember when Yvan Lacroix installed your coating. He said that Opticoat's coating resists all chemicals throughout the entire pH scale. If this was my car with 2 coats of Cquarts, the acid based wheel cleaner would have definitely taken it off if mixed strong enough.
Yeah the Opti-Coat Pro+ has a claimed durability of pH 0-14. Not all coatings have the same chemical resistance, although all of them greatly surpass waxes and sealants. CarPro CQuartz UK 3.0 has a resistance of pH 3 ~14.
That was a great video! I just applied a Ceramic coating last weekend 7/17/21 and so far I love it. It is a Chemical Guys product called Carbon Force. It was very easy to apply, and seems to be forgiving for a "pro level" coating. You're right about the removal, it's really only an abrasive that is effective. I overlapped on a window by accident and didn't see it until it set up. I had to use a heavy cut medium on the glass to remove the smudge of Ceramic Coating. Thank you so much for taking the time to create these videos. I learn so much.
My pleasure Allen! Good to know that my viewers are taking care of their vehicles. More and more people now are ceramic coating their vehicles thanks to my videos and tutorials, so that's awesome!
How do you know if you did remove the ceramic coating with mechanical polishing and or wet sanding when the hydrophobic properties may be gone but the protection still there?
No consumer grade coating will survive polishing or wet sanding. A professional grade 5+ year coating might, but that’s it. I hand polished a spot on my hood a month after applying cquartz and it completely removed it in that spot. But to answer your question after you polish just use an IPA wipe down and if it’s super slick then there might be ‘some’ protection left but if it’s a little grippy then there’s nothing there. If you rinse that panel and see zero beading or sheeting that’s also another way to tell
As always, Pan, great video and education. Yes, I just purchased a 2021 BMW M330i, and after the proper prep work I applied the following coating. Two coats of Artdeshine Metal Oxide Coating, followed by two coats of Tacksystem Top Coat. Time will tell. Have a great weekend.
Thanks! Yeah Opti-Coat Pro+ can resist chemicals in the entire pH range. pH 0-14. I have a video where we applied it here: ua-cam.com/video/C_hb8PMP3KA/v-deo.html
After buying the graphene coating I was a little scared to think that you would be able to take the coating off with chemicals because that was the main reason for my buying it. Happy to find out my fears were unfounded. Great video as always
Great information pan.. why I liked the vid is it shows if I'm cleaning my tires and so wheel brightener gets on the paint, it won't strip the coating..thanks for the intel
I always wanted to know how to remove it from paint. They always talk about how durable it is, but never how to remove it when the time comes. Thanks a lot 😁 Btw, nice channel. I came from UA-cam recommendations and now I’m subscribed
Thanks Rafael! Since you subscribed to my channel, let me officially welcome you to the Pan The Organizer family! What’s your favourite video on my channel so far?
Hello from Germany….thanks for another great and informational video. You are a brave soul submitting your BMW to such harsh treatment but your video drove the learning point home. My Volvo XC40 was ceramic coated immediately after purchase in March 2019 and am totally satisfied. The application was performed by a local professional and came with a 5 year certified warranty. Ater viewing your video on the new Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Pro Graphene FEX Wax, i had my two bottles mailed over from the USA. While it’s currently too cold yet to apply TW Flex Wax, I plan to use it as a topping and general maintenance. Got the beer on ice awaitig your next video!!!
@@PanTheOrganizer There are numerous ones that were excellent but if I had to select only one, then the "What's better - Wax, sealant or ceramic coating" video really stood out.
G'day Pan, I have now caught up with your videos. I'm glad it was your car and not mine that you did this chemical test on, as we both have the same ceramic coating (2 years old as well in Feb). The first few chemical tests was basically doing a chemical decontamination which was why the coating came back to its original form. Nice to know the coating can withstand a beating of chemicals, knowing this would not happen in reality. I finally got to chemically decontaminate my car and I used the Optimum Power Clean tip you mentioned before foaming the car, worked a treat. The decontamination brought back the hydrophobic properties like new, as did yours. I finished it with Turtle Wax Seal & Shine(new formula) as a topper. Compliments keep coming from neighbors. Thoroughly enjoyed the torture test. Ozz

Oh, and the best products of 2020.. ok, I will stop now.

