1. parents have a plan for you? & you don't like it, Do what YOU WANT TO DO.
2. you won't always have the same friends in the end
3. peaking in adulthood is better than peaking as a teen
4.save money while you can, it's always going to be handy
5. your tastes in everything will change the older you get
6.if someone is making your life negative, then dump that person, you don't need that
7.learn new things as much as you can

I'm so sorry to say this, but actually, watching Girl's Guide Q&A series, I always find Michelle Phan's advice the most interesting, realistic and helpful; like, I don't want to listen to the other girls (sorry, again, maybe I'm biased) because what Michelle said is all I need to listen.

Yes for adolescent years U leave ur bubble and want to impress others, but I think u shouldn't copy other people just be you
I would tell my 16 yr old self to not care so much about the silly gossip because after graduation most people don't associate with 99% of their former classmates.
I would also tell my 16yr old self that it's ok that I'm skinny because at the 10yr reunion, most of those girls who were curvy at 16 and had something negative to say about me being slim, they'll be overweight at 28 and I'll still be a size 2.
You guys should do these more often! I love them!
I would have rather seen an organic conversation, maybe more similar to real girl time! You guys should have piled onto a bed with snacks and your phones and just had a normal random conversation about your teen years. It would have been more relatable to actual girl time than passing a stick around.
I'm glad I'm not the only one that thought that. It kinda made them all seem like hippies...
It's just not realistic to how women really interact you know? And it feels so fake! I'd rather see their real spunky personalities!!

I think they are trying to kind of do their version of a Native American talking circle.. I'm Native American and we used to do this with cultural learning classes.
How are you supposed to enjoy it and don't worry about the future when it's happening so fast, like if I don't find myself and figure out everything right now I literally will have no where to go :( I don't know what to do
At the age of 16 for singapore kids, it's a very important year as we are taking our Olevel. So all we do at the age of 16 is we study survive and study. Yup.

TheHannahgf GCSE is a qualification you get in secondary school so you get it at 16

Well. I am 16. So the advice for me have fun, stay with your friends because they are the people who can help you find that happiness easier.
Um. Well, a lot of pretty big stuff has been happening to me recently, makeup apprenticeship offer, gcse exams, and a guy I thought was my friend told me he loves me when I don't feel the same for him.
I guess all I can say is, live life the way you want, but try not to break hearts on the way.

When I was 16, I transferred to a new high school because my family moved. It was so difficult. I really would be having the best time in high school if I didn't move. At the new school, some people gave me a hard time because I was the new student. At the time, I kept telling myself that life would get better because I know that adulthood has so much more to offer me. I was right. I enjoyed college, I went to grad school, have an awesome career now, and most of all, all those who made my high school experience unpleasant are no longer in my life. They don't change a thing in my life. So if I were to tell any 16 yr old an advice, I would tell them to hold their heads up high and look forward to the future because there's so much more in life than high school.

I love this video....I can see it gets some negative feedback, but for me it's the advice that matters....because I am 16 and I ask myself all those questions, I want to grow up and figure things out as fast as I possibly humanly can, but life has a strange interaction with faith and when you are under their influence, you just get twisted around and that happens for the first time when you are 16, so every girl and boy that watches this, has to take Michelle's advice from the video and live life for them and not for their past or future! I wish I can someday grow into the beautiful, wise and caring woman that Michelle and her friends are...! :)

I think it's to avoid talking over someone when they're talking. Cause that would be rude I guess.
I don't agree with the first woman because if you have fun in 16 and not care about anything - you will probably end up having a really bad job if u don't work hard !!! It is okay to do that before 16 but after it is just not okay. Not all of us can be famous without getting education; many of us work hard on it. For me, I work hard in order to get the job I want- not having fun and not care about everything !!! That's when u have to think about ur future!!!

My advice for a 16 year old girl would be to enjoy life, not to believe everything a guy says (hum! Hum!) and make sure you plant the right seeds for your future. Be true to yourself and do not do things to impress others.
