    Love all this new gear that we can carry with us in a single case and they sound good finally.

    I got to try this. I like running wet/dry with two cabs. I have been using two heads. This looks to be a great answer.

    Man, I remember attending a guitar clinic with Blues Saraceno when he was like 20 years old and had just won the Guitar Player "Player of the Year" contest!

    Others have dabbled in the stereo market. It’s good if your going with stereo inputs straight into the front of house or recording. But the whole stereo experience is lost on everyone seated /standing to the left or right of the stage. Your mileage may vary

    We need this in LATAM distributors, the shipping from USA is just outrageous

    I wonder if these will be in stock sometime this year. They've been listed as out of stock for months.

      They're in stock again. We sold out of the first batch almost immediately.

    I wish SD would do a video to tell/teach newcomers how to connect it at home/studio setup. It seems to me (could be wrong) that pro would really know how to connect to cabinets or PAs.

    • @seymourduncan
      @seymourduncan  7 місяців тому

      It's really easy! The most common method is to use the XLR outs to go direct into an interface or mixer (which is what we recommend).
      Less commonly, you can run the speaker outs through a load box and into your interface or mixer. Or, if you want to use your own cabinets, you can connect the speaker outs to your cabinet(s) of choice and then mic the cabinets!
      Here's a link to the manual if you have more questions, or feel free to reach out to our support team: www.seymourduncan.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/Powerstage-100-Manual_RevA_Web_V2.pdf

      @@oldtimer99 It's literally a power amp, so yes it can power speaker cabs.

    You should have made a demo video. We all know this stuff already on pairing down and having a lighter rig. Just so us what it can do and how it does it. Or give me one and I'll make the damn video and post it as a real world use case. I'll even plug in a Mooer Preamp Live to it and simplify the setup

    What cabs would Blues be using here? Sounds great.

    Are the two inputs and outputs independent from each other (except that the same EQ setting is shared when it's engaged)? Is it even possible to run the signals of two different guitars through left and right channel?

    • @seymourduncan

      It's designed for guitar, but yes it will work for bass. We've got quite a few gigging and recording bassists using the PowerStage.

    Anyone using one of these with a Fractal FM 9 and how do you like it and do you use with traditional cabs , FR Speakers, or PA Speakers or what?

    • @seymourduncan
      @seymourduncan  3 місяці тому +1

      Lots of folks use these with Fractals! You can use PowerStage 100 Stereo with any of those setups-it's extremely versatile. It can power passive cabinets and FRFR speakers, or can be routed directly to a mixing board or PA through balanced outputs.
      If you use with a traditional cab (or if you have your own cab IR to use with FRFR speakers or PA), you'll probably want to turn off the cab sim built into the PS100S.

      @mrhyde2250 10 місяців тому +1

      According to the literature, the bass knob acts more like a resonance knob. 🤷‍♂️ Orange says that treble and bass knobs on their Pedal Baby are more like resonance and presence as well.

    This whole 'stereo' thing is overrated for sure. Unless you're in the very middle of that, it's lost for the most part. I like the 'idea' of it though! It sure sounds great when it's just you on stage! Ha!

    • @seymourduncan
      @seymourduncan  7 місяців тому

      Stereo isn't for everyone, but we think it can be really effective live and in the studio!