I knew the answer before watching the video, but I was shocked that you did this to your professionally coated vehicle as I was expecting it to be on a prosumer coating at end of life (e.g. wife's vehicle). I'm very impressed that the coating self healed. If it were my vehicle, I would've panicked and broke out the Opti-Seal and never known about the self-healing.
One needs lots of courage to do and show this on own car, only you can do this pan... most premium car , most premium coating and largest heart to do this. But you love your audience and subscribers. Those are more important than your car. No one does that..... lots of love...

I really liked this video. I have a question about the ceramic coating. If I apply ceramic coating on the windscreen, does it affect the vision at night drives in the rain?
You would use a ceramic coating specifically formulated for glass. Like the one I present in my glass polishing and protection video : ua-cam.com/video/yMi5PtyqUI8/v-deo.html
Pan = Crazy, could have picked up a test hood at a bone yard for $50 but instead, he chose to use his very expensive BWB to prove a point. This guy is the "real deal" folks when it comes to car detailing!!!
The results are always the same. Ceramic and graphene coatings are no joke. Did you watch one of my recent videos where we put three coatings to a crazy torture test? These were consumer grade coatings, available to the public, and heck they even resisted being put on fire! Literally. Watch my video: ua-cam.com/video/Fq_XeI28Vso/v-deo.html
Wow, I'm honestly surprised ceramic coatings stood up to those most aggressive chemicals! The end stuff is no joke and DEFINITELY makes me look forward to applying my own ceramic coating knowing they mechanically provide so much chemical resistance! I do have a question, though, Pan! Can you get the same gloss & liquid-like appearance in a ceramic coating as from a liberally applied wax-based product?

