    people complain about footage being so straight didnt say a word about law and order and the office which are still watched with the entire show camera moving all over the place. yeah i know its intentional but both were hits. just go create.. nice vids bro. i cop the osmo 3 myself and def wull be vlogging and filming with it. i got the freewell snow mist filter also. thanks for the inspiration

      That’s pretty much it. Just go out create! Thank you this an amazing camera. By far my favorite camera. I’m always surprised by the image of the pocket 3. No problem at all.

    I'm using an old school steadicam and glidecam with the pocket 3 for ultimate smooth motion.

    Really enjoy your videos, thanks for the quick tips too, I also find the if I tilt lock the gimbal I have better results, really love the snowy walk you did the other day! Beautiful 😊

      Thanks for the tip :D I used to do that all the time with the pocket 1 actually and it was smooth!

    Can you hike and walk like this full-day challenging trail with Osmo pocket

    • @avpfilms27
      @avpfilms27  4 місяці тому

      For me when you’re hiking you do have to walk carefully. I’ve done some walking hikes. And I did slip probably like 3 times. Granted it was slippery and snowy on different occasion. I made sure to not look at my camera as much.

    Since I play hockey and also ride roller blades, I found a good trick to use my roller blades as "track and dolly" style and it gives super smooth motion.

      That’s awesome! That definitely works anything which wheels always looks ultra smooth!

    appreciate the video - I am not sure why I struggle to master it. I'd be happy if I had your walking video smoothness. Anyway, as always - good stuff. I am going to work on it, I have a big trip coming up and I want to get good footage so I need to get serious about my ninja walk technique.

      It definitely takes a while to get really good with it. It's something I do nearly everyday. Just keep it at!

  • @omarortizytc

    do you keep it at tilt lock mode or just on follow mode when walking?

    • @avpfilms27
      @avpfilms27  10 місяців тому

      I use follow mode because I find my self often panning up and panning back down

    you want to do a video about color matching the a7siii and the op3?

    • @avpfilms27
      @avpfilms27  9 місяців тому

      If I were to do it I would color grade the pocket 3 first then make a lut out of it then paste it on to the sony a7siii. I would probably double the contrast to the a7siii afterwards with curves.

    can't you just eliminate the wobbling in post?

    • @avpfilms27
      @avpfilms27  8 місяців тому +2

      For b roll shots yes! But for walking videos that I do it will take about maybe 20 hours. Because those videos are quite long
