For anyone who needs advice, I had to draw one particular character I created around 80 to 100 times before she started to look like how I imagined in my mind. This process will take time and I suggest dedicating an entire sketchbook to one character if you can.
@@aphlearntodrawmangaCan you please make a video on how to draw popular anime characters and what to know when drawing and do our own poses with the character
That's an awesome idea. I've been doing something similar with my main oc (my profile picture). I'm almost 30 redesigns in so far and about 5-6 years of development.
I find really thinking about each part of a face really helps. If I go into drawing a face by thinking "a face" it comes out with same face syndrome or is muddled. But if I'm like "angular eyes, square jaw, thick eye brows" then I do that, and next time I draw that character I do that too. A simple thing, once you think to do it.
i have advice get a scetch book put sanding baper underneath only for sketching and when yuo are doing it put it in an artbook so you can put alight underneath and check mistakes
Agian great tips apart of chacther design is just how they look but a personaitly awsell that is most important since that what make you remember them 100% agree. Studying up on chacther tropes and lreaning how to use them and use it effectively or give it new twist is also important. Chacther tropes and story ones are important tools aswell. Studying them cam help imrpove your writeing.
4:06 "why is it so easy?" just to tell from silhouette? because those characters have the advantage of being popular, something a beginner does not have, and inconsistent character drawings are not a result of flawed design, that's just mean that the artist haven't draw that character enough, even pro mangakas, when you compare their character design on chapter 1 vs chapter 100+ they also change.
Hello! I am someone who does want to create comics/manga for a living. I still definitely think my art could use a massive improvement! I was wondering if there are any tips for rendering, shading, facial anatomy, lighting and lineart. I would really appreciate the advice! I also don't have a lot of money as of now, so if there are any reccomendations for any art courses or classes i could maybe take that could be more suited for my financial position as of right now, I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks!
Awesome! We actually have a lot of videos that already cover these topics. You can start from here: No more boring flat artworks! How to Shade Your Manga like a PRO ua-cam.com/video/dzyEWgNIJl4/v-deo.html

I’m great using Toriyama’s and Yusuke Murata’s art style but I somehow just can’t seem to combine them. What’s the solution to that?
Can you combine the style of the eyes with the style of the body/hair from each artist stylized character image?
Try to add to use both methods of anatomy like one part of the body is Toriyama’s and the other’s Yusuke’s
I got Goku & Saitama correct. 2/3