Great video! I appreciate your dedication to detailing, risking your own car. I do have a couple of questions: 1. Would you reccomend "weaking" the coating with one or more of these chemicals, prior to polishing off with a DA? 2. The Carpro bug remover intrigued me with its cleaning abilities. Would you reccomend this as a possible step in reviving or deep cleaning a coated vehicle?
Thanks Jay! To answer your questions... 1) Not necessary. I would simply do a wash, iron remover, claybar, and start the polishing process. 2) To revive and deep cleaning a coated car, at least once every 6 months, you should wash the car, use a tar remover followed by an iron remover. Watch my 1 year update video on my coated car: ua-cam.com/video/ud4wGakuSWs/v-deo.html You wouldn't do exact all those steps on coatings that aren't as chemical resistant, but you get the big picture.
wow amazing thanx Pan ...speaking of ceramic coatings i just got 3 boxes of avalon king, im gonna give it a try , i have 2 cars with original paint 1 is a 1990 mustang gt and the other is a 1978 camaro z28 , the older car has single stage paint i hope it bonds well
Pan. Huge fan. Love that you try these products on your own vehicle. Shows dedication. How do you wash your microfiber after using coatings? I put my towels in the wash and my apartment smelled like I just doused it in carpro reload.
You never wash your microfiber towels used to remove/level ceramic coatings. You have to throw them away. Washing them won't remove the tiny particles of silica that will dry and form crystals once hardened, and will scratch your paint if you reuse them.
Just put on the Chemical Guys Carbon Force ceramic coating. What is the best method to maintain a coating to give you the full 5 years or good length of time?
I hope you'd split the hood into sections where you try each product individually. I have a ceramic coating and i want to remove it. However, i don't know which worked from the products, is it the product it self or the repetitive applying and changing the product.
The ONLY way to ensure 100% removal of a ceramic coating is by machine polishing. That’s the entire point of this video. Did you watch my video until the end??
I used CarPro CQQuartz on 3 cars and AvalonKing on one as ceramic protection. Two products you have recommended. AvalonKing was cheaper because of your help. AvalonKing seems to me a little easier to apply , flashing time was a little quicker and buffing was very easy. I am very please with CQQuartz after 10 months. AvalonKing was apply just recently, so I am reserving my judment. Thank you for sound advices.
I am impressed! Who makes the blue tape? Surprisingly the bug and tar remover residue didn’t burn the adhesive on it?🤔 ok I just saw the blower move the tape!
For air fresheners, I would give it to Angelwax Eden and Angelwax Bliss. For interior quick detailers, Lithium InnerSpace and Adam’s Interior Quick Detailer smell awesome.
Bonjour Pan!! Great video again. But a true sign of how good your library of videos are? I knew the answer before I watched this video 😁😎 And I’m just a weekender who has seen all your videos. Thanks for all the knowledge and training!!! Merci!!!
Thanks Pan for a great video! This spring I will be coating my husband's Tacoma with Avalon King. I bought a DA polisher a couple months ago and I'm practicing paint correction on some fenders in my basement 🙂.
Wow Pan! I would of been pretty worried to try that on my paint! I kind of figured mechanical was the way to go for full removal. I purchased that Avalon King I'm going to try that this spring as soon as it warms up here in Wisconsin.
Hello Pan, another great video!!! Question, I had a graphene coating put on my black sedan by a "professional" coating installer. Fast forward to 90 days since applied, I noticed the other day in the sunlight a few streaks in the application. Why did I not see that before? Good question, simple answer is, I do not drive the vehicle that much. But now that I noticed it, I reached out to the installer and guess what, they are no longer located in IL and are now in Arizona. So, back to the question I have to ask, can I reapply another layer of the coating or, do I have to wait years before applying again?
That's the 100$ question haha. Usually, if the coating is gone, you should have very slow water sheeting and no water beading. Tell tell signs that there is no protection left.
@@PanTheOrganizer is it ok to leave some of the old coating before renewing with a new coat so sealant? I think it’s virtually impossible to ensure all the old coating is gone, and I would hate to see the new coating failing early if the old coat prevented proper adhesion. As you have said, the most important part of the sealant is the prep work to have a clean surface.
As it's impossible for most to confirm 100% removal, you have to do your best with the polishing stages. Confirm your work after compound and polish by washing the car, and then IPA wipe. Then wet the surface. There should be slow sheeting and zero water beading.
OK Pan, polishing. But you also mention sandpaper for tough coatings. How do you know that after polishing the coat is totally gone? It can not be seen by the eye?
If you have zero water beading left and very slow water sheeting after your polishing steps, that's a visual indicator that there is most likely no protection left.
Dear Pan, I followed every step that you did in the Avalon King video. Thank you so much for the recommendation and advice, everything worked out and my car looks extremely glossssy. Hats off to you man. I’m buying more to use on all my friends vehicles and maybe even my tractor😄.
