Bullshit.. If you've ever done press, you know that there is a seriously limited amount of time to address all these artists, and have everyone answer the same question. They need to get some questions in and get to the point. If you just want actors talking, there are plenty of other channels for that. This is HR Roundtable, so it is exactly that, a round table with several people who all need to be addressed within a certain amount of time. Every minute that goes by money is being spent, they need to move on to the next segment. There's nothing wrong with Galloway, which is why he hosts every single one of these. He knows how to revel in a nice moment, but then also to cut it off and move on.
What exactly are you calling bullshit on? And there's a lot wrong with Galloway, as plenty of people have pointed again and again over the years; his habit of interrupting people is deeply unprofessional not to mention rude and pointless. Why ask questions in the first place if you cut people off at the punchline. There's no enjoyment for a lot of us, when someone (usually an experienced storyteller) has to move on/let an interesting story or anecdote drop just when it was getting to the end point. If he wasnt executive editor, he would have been taken off the roundtables long ago (viewers have been complaining his inexplicably bad manners since almost the beginning of these roundtables), which he seems least suited for. Something sometime moderator Stacy Snider is excellent, imo. _She_ managed to let the participants answer questions _and_ move on to the next thing without rushing anyone or being an interrupting ass.

52:30 is such a lovely moment. Andrew and Dev revelling in the beauty of "Moonlight" right across from Mahershala. Overall this is just one of the warmest groups of actors I've seen from THR's roundtables. At least in my opinion. From referring to each other's comments, to addressing each other and each other's films directly, to the shared reverence towards Jeff and his endearingly open reaction to that, it was a joy to watch this. I even think Galloway did well on this one, at least in comparison to other times. And I know that's not saying much because it's been quite awful before, but he let things flow more often than not. I know next to nothing about acting, yet I keep coming back to these conversations, and this is certainly a favourite now. So, thanks, THR! (And thank you for getting Dev and Andrew to sit together, I'm in love wow)
you can tell dev patel is a wonderful human being just by how genuinely he listens to everyone. i always tell people listening is a skill. a great and much needed skill to have.
I loved what Andrew Garfield said about big studio films taking the whole heart out of the movie and not taking the opportunity to deliver a special message to millions of young kids. There's exceptions, just like Jeff Bridges said, but usually money will dictate the final product as opposed to art and a meaningful message.

I couldn't believe it when he mentioned Tangerine! Nobody talks about that movie anymore, it's one of my very favorite films in past few years along with Whiplash.
Jeff Bridges has that voice, where if his character gets emotional, his voice takes the viewer down with him to that feeling and emotion. Such a monumental talent.
That hurt to hear Dev Patel that he "doesn't get parts like these" Casey Affleck also seemed taken aback, it's something everyone knows but not vert spoken about Maybe, that's also why Dev was so happy to be here, to be considered an equal among these actors which must not happen that often
i came here because of dev patel but i'm glad i discovered how brilliant Casey Affleck is. i usually dislike the showbiz, gossip and this aspect of Hollywood but he's got a wonderful dialectic.
Why don't they just remove the interviewer and let the actors ask curious questions themselves... honestly. I'm sure they have many things to talk about. It'd be much greater to watch a conversation unfold instead of such a systematic interview. Maybe give em some pre made questions or something to guide them, but otherwise...¿¿¿? (a lot of people seem to dislike this interviewer anyway...)
I disagree. One of the purposes of having the interviewer present is to be a moderator. He allows everyone to share in the experience, instead of having someone or a few overpowering the conversation, which will happen due to there inherently being some stronger or more aggressive personalities, as well as there being a limited amount of time for all to take part. I think he does a great job in making sure everyone is sharing in the experience, and no one is getting lost in the background.
This roundtable was simply amazing. The harmony between the men, the bromance, the flow and charisma. I was drawn to everyone and glued to the screen the whole time. Also, as someone else mentioned in the comments, it would be lovely to see interaction between actors and actresses as well. How I wish these roundtables were available year round and also on other types of channels where there would be scientists, doctors, teachers, even the most average common people included, where they'd discuss various things.
This interviewer is really disrespectful, seems like he just wants to get all the questions finished before time is up. Hated how he interrupted them, especially with Casey, Jeff and Mahershala.
I feel like Mahershala Ali is always the smartest person in the room. He is so incredibly thoughtful and the way he speaks really draws me in more than the others.

