Thank you for this heart felt reaction. Chris, Price, Tom Petty and so so many more left us to young and are greatly missed. We live on with their music and memories if any of us seen them preformed. It was an awesome action. ❤️✌️
He had a unique way of singing from his stomach instead of like most do from the diaphragm. Christina Aguilera was considered one of the few people to hit a F6. There was a song not released by her record company cuz they believed people could not sing along to that octave, so it was taken off of her album. She was considered one of very few people that could hit that note. Chris could actually go higher than her and the fact that he was a male singer made it inconceivable to most. He was literally born to sing and there will never be anyone one that could imitate his raw talent 🖤
I don't know about anybody else. But obviously we all cry when we hear this. Sometimes i think i'll make it till the end without crying and i hear that final chord and "To you". Hail Chris, fucking hell :(
👏 Yes to this I understand why reactors ALWAYS react to nothing compares 2 U seeing as it's a Prince R.I.P tribute but I would like just one reactor to react to Fell on Black Days from the same acoustic Sirius XM radio set Chris's R.I.P vocals singing that song gave me chills especially when he hits the high notes ✌💕
I love the younger generation digging and getting into the voices that we grew up on...I mean Prince nailed that song and was one of my favorite songs when he did it (next to Starfish and Coffee that is). Chris Cornell made it so soulful man.
He makes it look so effortless. RIP. Chris Cornell. Such a beautiful soul. I still think one of the best created songs ever is Hunger Strike from Temple of a Dog.💯👏
See... You go into this with all the confidence in the world. But you are left speechless. for a while. Then there is a second wave that comes later when you realize that you are not going to see this man again....
He was with Temple of the Dog, Soundgarden and Audioslave. He did a bunch of solo stuff too. Check out his album called Euphoria Morning. Dinkin flicka.
Chris has been my favorite artist for 25 years. It’s great to see someone experiencing him for the first time. Lots of layers here, keep peeling. Thanks for doing this, I enjoyed it.
He was a lyrical master in anything he sings.he could write a song about toilet paper and make you love it.thats how good he is.ive been on this journey for 30 years and I'm sad as hell he's gone.R.I.P Chris cause nothing compares to you baby
R.I.P legend. Best male vocal voice of that generation. My absolute favorite. I cant get through this song without tears. Same with "Say Hello To Heaven"
Chris Cornell did an amazing version of MJ's Billie Jean too. You should check it out. You kind of forget it's actually a sad song and just want to dance to it in MJ's version. But in Cornell's- you KNOW it's sad. It gave me chills the 1st time I heard it. He did it solo, just with his guitar. Lost a treasure in Cornell... 🤘 🌬🙏👣🤲>🥺 RIP Chris
I know you keep saying you're new to listening to Chris, but just so you know, as a longtime fan...I appreciate that you can appreciate what we've known. He was a beautiful soul. The song of an angel and an amazing human being. #RIPChris #LoveForeverChris
The fact that the song is one of the most melancholy, heart wrenching songs ever written makes it hard to listen to, to begin with...couple that with Chris' untimely death and the fact that this particular performance showcases his voice like no other. I could barely listen. But I did. We grunge rock lovers have been tested with almost all of our genres singers having passed away. And of course, the writer of the song, the magnificent Prince, gone as well. All combined, it's heartbreaking. But still irresistible to listen to.
Couple reflections on this......hard not to tear up every time I see this version. what a great loss.......also Prince. People forget what a great songwriter he was. Another great loss.....
Right on Chris Cornell is a legend. R.I.P. Audioslave kicks ass!! I am the Highway”. “Show Me How To Live”. Are all amazing songs to react too! Also one group to shake things up a bit is “Prong” song is called Snap your fingers, snap your neck” I dig your channel man!
Chris was a true, I am probably older than most of your viewers, I was in my in 20s when Soungarden was at their height, " Spoonman" by them was one of my favorites.