Although ceramic coatings are amazing. Doesn't it seem like a big liability if you have to water sand the coating off? Although we always start with the least aggressive first, how does one know how much to wet sand off with a ceramic coating that is semi-permanent or permanent? Just sounds like more work and a risk at that. Thank god for Carpro because they make most of their coatings easy to remove with just a simple polish.
Cheers for that one Pan. >> After riding the PH scale to the point where in losing the hydrophobic effect the coating starts to become tired at roughly 14:46, you insert a slide saying roughly 2/52 the coatings properties returned due to self-healing. I have three quessies. Looking at the water, the bug killer seemed to almost exfoliate / rejuvenate, almost a coating deep clean? Would you say all or “not all” were self-healing [given 2 years old] and when the coating became “tired”, at that stage would the use of the same brand topper simply be a topper or in re-bonding would it promote the healing quicker than 2 weeks? [Purely in this example and not discounting correct and regular maintenance]. Would be nice to see though with a meter [perhaps not on your baby] to see the removal cut depth.
Not all coatings are made the same, and I don't know if all or some of them have self-healing capabilities. Through my discussions with Yvan Lacroix, great detailer and ex vice president at Optimum, he told me about the self-healing characteristics of Opti-Coat Pro+ after I filmed the first part of the video. I reached out to him as I knew the coating resisted the entire pH scale, but was surprised to see it weakened by a degreaser. So he told me not to worry about it and that was just due to a chemical residue and the coating would self-heal in a matter of days. Sure enough, a week and two washes later, the properties came back. Hence why I filmed the mini update clip for this video. But for the majority of ceramic coatings, in the course of their lifetime, even if well maintained, they do accumulate a bit of road grime and traffic film, or even salt from the roads or other minerals, that don't always wash off during a maintenance wash. So hydrophobic properties sometimes get lost and a person thinks "Oh my coating is dead!" But that's not always the case. Those oils, minerals and grime sometimes simply mask the properties, and a good way is to use mineral deposit removers, tar removers and iron removers (basically chemical decontamination steps) to restore the properties, as is evident in my year update video for my own coated car here: ua-cam.com/video/ud4wGakuSWs/v-deo.html
@@PanTheOrganizer Given the value of our cars, discounting any labour cost, I think the adage "buy cheap buy twice". As a % of a new car the higher end products give the value long term.
Unfortunately I don’t have an answer to that. The brands don’t mention this as I think they don’t want people to assume their coating will self heal in all scenarios. I just found out when I reached out to the installer of my coating and he had said it will self heal in a few days…
So exactly how much polishing (i.e. fine/medium/coarse pad/polish) is required to remove the coating? I know the answer is going to be it depends on how much coating is left and how thick it is, but what is the best way to figure out what combo you need to use to remove a particular coating but not go too far into the clear coat?
@@PanTheOrganizer if there is no official answer, then how do you know you've removed 100% of the ceramic coating with machine polishing as stated in your video?
Great videos! Really am learning a lot .... THANK YOU PAN! Now a question for a person such as I .... a D I Y'er, retired, on a budget. Hi Pan, great video again. Do you have a tutorial how to identify the ceramic coating shold be removed because reached its lifetime? In your long life tests you check the hybrophobic properties but is there anything else that indicate it? The other thing I am interested is ceramic coat applicatiom errors and how to avoid them. Thanks for the great contenta and tutorial
Hydrophobics are really the only visual indicator. That plus the expected lifespan of the coating you bought. Say you bought CQuartz UK 3.0. If you applied the 2 layers correctly, it should last up to 2 years. So after 22 months (getting near the 24 months durability claim), it would be a good idea to do all the steps all over again, including machine polishing, and start fresh.
No matter what I need to do, know, see or buy in the world of detailing, Pan has a video explanation. So if you have to resort to mechanical means to remove a coating, how do you know when you've polished enough to remove the coating without taking any clearcoat? Also, what happens if you polish a coating but it's not gone and you apply a new coating? Some of the new graphene coatings say they'll stick to anything. I'm redoing a CQuartz UK 2.0. I have Ethos graphene for one car and Adams Graphene for another.
Those are very hard to answer questions. You know you have removed the protection when the paint isn't beading water anymore and when the water sheeting is very slow and flat. But it's almost impossible to just remove the coating, you will be removing a bit of clear coat as well, which is normal, as you are essentially doing paint correction. It would be ideal if you have a paint thickness measurement BEFORE applying the coating, and then get readings as you are going through the compound and polishing steps and take measurements to see how many mils you are removing. But that's a bit over the top. I wouldn't worry too much with that. You wouldn't be doing this very often anyways, as most coatings these days last 2+ years.
As a winter project I already have Armor Shield IX which I will be applying myself, my first install. Since I already have a spray on type ceramic, I thought that the best way to remove it would be with Simoniz pain restoration compounds and my buffer, thanks for the confirmation.

