hear me out THR. Lacey Rose should do all the round tables from now on. this woman is a pleasure and for fuck's sake don't let Stephen Galloway come back xoxoxo
Popusoi Alexandrina Word! That man is a horrible interviewer. With Lacey Rose it's much better
Agee, I don't like Galloway and think his interviewing skills are terrible. But you cannot deny his knowledge in film. Just read his articles, for example. Or watch his clips defending foreign films and being fan of foreign directors. The guy knows his shit.
Popusoi Alexandrina I second that! She just really lets the conversation flow and let's the actors pick up from each other so it all just seems cohesive. I also don't mind Stacey Wilson if I'm honest. Take note THR
I absolutely agree. Get rid of the interruptor!!!!!!!!
Amen! To that
I was on a school trip to New York when I was 14, and saw Kevin Bacon at a restaurant. I remember my teacher told us we weren't allowed to say hi, so we just stared at him for like 2 hours until he left.
a bunch of kids staring at the guy from SLEEPERS and THE WOODSMAN
He's a fellow Philly native
Was he waiting tables?
Mel M 🤣
Mel M wow what a awesome memory to have. However many years later. I could still hear your excitement in the situation. How fun. I can picture a group of 30 to 50 kids sitting elbows on the table with chin in hand. And just watching him. Lol
damn Kevin bacon looking fine as hell
OMG, the anxiety from Kevin Bacon when he's talking about the fear of having no work is palpable. It made my chest tighten up.
Bee I felt that too!!! I’m by no means on Kevin Beacons level of success. But I feel good about my work and what it allows me to do and be. I worked my way up the latter. I’m a GM for a hotel chain. I started as a housekeeper/head housekeeper/ laundry lady/ desk attendant/ assistant manager/ General Manager. But I still worry about having to go back to being a entry level employee. Not that I’m doing a bad job. It is just the nature of the industry.
He’s a great actor
@Shaheen Shad
Thank You
@@kkandsims4612 he's from philly
There was no anxiety there.
The women round table: all about representation and equal pay. The men round table: farts. Classic. 😂
Raven Rodriguez so true 😌
what a surprise. Hollywood actresses talking about "equal" pay. ironic
So what you're saying is the radical leftest feminism round tables make you want to blow your brains out?
Simon Hergott why would you watch something that makes you want to blow your brains out? Thats some sadistic bird box shit right there.
Yea kinda depressing tbh
William H Macy has always been amazing ever since I saw him in Fargo but Shameless' Frank Gallagher was his best role yet
Lacey is my favorite host! She brings everyone together in a really warm and welcoming way. It's down to earth and human. THR OPRAH
she's annoying and fake
Yah, yah, ah-huh, ah-huh... That's all she says... Just ask a question, then shut up (!!!)
Just sayin' ... that's how I'd do it
dustylamborghini yeah...she’s a great woman. She gets it.
Mmmmhm.
@@dustylamborghini3577 honestly came here for this, watched a lot and she's always "yah, sure, uh huh" it's very annoying
Didn't see that Agent Cody Banks shout-out coming, but there you go.
I hadn't thought about that movie in 52 years, but now I'm going to fire up the good ol' DVD player and just hit play. Because Agent Cody Banks was probably the last movie I watched.
I haven’t even watched it yet, and I had to like this.
ITS VERY HARD FOR ME TO SEPARATE WILLIAM H.MACY FROM HIS HILARIOUS AND INSANE CHARACTER FROM SHAMELESS
Im gonna watch now
He’s great in Fargo
For me it was weird when i first saw him in shameless. He usually plays clean cut, neurotic characters
😂🤣 right? I've seen him in many other shows, but "Shameless" always inters my mind LoL.
Even when the most famous, intelligent, talented, rich men come together they tell fart jokes.
When the aliens land and we'e trying to find common ground.....Fart Jokes will stop interplanetary war and bring peace between us.
intelligent? oK
I know!!
Intelligent? Low bar.
Thomas Carnacki what if aliens don’t have butt flaps?
These men should make a movie together, Kumail should write it, Kevin directing it and all acting in it.
Thank god! the full episodes are finally dropping.
josh rowland Thank God indeed but I only really like the actress ones. Can't wait until those drop.
Beyonechee when is the drama actresses roundtable dropping??? Lange, Oprah, Kidman, Reese ! 😁
without having seen the women's version I can imagine it will be full of equality issues discussed. Im just not interested anymore and Im a woman. We need to move on.
You'd think we'd be disappointed by a bunch of prestigious actors who keeps talking about farts when attending a THR Roundtable. You'd be wrong.
@Sky Reel Media who works as an artist, always has ego and is narcissistic, psychologically speaking is a fact and is natural in these cases. I do not say that this is wrong, but it is not a good reading on your part what you are saying, you can take a break with some topics for a few minutes. Narcissism exists more or less always in artists.
none of them are using coasters
The hostess is pathetic. Wasted twenty min on farts.
