You do realize that I'm talking about standard cars right? A stock R34 GTR Vspec is comparable to an NA2 NSX-R, and is probably down to the driver. The NSX-R has superior handling characteristics, and the GTR has a broader powerband due to it being turbo-charged. You're talking about an aftermarket modified R34 Nismo Z-Tune with 500hp that was being used as the camera car in that particular video. That is well beyond a regular R34 GTR in power and suspension set-up, not to mention brakes etc.
There was something wrong with the R34 for sure. It would be interesting to see how it would do, but my guess is NSX-R will beat it like usual. R34 would probably be 4th behind NSX-R, then STi/Evo after that.
The Gentlemans agreement ruined the NSX being produced with the much needed HP. The Chassis is capable of over 350 easy. I wish the R34 didn't go into Limp mode or whatever.
Not if you tune it properly for track like the amuse supra. Supra drag and power thats not all it does lol it could do more than that plus it was in the gt300 and the super gt sponsored by toms and more plus orido owns a supra that is good for tracks, drift, and speed. Think before you talk boy.
Motoyama passed every NSX-R in "NSX-R Mega Battle". Tsuchiya won the race only because the R34 was the camera car. If Motoyama was in the race, the GT-R would've won.
Something wrong wit r34..it could get the lead once the race starts coz it hv a good acceleration n speed on the cornering.... Probably ...the r34 driver is quite "fresh" to this car... Anyway ...good race XD