Cut to the Chase~! Buff it off~! lol~!! video shows how resistant ceramic coating can be~! if you want to remove, you decon first then Attack it with polisher~!
Thank you. This was painful when you’re just looking for a solution to remove the shit.
Lol exactly. This is way too much drama.
Yeah I would of just buffed it. It gives off a weird sweet smell as it’s getting burned off
Such a slog just to hear something I already knew. Unfortunate
What if you have matte PPF??
I think most people know you just polish it off for paint, but I actually found this is good video for textured trim, matte paint, and protection films.
This was helpful to for me cause I needed to remove a messed up coating on exterior trim on a Jeep.
You said a long time ago that the only way to remove a ceramic coating was to polish it away and I remembered that coming into the video. Thanks for your work.
It shows that you listen to my videos! That's good. :)
Holy cow! I've been waiting for a new video this entire week but I didn't see this one coming😱 Pan, I gotta tell you this was one serious torture test, I have never seen anyone do this kind of test on UA-cam! Awesome entertainment, see you on the next one👋🏻

Well since you subscribed, let me officially welcome you to the Pan The Organizer family! :)
For waxes you don’t have to remove the previous coat. You just layer.
Thanks!

Ahahahahah!!!! Good one Alvin!
Finally, since when have I been waiting for such a subject approached by you ... Now I sit down and relax, after washing my car after a 2500km road!
Wonderful!
Great video Pan! I do have a question though, do you think that leaving the products sitting on the paint longer, that it would have accelerated the breakdown?
Thanks Paul! A longer dwell time has no effect on a coating like Opti-Coat Pro+ so it doesn't change anything.
Dwell time has zero effect on coatings like Opti-Coat Pro+. Thanks for watching!
@@PanTheOrganizer would you say that is also the case for CQuartz UK 3.0 coming to dwell time?
It must be time to turn in that lease and get a new one?
I wasn't surprised by this result at all. I've heard that Pro Plus basically needs to be wet sanded to be removed fully.
Yeah I’m getting a brand new car this summer. Stay tuned, it will be awesome!

@@PanTheOrganizer usually people like us have no problem selling or trading in our vehicles, more often than not I get, "let me know if you ever want to sell it" from friends and neighbors.
@@PanTheOrganizer what are you going to put on the new car?
These ceramic coatings just blow me away... crazy durability.
Yup!

@@PanTheOrganizer thanks a lot!
I discovered it from UA-cam it self.
Hi Pan, great conclusion. With mechanical action...how do you know when to stop polishing before damaging the original outter paint layer ?
Do a test panel and do a little at a time. You are trying to save your clear coat.
Thanks Waston! And it shows that you listen. Your conclusions are all correct. 👍🏻
Great video my friend, definitely a testament to the coating on how well it held up.
Thanks!
@@PanTheOrganizer Would you still reapply the opticoat pro+ or go with a different ceramic coating?
Great video Pan. I would not have thought that the ceramic coating could have withstood such abuse. Makes for a great selling point for people in future thinking about applying it to their cars. For professional detailers like many of us it makes for a much easier sell. Thanks!!
Thanks Frank! :)
Im with you, also the chemicals werent left to dwell for any amount of time which could play a factor also

Great point! Well said.
Pan, thank you. What do you recommend as compound remover product then in order to remove old ceramic coating?
Pretty much any quality compound or polish will do. I have highlighted my favourites in this popular video: ua-cam.com/video/2JDvQBs1viM/v-deo.html

Well said.

Pan.

Hi Pan, what is the best interior scented product you use? Don't worry about giving a weird answer or even if it smell chemically.
You mean air freshener? Or an interior quick detailer to lightly clean surfaces?
@@PanTheOrganizer Either one bro.
For air fresheners, I would give it to Angelwax Eden and Angelwax Bliss. For interior quick detailers, Lithium InnerSpace and Adam’s Interior Quick Detailer smell awesome.

