Super interesting! I have been using chatgpt already, but haven't thought about rambling everything I want to express. So this was super helpful and keep em coming!
Kinda like this, programming is essentially communicating precisely with a computer but also with future programmers who read your code. If I write some complex code I sometimes copy-paste it into ChatGPT and ask it if it is clear and readable code- and how I could improve it. Obviously just like with what you showed in this video- it recommends some things that aren't useful to me, or just aren't my style, but it also sometimes recommends some valuable stuff I can pick out of it.
I'm currently familiarizing myself with the MBTI cognitive functions and your reasoning reminded me a lot of extraverted thinking. Are you familiar with the 16 Personality Model and their cognitive functions? if not I think you’ll find it interesting, thanks for the video it was interesting to get to know your thinking habits, keep the flow going, Idahosa 🌊
yes i invested several years nerding out on MBTI and the jungian ideas its based on. I'm actually an extroverted intuitor and introverthing thinking, and extraverted intuition tends to be rambly and exploratory, which is why i find this tool so useful in helping me find the clarity and precision my introverted thinking constantly strives for.
Hi Idahosa, been following you for a while and while I definitely agree with you regarding your perspective on the benefits of clarifying thinking, I'm not sure what the key step to achieve it is in the video as you demonstrate it. I.e., how does ChatGPT as a means of clarifying language thought translates into more ergonomical language expression over time? So far I could say that all that it proves, is that ChatGPT is good at the clarification, and that it can provide elements that refine the thought such as new vocab or concepts, but there's no guarantee that those stick around. I think it's a matter of where to draw the line when it comes to do the heavy lifting yourself, or outsource it to IA.
today i had a conversation with a friend who was extremely insightful and articulate. I would express myself, and then she echoed back her understanding in different words, and the mere act of me hearing her express the thoughts i was getting at in a different and articulate way, led me to more clarity around the ideas. And if i were to explain the same ideas again to another person now, i would do so slightly better. I experience the same thing when i read a book or listen to a podcast by someone who is extremely insightful and articulate, but I'm not able to engage podcast or book the way I would a human. AI represents the merger between the two - it's extremely insightful and articulate, like a good author, but it's also interactive, like a real human. But even more than that, it's infinitely patient, so i can ramble as much as I want. It doesn't replace live interaction with a human, or doing solo thinking on your own, but it undoubtedly enhances the process. After using it for several months now, I am way more articulate and knowledgable on subjects i would not have been otherwise. Hope that answers your question!

This is my first time at your channel I feel like I want to listen more to what you are saying.
Pretty cool.
Interesante! I wonder which app you use? Do you have the link or name since there are several GPT apps ❤
This looks like OpenAI
