Michelle is so inspirational... I followed her since day one and seeing her grow like that makes me really happy for her! To others, she might be only a beauty guru here on UA-cam but I'm sure there are so many girls out there who learned so much from Michelle - and it's not just enhancing your beauty by following those tutorials and tips but also how to grow as a person and be happy in life.
Phone,i dont think she was using her phone for chatting w someone, i think she was using it as her note or guide her questions..phones now are not just phone pople, it could be use as a diary, a note pad etc. coz thats what i do....hellow...

I like how they said "circling is a good thing" in the beginning. I have a class and we do circles all the time and it's called restorative Justice and it's an amazing class and helps bring out the positive in everything.

I agree with Brittani, and Michelle rejection is sometimes not a bad thing when something you are weak at and never allow negativity to dampen your spirit, also ruin your thoughts, it depends who you are and never take it seriously

Do you realize how much Michelle Phan wanted that Lancome job? To you it means nothing because you weren't the one 'devastated' when you didn't get the call back. I think Michelle's story was well put and proved a very good point. Not everyone is going to idealistically think: Oh it's a rejection. It helps me learn. A lot of people take rejection to heart and think pessimistically about it. Hence this video was meant to turn NEGATIVITY INTO POSITIVITY.
Kinda unprofessional when the 'host' is paying more attention to her phone half of the time. Just sayin.
Rejection is not always a bad thing, sometimes some things don't suit others or its hard to do these things.
Michelle Phan's piece of advice is really helpful for those fresh graduates who are going to face life and maybe cope with unemployment status. Thank you so much for this video. :)

Michelle is very inspirational, I agree. I've followed her channel for a very long time and she is awesome at what she does. Someone finally noticed her and put her in a TV commercial! I just saw it out of the blue a few days ago while watching TV. I forget what the product was (some kind of drink.) It was really nice cause it showed her different character looks. I didn't know she was a Lancôme's online spokesperson! Nice! The last girl said some really good advice for dealing with "life." It is so true and how I deal with it! Much love and luck to you all!

I have to deal with negativity all the time at work. Not directed at me but just negative comments in general from my boss. I know she is burnt out and going to retire soon but it is so hard day in and day out trying to ignore her when she slams someone for coming in late or calling in sick like they are liars and only she knows best how to run their lives. I've learned though when she gets like that to just shut up and hide because if I say anything she will turn it into an argument.

Sometimes a No helps open a door that helps you to get to your dreams quicker. It is the Universe pushing you in a positive direction. Great work here by telling people that just because you are rejected or told NO, doesn't mean you should stop and sulk. Keep striving to get to where you want to be!!

Okay, I just read more in depth about Michelle and what got to me the MOST out of everything was the way she handled the incident with that depressed 16 year old girl on Twitter. That girl could have killed herself! and then what? Unsubscribing to her.. very disappointed.

Michelle was so inspirational and real in her own old videos on her channel. Since this icon thing she changed and those videos are so fake! What happened to our Mish? I have the feeling she's still the same and she's just afraid to say she doesn't like this whole Icon sh*t because of the money she gets. She's been such a role model for me. We have the same name and she made me love my name because every time I heard it it made me think of her but now it changed. I hope really really bad she'll be herself again and she'll make her old videos. Shame on Icon Network for destroying her personality and making young girls loose their values just for money!
