- Heyyy, how y'all doing? Long time no check in so I'm finally sitting down and going through my current debt balances, savings goals and just organizing my finances!

What goals are you working on right now?!
Right now, getting out of student loan debt. I enjoy your content btw 😊
I got a small bonus and raise this month so I’m working on building a one month ahead fund. I also used some of that money to start funding back to school for my teen for August and a tennis lessons fund for summer. She wants to take tennis lessons. I didn’t pay for lessons last summer because I really didn’t know where to pull that money from- my smaller savings? or try to cash flow it? Now that I have a tennis savings bucket I can just pull the money out when she’s ready for summer lessons. Having dedicated sinking funds really gives peace of mind. It also gives me permission to spend it for those things.

I am working on paying off credit cards!! I want them gone this year. I am also working on 3 months emergency fund. One step at a time
I’m working on rebuilding my emergency fund and paying of credit cards!
Just paid off 2 small credit cards and put starter e-fund in savings. 1400 left on the last debt and i will be debt free other than mortgage! Ready to build up some more savings!

As far as finances I am working on paying off my credit cards very aggressively. I'm grateful that the majority of my student loans were forgiven recently (I'm still processing that). If I stick to my budget I can be totally debt free (car, student loans and credit cards) in less than 5 years...maybe 4 with extra payments. THANK YOU so much for sharing your journies, it has helped me tremendously ❤😉

Became debt free last month. I am focusing on savings now and just enjoying life a little more.
The mortgage increase isn't even close to how much rent has gone up recently so I wouldn't even sweat it on that!
I’m focused on building up my emergency fund slowly adding $250 each month. I’m also paying down principal each month on my mortgage. No credit card or car loan at this time. You’re doing so well. Keep moving forward one step at a time

I just paid off my fence loan today! Now i can start saving money to build out the rest of my barn and such :) it's exciting to see others on the same journey as me

Finally started my consultancy...because I finally started refurbishing my house and the money is done half way thru 😢
So I don't live anywhere and I need to get my income up quick!
And I'm burnt out and now have 3 jobs (funny but not)
But the aim is to quit the 'regular' job by the end of summer (good riddance) so the consultancy needs to be making TWICE as much as that job by then

For my finances, I am trying to get a job that I can love. I just canceled an interview because after I researched the company I found out they suck for employees. I would like to have a side hustle in copywriting but I have yet to finish my copywriting course so I can know the ends and out of the business.
I feel you on having debt just lingering. My mortgage is the only debt I now have outside of utilities and I currently in the process of paying it down by sending in and extra $250 biweekly. I’m just praying I can stay on track with that amount.
Working to paying off 2 loans by the end of the year and to start saving again.
I am following your 70/20/10 rule for my tax return. It will allow me to pay off all of my affirms and two credit cards with the 70%. Creating a buffer in my two accounts and savings with the 20%. After that we will be focusing on our last credit card and then the car loans and savings

Hello, I have always focused on paying off my lowest credit card first, which I have done so I can pay on other cards that's higher, and it does help my credit report. It is so easy to be tempted to use your card that's paid off, but I try my best not to use it. I thank God that all of my student loans were forgiven and I received a refund for payments that have made over the years for my daughter who now has her master degree but if i had to do it all over again for her to get her education, i wouldn't hesitate to take out another loan even if it wasn't forgiven, a good education can make a person's life so much easier in the long-term. I too need to replenish my emergency savings account. It was a blessing to have it when I needed it.
I just paid off my last credit card so the only debt I have left is a 401K loan and I owe the IRS $2K. After those are paid I will accelerate my savings and investing.
I also have trips to Tulum, Maui, South Africa, and possibly a cruise and camping. I put off a lot of traveling the past four years to focus on debt and I have accomplished a lot in these years.
Take those trips and ENJOY them! Sounds like you’ve more than earned them

Hey, I’m 24 y/o and I’m working on a 6month emergency fund, I’m at about the 3/4 month mark. The only debt I have is $4,300 in student loans left. I have paid $4,000 already. Taking break and only doing minimums on that now.

I’m currently working on saving and paying off my last debt (CC). I’m currently waiting for the start date for a new wfh job and planning to find another one once I have this one under my belt to increase my income.

We as new real estate investors go through the wringer. Even experienced investors go through it. Hang in there and keep moving forward, even if you stumble. You are on the path to millionaire status. I will still be here watching the entire journey.
I just started saving for my new water heater, but the old one wouldn't wait. So I went ahead and financed the new one at 7.99%. I'm definitely going to try to get that one to go away sooner!

Actually rent has been coming down. I sold my home and went back to renting and I'm saving over $400 a month. Proceeds went to the stock market. So happy with my decision. Less stressful
