Replacing 5th gen Toyota 4runner tail gate handle and pull frame panel (2010-present)

Here’s a brief video showing how to remove and replace the tail gate lift handle(button) and frame from a 5th gen 4runner. If this piece breaks, you will not be able to lift the tailgate with the “gate pull/door pull”.

Where did you buy the bracket/housing for the liftgate button to sit in? Can you give me a link or part number?

The part has to come from Toyota, but it is not included in their parts diagram. Luckily I was able to use the clips still so I didn’t have to replace the mount for the tailgate switch