Kumail is the most charismatic, funniest and coolest dude on this roundtable along wth Kevin Bacon. This was fun.
Derek Sunario Kumail? Is that you?
Your biased tho cus your seem south asian from your name
@@martinthomas8955 That's a pretty close minded comment. Also that's bad use of words. Fucking imbicile.
He's so sexy.
This is actually nice. Just a couple of my favourite actors sitting down having a conversation. Minimal crosstalk and no drama.
I'm happy they hired a better interviewer
39:11 After the host carefully avoids spoiling The Good Place, the useless pop-up reveals the twist outright. Smh
Thanks for the warning. I'm not done with that show.
I'd managed to avoid spoilers until seeing that damn popup. Smh
good thing i understood what the pop up meant... bc i saw s1 all in one day. then i saw "supervised" i was XD whatever! i knew from the very beginning, since the moment michael kicked that dog to the sky. better yet, the whole chaos of kristin's characters dream becoming a living nightmare. that scene was funny. i always knew something was off w/michael. but danson's character became a fave of mine in s2. so no spoilers there XD get it???
Thank you -- I actually read this comment before the spoiler and was able to skip it.
Your comment saved viewers of the future from spoilers and we delegation thank you.
Gotta love a round-table where nobody's had to be cancelled in the years since. Gotta love these gentlemen.
I literally snorted at the Agent Cody Banks reference
It’s so amazing to see the people that are so often idolized just shooting shit around a table, goes to show just how human all these people are. Love this series
Well there not from mars are they.
It's almost like they're human
i was like: Kevin Bacon among commedian actors? Ok, let's watch it.
He is funny, but I am unsure what comedic role got him on this panel.
@@TitoTimTravels that's the point of the surprise. He's not a comediant.
I absolutely love mature comedy! The delivery of Kevin Bacon, Ted Danson, and William H. Macy is simply earned!
One of the better roundtables I've seen. LOL @ Brian and Anthony good-naturedly going at each other.
Also silicon valley is one of my favorite shows to ever come out
Now I'm going to watch Atlanta for Brian Tyree Henry, I loved him on this roundtable !
That lady saying "mhm" and "Yep" a million times is driving me crazy
I meet William H Macey in Alabama and to this day he is one the most kindest person I have EVER meet
none of them are using coasters
Miles Conway haha, I noticed that too. Why though?!
6 degrees isn’t a joke, it’s a game about how amazing you are literally 6 degrees from almost every actor to exist in our time. That’s amazing!
Omg the Nickerson Gardens part had me rolling! 😂
Does anyone else find Kumail Nanjiani very attractive or is it just me?
he's married so it's definitely not just you.
....what if it is just him?
Anthony Palmerio More for me then. 😁
oh he is one charismatic muthfucka!
Kumail is a hottie! And so funny too. ❤
‘What are the 14 spices in the original recipe? So that I can go home and make it.’~~Anthony Anderson 🤣🤣🤣
Anthony Anderson was really coming at Brian Tyree Henry with the jokes.. but Anthony didn't know that Paper Boy claps back !
All the way from South Africa, I really love this.... I could listen to a podcast of this kind of off the cuff talk!
Anthony was teasing Paperboy a little too hard. He was in the original Book of Morman; that's huge!
He just mad Paperboy made it to the MCU 😂
Anthony Anderson has such an energy
Imagine Jim Carrey sitting around that table.
They have an episode with Jim Carrey and other comedians, check it out
Yes finally full episodes. Keep them coming!!
great roundtable but when are we going to get the executives with the studio heads of Disney, Universal, Warner Brothers etc now that would be interesting
Never
@@L2THEC1 actually they did an studio executives roundtable. Research before commenting.
What would be the point? You wouldn't get a straight answer from any of them.
It's out now.....if you're still interested
@@anthonywarren9885 Research before commenting lol it came out 6 months ago not when he commented a yr ago
lol! When Ted realizes he has graduated to creepy old man. I nearly cried!
I want to see Brian and Kumail in a show together! They seem to genuinely like each other :)
Well your wish has been granted
Why would you spoil the finale of The Good Place after the host cleverly dodged giving it away? That's so stupid
ikr FUCKSAKE
I still missed it, lol.
Kevin Bacon seems to never age much, he's 61! Does anyone remember the 80's movie Quick Silver? Kevin was this kick ass biking on a 12 speed ...lol
Wish I could here more from Wiliam H Macy, he's got great stories.
6 Degrees of Kevin Bacon is more of a testament to KB's prolific career if you ask me...
Yes!! Comedy Roundtables are always insightful and fun to watch
It wasn't the preview, it was the whole movie.
William is the classiest and most underrated actor at that table.
