Sorry if I commented this like a month ago but one of my favorite midi fx is the chord trigger, and wonderful people have programmed 100s of these chord trigger setups and provides a way to play just a root note of each chord and efficiently make progressions! It’s just awesome
True! But then you don't learn how to make chords and start from scratch. You'll be your most creative when you can truly explore music from it's base tonality. Thanks for the comment!

Love it my man! That was the goal of this video. I think the biggest hurtle with being a producer if you've never played an instrument before is not having any theory background. This video hopefully helps with that! Thanks for watching 👍
Perfect. I was considering the purchase of a plug-in that lets you experiment with cord progressions and then gives you guides based on that to rapidly build out complexity, but I thought to myself that their MUST be a way to see ghosted tracks behind the part that you are editing. After poking around in logic for a day or two and not finding it, I decided I would need to set aside some time to do some research. But then like magic your video popped up in my feed (I had not yet begun to look for a method). This is exactly what I needed to know so that I can streamline building out parts. Thanks!
