So many Logic Pro tutorials waste tons of time and don’t get to the point. Your explanations are super pro, straight to the point and crystal clear. I learn more in an hour here than in a week on other channels. Keep up the awesome work!
Mikael thank you so much! i have been a mixer and a guitar based songwriter for a very long time but a very limited piano player. Your tips are just so inspiring for me to compose more complex music that till now, has been in my head but with no way to get it out. your channel is amazing truely.
Hello Issie, glad you liked them. Sometimes I feel you need to be a bit of Sherlock Holmes to find all these little tricks in Logic, haha =) Sincerely, Mike
Sir, is there any way I can convert apple audio loops to convert to midi? Also, is there any way to change chords of the loops automatically or manually? Im a ne comer to Logic Pro X. Rgds Suresh John
I saw in your Drummer tutorial video that you had chords displayed at the top, almost like a little chord chart? Is that some kind of automation or are you just using Markers? I really wish Logic had a way to display chords of a previously recorded improv track so that we could play back and SEE what was played to easily add supporting tracks.
Gradually moving from GarageBand to Logic, so these tricks help a lot. Main idea seems to be making good use of the drop-down menus to get things accomplished. Thanks.
Oh welcome to the world of Logic then! =) - You have no idea of how much depth this application has. It is the reason I created this video series with advanced tips and tricks to improve your skills and workflow. Another thing...learning as many key commands (keyboard shortcuts) is a must! ;) Sincerely, Mike
Hello Brian, I am afraid I never used PT. I have been using Cubase, Studio One, Reaper and Reason before. But as of 2014 I am all in on Logic Pro X, which has become my favorite DAW, and therefore I have made sure to dive deep in my learning journey. =) Sincerely, Mike
Hello Stellar, Haha, yes many things in LPX are quite hidden. However, I am not sure exactly which of my 5 tips you are referring to? Is it the "select the notes and see the chords in the upper left area of the piano roll" you mean? Sincerely, Mike
I am not sure you if you should have to activate anything to see it. I don't remember doing that personally. I simply select the notes that make up the chord, and it shows up there in the upper left part of the piano roll as I showed in the video. I assume you already have all advanced tools selected in the Logic Pro X preferences? That's the only thing I can think of right now. =/ Sincerely, Mike
Professional Composers Thank you Mike. I do have all the Advanced Preferences turned on. I searched the Piano Roll View menu, the option wasn't there to activate. Maybe it will be revealed to me in a dream. :-)
If you are part of my logic Pro X for professionals Facebook group, perhaps you can ask about this in a post in there? Someone will probably have stumbled upon this exact issue. Here is the link to my Facebook group if you want to join: bit.ly/2zgoRYP Sincerely Mike

You have no adds on your channel. Why ?
I have to say, Show Chords in the Piano Roll is so well hidden, I can't find it. Where is that Option?