Chris Cornell posted a link to his version the day after Prince's death. In an accompanying message, he wrote: "Prince's music is the soundtrack to the soulful and beautiful universe he created, and we have all been privileged to be part of that amazing world. I performed his song 'Nothing Compares 2 U' for the first time a couple months ago. It has a timeless relevance for me and practically everyone I know. Sadly, now his own lyrics in this song could not be more relevant than at this moment, and I sing them now in reverence as I pay tribute to this unequaled artist who has given all of our lives so much inspiration and made the world so much more interesting. We will miss you Prince!!!"
Straight up, The G.O.A.T Voice like no other!! Incredible song writer Incredible catalogue Aweaome musician (guitarist, drummer, etc...started off as a drummer even before singing) A pioneer....The Grunge O.G. .. Versatile, true to self artist, SOUL... Revered by fans AND other musicans alike And even this video right here ....This is 20 years past his full vocal powers..... Listen to him live from like 1992-95....He was blowing down buildings
This shows the unique qualities of his voice and how effortless he makes it look to be on pitch like 100% of the time... but it doesn’t show his insane range. I do love this video though.
I love to see someone hear a song with heart with heart react. Music is such a beautiful thing we share as humans. It connects us in a way that transcends space and time... we are one there is only one race, human and we feel the same this is what all people need to heel love, appreciation, respect, togetherness. Music make us whole and unified
He was in Soundgarden, Temple of the dog, audio slave and had a solo career. He was one of the Major players in creating the grunge scene in the 90's with the like of Pearl jam (Eddie vedder) Alice in chains (Layne Stayley, RIP and Jerry Cantrell) and stone temple pilots (Scott Weiland, RIP)
Listened to this the day we found out he died. He sounds like an angel singing from heaven. Total meltdown achieved. RIP Chris. God Bless his family. Great reaction :)
This was written by prince but sang by Sinead O'connor, beautiful cover RIP to Chris Cornell, you have to have to HAVE TO do some Soundgarden, that's his best work to me anyways, Outshined is a good Soundgarden entry, great reactions btw bro.
Chris started out playing drums. Later he taught himself to play the guitar to better help him write his songs. That man went thru some shit. When Soundgarden hit the scene they just totally blew our faces off. Chris Cornell is the GOAT. I don't care what nobody say. This world lost alot when they lost him. He & his wife had opened a foundation for those with addictions & mental health issues. He knew first hand what torment both causes.
That recommended video "fell on black days" is another amazing song he did in this session. A modern take of an older song he had back with his first band
My man. Glad you finally watched this. Unreal right. Effortless. As impressive his work was with SoundGarden, and audioslave too as i feel they were HIGHLY underrated, his acoustic work as he aged was untouchable imo and his best work. And SoundGarden was my generation. Chris was made to sit and play an acoustic guitar and sing. Simple as that. Will make the hairs on your neck stand up. Sure his range was silly good and he could hit high notes women only dream of, but his acoustic stuff was just so enjoyable. Just something else. You catch all the nuances and it was so effortless that when he hit the gas it was like a freight train came out of nowhere. And he had that bluesy sound that got better as he aged Some of his work, like this piece, sound so good it's hard to believe he's live. Check out all of his acoustic work. He did a show in Sweden. It's otherworldly. Covered Billie Jean. You'll love it
You should listen to Chris's ENTIRE Catalogue Soundgarden,AUDIOSLAVE,and his solo CD'S, There's a reason this man was,is, and always will be my FAVORITE MALE SINGER! PERIOD !
I saw him when he was doing his solo tour, it was one of my top 3 concerts I've been to, and that's a pretty extensive list. He's the first famous person I had teared up upon hearing about his death. Kinda made me a little bit emotional hearing this. He's such a beautiful person, and while he's no longer tormented or suffering the world is certainly not better off without him being gone. You could feel his emotions through word.. and he's greatly missed.