Osvaldo Castanon completely opposite from Frank Gallagher
Yeah, he's so classy that he helped his step daughter cheat on a college entrance exam. Do you not know what's happening in the world???
@@anthonywarren9885 Even if that's true, who cares? Learn to separate the art from the artist. He's an amazing actor, what's it matter how he lives his personal life?
Probably one of the best roundtables that I've seen
I really enjoy when actors just talk about their job, their discipline and their work and not about politics.
This is one of the best of these I’ve ever seen. And “114th and Success” is a Great title for a book!
Oooh...to be a fly on the wall in this room packed full of amazing, comedic actors. Thanks to videos! Great host 👌
Not sure I was prepare to witness this level of intamacy talk between guests, however it's always nice to hear famous stars share moments of themselves and their intensive film career! #2023 ❤🧡💛💚💙💜
Every single actor, stellar . Love this table.
Such an amazing table! The interviewer is amazing as well! Actually letting them speak.
That last line during the fade-out at the table, Oceans '70. I'd love to watch this group do a caper movie set in the 70s! Great roundtable, as usual, Hollywood Reporter!
Best roundtable so far
This is the most hilarious roundtable ever!
Did they really talk about balls & farts for over five minutes?
I'm 8 minutes in, and it's still about fart stories.
I f-ing love it.
this is the best one I have seen
Kevin bacon is one of those actors that I'll watch the movie before I even know what the film is about if I know he's in it!.
Him and kurt russell for me….my two favorite actors
At the very end 58:25, they were saying that they should do a movie together and I THOUGHT the host/interviewer said "WE should do a movie together!" Instead of "YOU should do a movie together!" And I was... "no she didn't😂😂😂" and I had to rewind it to make sure she actually didn't 😂
these are so refreshing! Saturday nights made right. Subscribed!
Kumail and Brian both being Marvel superheroes in ‘Eternals’ now is EVERYTHING 😍😍
The comment i was looking for
I can picture them all hanging out and being friends! Great table talk!
Nothing I say will improve this awesome show!!! Thanks soooooo much to all that are responsible in producing it!!!!
This has to be my favorite roundtable, they tell such interesting, funny, and insightful stories that makes you want to watch it more than once.
Great guest great host best round table ever
Very fine actors who waited patently/polity, while giving a smart offering of interesting points... and then their was Anthony Anderson.
Jim Carrey should've been at this one.
"It was meeeeeeee!!!!!!!"
- about the farts
Wow. Anthony Anderson has done a lot.
Did anybody catch when Brian Tyree said “distingWASHED” talking about Idris?
Great roundtable 😊
Here come the Roundtables
They are so candid with one another. Theyre all like old friends... just being honest with one another. Its refreshing and you almost forget that they are these amazing actors that are so beyond our purview
this was so good
first 10 min feels like Kumail is the host and honestly I'd love to see Kumail in all of these
I've watched 3 so far, the authenticity in their personal character
I'm 5 years behind but this was a great and one of my fav round tables
These conversations give me hope
Love this group
Did they finally fire Stephen Galloway? Please someone say YYYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The032387 he usually does the oscar tables
I hope that changes in November when they start airing segments. This lady never really interrupted. Very foreign territory.
I like it when they drone on. It's natural and very interesting to listen to them talk about their modus operandi and their experiences, completely unfiltered. No BS. Watch last year's Oscar roundtable, and see if you're not completely transfixed on every story that Jeff Bridges tells. That's a 40-year veteran schooling the youngsters and it's amazing until Galloway throws a wet blanket on everything.
I like Galloway
part1 part2 There's something called editing. Sometimes it's more interesting to see where the conversations go organically. Galloway is a good journalist. He has angles and qns prepared - that's helpful in crafting a piece because he'll cut through the bullshit. On a panel I prefer a moderator that is both prepared but also willing to go with the flow of conversations. It makes for a more enjoyable discussion IMO.
I grew up watching Anthony, Kevin and William. I really want to meet William though. I just love him.
My favorite thing Ted Danson has done since Cheers was CSI
Omg I’m so glad he asked what he was saying the NICKERSon cause I was not hearing that.
very cool insights.
greatness
These are the only UA-cam videos I like before even watching!
Raise your hand if you forgot Anthony Anderson was in The Departed 🙋🏽♂️
She is so much better as host than the English guy was.
Brian and Anthony are precious. Lol! I love that.
Excellent
hilarious conversation.
Good questions!
such a great round table.
So good
kevin bacon in the woodsman was really good
Frank!!! And Anthony Anderson! I love them both
What a great table
Yoooo this is the funniest of the roundtables I'm waf🤣
This was really cool! x'D
James Bond reboot with Kumail would be pretty amazing, honestly.
YES!
He does look like James Bond!
I don't think I could take him seriously. He's been in too many comedies and I feel like his voice is too high for a character like that.
