Nice quick review dude! I have one of these, it sounds fantastic. Really like it!
I measured the neck:
Nut: 42.2 mm
Thickness 1 fret: 20.8mm
Thickness 12 fret: 22.3
The neck feels great! Although I would prefer a slightly thicker and C shaped neck with a little bit less shoulders. String action is fantasticly low, fret work is very good and the frets surface felt a little rough in the beginning, but improved after some time playing.
The gigbag they sent me is the best one I have ever seen (actually prefer it instead of the hard case).
The guitar is quite ressonant and live. I love the texture, but even more the tone! These guys know how to make a really good sounding guitar.
They have been improving the communication - they missed some emails I sent them in the past (understandable since they have such a small team), but now I don't have any problems.

Credit where its due to em £899 with the bag is good, whats the upcharge on the hiscox case?
Would still be hard pushed to buy from them as I dont like them as a company. Sucks too as the guitars do actually look cool and if your playings owt to go on they sound feckin huge!

It's always good to have stuff that reminds us of our folks, bloody tough at times though. Me Grandad were from up that neck o woods and always loved listening to him talk, its a proper way of talking is that :)

I’m curious what you don’t like about them as a company?
@@synveng mis leading marketing (i am going back a couple of years here) when challenged over it you get nothing but arsey remarks from the company themselves, but they have since changed the marketing which is odd since its deemed ignorant to ask questions... like I said not a fan of the company.
It's unfortunate as the stuff they put out does look really good (if not a bit hit n miss but that could be shops mishandling products or setting up poorly).
These are an absolute belter of a deal though at that price.

Oh mate, yeah it is. It would have been my dad's birthday recently so I've been thinking about him a lot. But every time you think of your folks it's a good thing isn't it, I'm grateful I get to remember him how he was. It really is a proper accent!
You're too kind for saying that mate, I really appreciate it. The tone on the demo is a little bit of room mic mixed with the guitar through Fortin Cali Suite (I think) but loads of the lifting is the pickup. It sounds mega! Thanks again 🤘