Dude. I'm enjoying your reaction. Just subscribed.
Isn't he just so nostalgic though?!?
He started off as a drummer lol
Thank you for this heart felt reaction. Chris, Price, Tom Petty and so so many more left us to young and are greatly missed. We live on with their music and memories if any of us seen them preformed. It was an awesome action.

RIP Chris. We miss you brother.
Scott Werner so. Much.
Damn straight .
I am right there with you brother.
Nothing compares to Chris Cornell. RIP brother.

Chris was the man. In his own class.
Yea he's pretty awesome
I don't know about anybody else. But obviously we all cry when we hear this. Sometimes i think i'll make it till the end without crying and i hear that final chord and "To you". Hail Chris, fucking hell :(
I listen to it all the time. Makes me so somber. Sentiments exactly bro. I could see it on ur face.😔✌❤
Chris Cornell literally has the voice of an angel. He is so missed.
Have had a few drinks and my eyes welled up before you even paused it 😆 so haunting. The cello is killer too
Right from the jump bruh, my man hit play then paused with a "GOD DAMN". RIP Chris
My favorite Rock God… RIP 💔
Incredible. Such an incredible performance. Thank you.
"Fell on Black Days" is an original song by him and theres a recording from the same SiriusXM session.. that is unbelievable!
It's an outstanding version of the song. I actually prefer it to the original recording.
It's an outstanding version of the song. I actually prefer it to the original recording.
R.I.P.Chris we miss you brother ,you and Chester.the rock world is a whole lot different without you two in it..
Love seeing someone really feeling, enjoying this for first time
What a loss...RIP Chris❤🎶
Such a talented man gone too soon 😔
I love seeing the first time Chris Cornell renders someone speechless. All I can say is welcome to the club!
Chris starts singing
"God damn."
I feel that.
Beautiful!
I love the younger generation digging and getting into the voices that we grew up on...I mean Prince nailed that song and was one of my favorite songs when he did it (next to Starfish and Coffee that is). Chris Cornell made it so soulful man.
His cover of The Beatles A Day In The Life is amazing
You don’t expect it! Lol EVEN BETTER! He’s BEAUTIFUL!
He makes it look so effortless.

Amazing
He does an amazing cover of Michael Jackson's "Billy Jean" as well.
RIP CHRIS
Its amazing when someone sings the songs of our soul
The Howl of Seattle, only celeb I ever shedded tears for when he passed, very much missed!!
That voice is just unreal
Chris had one of the best voices in music. God needed him up in heaven in his choir! He is so missed!!!!
Nothing compares to Chris Cornell’s voice. Not many people could claim to have a four octave vocal range. He was a TRUE TALENT!!!
Chris has been my favorite artist for 25 years. It’s great to see someone experiencing him for the first time. Lots of layers here, keep peeling. Thanks for doing this, I enjoyed it.
Love that you checked out this wonder to the world . Respect to Cornell
He was unique there will never be another Cris Cornell
God damn is the appropriate reaction
Temple of the Dog “ Hunger Strike “ you get a double doozie of Chris Cornell and Eddie Vedder . “ Say Hello to Heaven is an excellent display also.
Deann Dragoun bennett , Already subscribed
Misinterpretation lmao but I already subscribed to him also. I’m pretty sure anyway lol
In the words of a very wise man..."Prince wrote it, Sinead made it famous, and Chris owns it!!!"🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
He was a lyrical master in anything he sings.he could write a song about toilet paper and make you love it.thats how good he is.ive been on this journey for 30 years and I'm sad as hell he's gone.R.I.P Chris cause nothing compares to you baby

I know this is an old post, but you really need to check out his cover of Stay With Me Baby....it's breathtaking!

Why Chris, why? Miss your smooth voice. You should be here teaching these fools!
Outshined!

And prince was a awesome guitar player as well so underrated
Now you see what we truly lost one of the greatest voices in music history R.I.P.
Written by the late great Prince 💜
Made famous by Sinead O'Connor 💚💚
Hearts & Souls touched by Chris Cornell ❤️❤️❤️
Really miss you.
I really enjoy your reviews. You're correct the power and clarity of his voice is mesmerizing.
His voice is so soulful. ❤
I love his acoustic stuff, just so raw. This is the perfect demonstration.
Great reaction man. He had such an amazing and unique tone to his voice. RIP
This version of the song imo shows off his voice like no other! Unbelievable

@@gregorymaxwell9614 I was in my mid teens then absolutely loved Soundgarden since Badmotorfinger was released! Such a phenomenal talent.
Lord we miss Chris.
Preaching the End of the World - Chris Cornell, you need to hear that song.
I enjoy this version as much as you do, keep doing the good work and sharing it!
In this studio session he also has an amazing version of "Fell on black days" which was one of his Soundgarden songs.
I grew up on Soundgarden and Chris..this is my favorite cover of all time. ❤❤
"Like a bird without a song"
Beautiful line.
Time to start digging into Soundgarden and Audioslave now....
And maybe a tiny bit of Temple of the Dog
Add more Chris