You need to be quiet, nobody's interested.
He's so overrated in this film, same for the movie itself tbh
If Galloway doesn't interrupt your ass, it ain't a real THR Roundtable. Shit has gone from annoying to hilarious.
I think a roundtable with both male and female actors together would be really interesting.
Ayla Avant totally agree! No idea why they get separated based on gender. It is ludicrous!
FemBot i think its because of the category basis of the awards i.e best "female" or "male" actor in a "x".
this is why the directors, TV, etc, are usually not separated by gender. when it's awards season, they get as many of the nominees for each category for a roundtable.

Jeff Bridges has that voice, where if his character gets emotional, his voice takes the viewer down with him to that feeling and emotion.
Such a monumental talent.
Jeff Bridges is just the coolest dude, true example on how to stay young at any age.
I want Dev to look at me how he looks at the other actors.
Every time Jeff Bridges is speaking I just can't help but have a huge smile on my face, the dude is amazing.
That hurt to hear Dev Patel that he "doesn't get parts like these"
Casey Affleck also seemed taken aback, it's something everyone knows but not vert spoken about
Maybe, that's also why Dev was so happy to be here, to be considered an equal among these actors which must not happen that often
I loved Bridges and Garfield in this, they came across as vulnerable, sincere, and there's a sweetness and warmth to them
Look how far Anwar has come. So proud of him.
fá omg anwar Xd
Ah shit now I gotta go back and watch Skins again
i came here because of dev patel but i'm glad i discovered how brilliant Casey Affleck is.
i usually dislike the showbiz, gossip and this aspect of Hollywood but he's got a wonderful dialectic.
When Casey stared at the interviewer to let Jeff finish his story lol
The way Dev takes it all in. He's such an attentive listener
Agreed, he's awful
Actors on Acting
completely agree. This kind of show doesnt need a presenter
I love this idea!!
Love the way Dev Patel looks and listens when the others are speaking. So touched by how humble and sweet he is xx
love Andrew and Dev, they seem so experienced even though they're just starting
Mahershala Ali is so still! It's incredible
When Ali starts talking about fear of the unknown, and Bridges goes "yeah man" yo, that's already chemistry for the big screen.
Andrew Garfield is such a wonderful actor and I'm so glad he is getting better roles now
2 yrs later and hes winning awards now
I can't take my eyes out of Dev 💜💜💜💜
I LOVE that they got Mr Bean to do all these interviews! He rules.
lmao. he does criminally look like Mr Bean.
He's like a cross of Mr Bean and Jeremy Irons :D
LOL
i think you nailed it.
Dudley Moore
Dev is very young.just 26.Cast Dev and Andrew in a film.
These actors have a profound respect for one another's work and they are engaged and enlightened by each other's answers. Great roundtable!
Brilliant. Mahershala Ali was breathtaking.
Dev Patel and Andrew Garfield are gorgeous, I’ve never seen people listen so beautiful.
i love seeing actors get along like friends...Don't know why😂
Aww Mahershala got such a kick out of Jeff! His grins were so cute! I want them to do a drama together!
Casey hated the interviewer...
Nah, that's just Boston.
@@senthilvelan544 :D
We all do
Don't think so. 🤷🏼♀️ He just hasn't got Dev's "loving" gaze!
Is that Mr. bean?
lmao notice casey's face when jeff bridges brings up nepotisim
Garfield dissed The Amazing Spiderman in the classiest way possible. 😂
When?

Jeff Bridges thinking: 'why the fuck am I here?'
Really enjoyed this enlightening talk. Jeff bridges is class act. Dev Patel listened so intently. Even the very serious Casey affleck opened up.
This interviewer is really disrespectful, seems like he just wants to get all the questions finished before time is up. Hated how he interrupted them, especially with Casey, Jeff and Mahershala.
perhaps, but that's the job of an interview is to guide the conversation, and allow everyone to talk, and not let one person dictate the conversation.
I feel like Mahershala Ali is always the smartest person in the room. He is so incredibly thoughtful and the way he speaks really draws me in more than the others.
So happy for Dev! Saw Lion at the cinema... Brilliant.
Their faces when Jeff Bridges talked... respect to a master