Another learning information about ceramic coatings... thanks for sharing 👍😎👍
Thanks!
So brave to test it on your BMW. Great video Pan!!!!
Thanks Pradeep! 👍🏻
Toujours au top ! Merci Pan pour cette vidéo.
Merci!
Bonjour Pan!! Great video again. But a true sign of how good your library of videos are? I knew the answer before I watched this video 😁😎
And I’m just a weekender who has seen all your videos. Thanks for all the knowledge and training!!! Merci!!!
That's awesome Steve! It shows that you pay attention. :)
Thanks Pan for a great video! This spring I will be coating my husband's Tacoma with Avalon King. I bought a DA polisher a couple months ago and I'm practicing paint correction on some fenders in my basement 🙂.
Sounds great!
Wow Pan! I would of been pretty worried to try that on my paint! I kind of figured mechanical was the way to go for full removal. I purchased that Avalon King I'm going to try that this spring as soon as it warms up here in Wisconsin.
You’re gonna like that coating Chad!
Another great tips and tricks video from PTO.
Glad you enjoyed it
Hello Pan, another great video!!!
You would have to machine polish the existing coating off before applying a nee one. It’s the only way to ensure 100% removal.
Hi Pan, great video. It looks like I need to polish my coating off. I noticed a high spot. Thanks for the tip. It's right on my driver's door.
👍🏻
Hi Pan, great video! Thank you.
I'd like to ask, when you removing ceramic coating with compound, how do you know when ceramic is gone?
@@PanTheOrganizer Thank you very much 👍
OK Pan, polishing. But you also mention sandpaper for tough coatings. How do you know that after polishing the coat is totally gone? It can not be seen by the eye?
If you have zero water beading left and very slow water sheeting after your polishing steps, that's a visual indicator that there is most likely no protection left.
Yes indeed the man with the plan let’s test on the ultimate driving Machine every day drive forget that test panel I like it
Dear Pan,
I followed every step that you did in the Avalon King video. Thank you so much for the recommendation and advice, everything worked out and my car looks extremely glossssy. Hats off to you man. I’m buying more to use on all my friends vehicles and maybe even my tractor😄.
That's good to hear Louis! You made a good choice. How did you discover my channel by the way?

Amazed on how the coat self healed itself. Pan, which ceramic coating have self healing properties?
This would be a great help.
There is no official answer to this. Too many variables.
What one true Cerramic product do you recommend for a first time user, on what will probably be the last car I will ever own?
I am going to follow all of your and the product mfg directions ..... to the "T" ....... so that my newly bought 2017 Cadillac XT5 will be protected as well and as long as I can possibly do it. Pan, you have exposed us, your viewers, to a ton of good products. But I want to know your one pick to use on my last car. Ceramic is, to me, the way to go. You've very convincingly demonstrated that. Thank you sir!

How did you discover my channel by the way Doug? Thanks for the kind words!
@@PanTheOrganizer ..... the search on UTube pulled you and all your videos up for consideration, along with soooo many others. But to me, your no 'BS' style of presenting the knowledge you have .... stands alone. Really good!
As I mentioned, a new / used car purchased within the last month had me wondering what kind of car care products to use. As a young man I loved to detail cars for friends and my own. But obviously, A LOT has changed since the mid to late 60's. The Cadi I have now is a real "cream puff" and I knew when I drove it home, I'd have to get back up to speed on car detailing. Thanks Pan .... and keep up the good work young man.
Thanks Doug! What’s your favourite video on my channel so far?
@@PanTheOrganizer ..... Very good question! In thinking about that I first have to say this. I am watching (my wife would say 'binge watching') your videos every day for the past 2-3 weeks, to try to learn as much as I can that applies to my vehicle. I have learned a TON of good stuff and for that I will always thank you Pan and give full credit to you by name. But you have a huge channel. So many videos! However, I must say that I am currently watching your video "Who Is Pan?" To be brief ..... simply INCREDIBLE Pan! Truly awesome to allow your video viewers in on who you are. I sincerely commend you young man for your honesty, ethic and letting us know you to some degree. THANK YOU!!!
Hey Pan let's get a 2021 maintenance wash, interior clean and engine bay clean
Another great video Pan always like watching your channel.
Thanks Nathan! What’s your favourite video on my channel so far?
Great video! You’re a brave man subjecting such a beautiful vehicle to this test. I admit being nervous for the car! 😳
Thanks! 👍
As a winter project I already have Armor Shield IX which I will be applying myself, my first install. Since I already have a spray on type ceramic, I thought that the best way to remove it would be with Simoniz pain restoration compounds and my buffer, thanks for the confirmation.
Thanks!
