Just want to say there is a common thread that connects all of the lost singers… it’s not drugs(close) but a nihilistic ideology. Where death is looked as the cure not the disease. It’s empathy of the things that destroy you. The left side of the country is a black hole sun for beauty.

My mother died one month ago from stage 4 lung cancer and she had created over the years, a huge, beautiful garden that slowly disintegrated as she got sicker and sicker..and she would ask me how it looked and I told her perfect.

I can tell from your eyes and the the shortness of your reaction that you felt what most of us as fans of Chris feel now hearing his voice. I find myself crying without thinking about it and some of the songs I just "rocked out" to and sang along to at the top of my lungs pull emotions from me that surprise me everytime. The profound effect of his loss I think is still lost on me. But everytime I hear his voice now I'm reminded of the impact he made in my life. But that morning when I woke up and saw the news, it was like losing a close friend or family member. Hard to describe, I can't imagine any other celebrity having that effect on me. My father passed away 18 years ago today. I actually have 12/8 tattooed on my arm in honor of him, John Lennon, and Dimebag Darrell, who also passed on this day. I watched this video from a totally different perspective, but shared every look on your face throughout the video. Add the context of loving Chris Cornell and growing up with Sinead's version of this song (I'm 38 now), this brought a warmth to my heart that definitely helps during the winter months here in Detroit. Much love and CHEERS to the talent that brings us together! Life can get tough, but it helps if you give it a killer soundtrack

He is just an awesome person my daughter is a concert promoter, she said during meet and greets with the fans that out of the hundreds of celebrity/music acts Chis was the most kind, nicest, humble person she ever met. My goal in life is to die with complement's like that. RIP Chris!

The couple sitting next to me was enjoying my enjoyment. That night was sucha magic moment. In my top 5 favorite concerts cause of the duet with his daughter Toni and just in general
