The Venturi deserves WAY more respect than it gets -- the F40 was faster on the straights, but even though the Venturi was a bit twitchy at the limit, if you're a good enough driver to handle it, it will reward you with very fast times! I think it was probably the most capable car in the corners of the bunch.
Exactly ! The Venturi would be able to last longer and maintain its overall performances for many laps, where the f40 is already starting understeer after only few laps. It reminds me of a TV reportage, where experts where talking of concept cars and prototypes, that never made it to a mass limited production. Such as the Peugeot Oxia, which have only been produced at 2 units, and never been sold. According to the experts interviewed, if Peugeot didn't hesitate on it, the Oxia would have been the fastest car in the world back then, in front of the f40 and all other supercars. The 2 units they produced, proven these points, by showing performances above anything else at the time, bringing technologies which where ahead of their time on a car.

@@bricechampagnay8147 It seems like you're not aware of the truth about the PRV engine. The PRV engine is still the record holder of the fastest engine on the 24 hours of LeMans, and maybe from any other races in the world. Holding the absolute speed record clocked in a competition. Also Peugeot was planning on producing a supercar called Oxia back in 1985, which was putting out 700 HP out of the detuned racing PRV engine. Sad that the only ruf they got was the br2, which is just a tad more than a normal turbo… to keep up with monsters like the f40 and the Venturi we would have needed a ctr2 probably, then it was a fair race
I'd take the Venturi over the F40 any day!!
I really have a soft spot for early no wing Diablo's though 🤷♂️
f40 gave no fucks at the start
Muy bien NSX, hiciste un gran trabajo, aun que no ganáramos.
Why a regular Diablo with all the other over-tuned cars? The Diablo GT would have been a better candidate for this race.
Gran Turismo? ?
venturi!!!!
Venturi go ! go ! go !!
How the hell is the RUF shifting gears??? No clutch pedal but H pattern shift???
That MR2 driver was on Fire mode with the 4 inline of Toyota...
Who the fk lined up this audio?
lol... the mr2 is a tuned track car with 400hp, the the silver 911 is tuned by ruf, and the blue 911 and nsx-r are both inhouse factory tuned street/race
昔ですが、F40に煽るられた経験が有りますが、怖恐怖と感動が入り乱れた思い出が有ります!
Venture…GRAN TURISMO 2
最後のタイムアタックの結果を見ると、ガンさんが乗ったら車はポルシェが速いんですね。
I'm a simple man, i saw 400gt, i clicked.
I’m assuming all of these cars are stock
no not the mr2, and ruf isn't truly stock, it's basically a modded 911 from the factory. cool race!
Isn’t this commentator Saeba Ryo?
of course but thats beyond the point you said they are all stock but theyre not
F40 most comfortly speeding that track.
Only watched till 2.33 and couldn't stop myself from stating that that ferrari F40 is worth well over a million pounds now and what a launch ....Yasssss.
Holy sh*t the two porsche drivers defo have clenched buttocks!!!!....pmsl
I don't recall ever seeing the Venturi 400 GT. Off to Google. Btw, the air gap on its front end is atrocious.
Everyone pushing like hell, the F40 at a day in the park
Why is it that It seems like only the Japanese actually put these sort of events together.
Had the Japanese government never mandate limitations to horsepower and top speed, the Euros would have a bad time.
