This rattle probably ended up a bit too big. I tried using a baby for scale, but it kept crawling away...

Great job, I must remember this if any of my family decide to have more kidz. John
Wish I'd had one like that when I was a baby. Your new little person will love it. I don't think its too big. It can be rolled along the floor as well as shaken and babies just naturally get bigger. Have yourself a great New Year's Eve and thank you for sharing.
I made one as a gift to go along with a cradle I was commissioned to make. Also in walnut, baby sized, single ended, drilled out center of bulb placed a few dried beans inside then plugged hole. They loved it! wish youtube allowed pics LOL
That is awesome! I’ve wanted to make one with beans at the end like that
Ah yes, one's wood must balance. 🤹♂️ All involved will just adore this rattle 💑 -Mike
p.s. Thought it might end up crank shaped captive ring rattle 😁 .... "kept crawling away" Very Good!
The crank with a ring is still on my mind!
Very pampering eyes....
I love the way you work...
Thank you for sharing your inspiration....🙏
Very cool Drew--Grandpa would be so proud!
Thanks Aunt Maggie!!
I just became a grandfather and I would love one of those for my daughters new baby. Do you sell them.?
Your videos are great and you make some really interesting things. I turned a handle with a knob the other day on my baby Jet lathe.
Wow. Great job. Thank you for sharing.

Great video. What size blank did you start with?
Niceeeee
Looks like something I hide between my door and seat. Use it to beat someone over the head with.
Give it to the kid so he can KO is brother or sister!😆
What was dimension of starting wood
Very nice. Thanks! What type of wood did you use?
Thanks! This was some scrap walnut my friend gave me
What oil do you put on the wood?
And by the way super awesome!
Thanks Drew! This one was just mineral oil, since I assume the kid will end up putting its mouth all over it haha
Cook Woodworks OK thanks!
@@CookWoodworks mineral oil - good thinking ahead 👍
Awww. You have such a cute little lathe. Have you given it a name yet?
我跟你一样从事着木工的行业,一直关注着你的发展,但由于各种原因一直没有开始起步。你更新的很迅速,发展的也很迅速,值得我学习的太多,愿前进的路上与你同行,之后的道路愿多多指导。
Ilike
Thank you
It's kind of big for a rattler. I don't think it's to heavy. Babies put things in their mouths. Not sure if that polish is food safe.
I like your work. Maybe you could use a dark wood stain on a project.
A typo in the title a suppose 🤔
