Not to be contrary, but if that was the formula that did the trick. They, eligible ladies should be beating down my door by now.
It seems that the kinder, more engaged and generous one is, the less it is appreciated ultimately.
I am convinced that the majority of women are so accustomed to being treated poorly by men,
(especially older women who have had several longer term nightmarish relationships a result of repeated poor decision making)
that when they come across a man who treats them with respect and dignity they reject it because it’s so foreign to them.
I’ll tell you ladies, it’s maddening!!!

@@kenriehl7852 These guys are both dead wrong and right at the same time as are you. Bottom line is if the girl is not physically attracted to you none of that matters. If you are physically attractive to that woman then she will respond to either; ignore them and focus on yourself (in which case she might think you are gay or uninterested.....more likely) or be a nice good person, then you aren't mysterious or dangerous enough. Bottom line is you never know what will work so not giving a damn is the best approach for your sanity. I’ve said this a million times
I’ve been single for 7 years and it’ll take someone who’s genuinely interested in me for me to change my relationship status. And in my 7 years being alone I really learned who I really am and I’ve enjoyed my single life. I absolutely have nothing against women I just decided to stay single all this time. I enjoy being single and I do eventually want to find someone absolutely. But I’m in no rush to find anyone
I’m glad I’ve never been a chaser, if I don’t get back the attention I put into her. I walk away and pull back entirely. There was a girl I really liked at the church I go to and every time I talked to her it was a one way conversation. So I let her go and I’m still like friendly to her and say hello to her when I see her. But I’ve moved on and let her go

For most guys they are the ones who need to take the initiative and I believe women expect them to as well. @@tonii5690It's true. I am fully independent now and have gotten laid less since college days living with my parents. My first girl friend still hasn't really happened at age 36. Just a series of hookups and friend with benefits.
I even went to a pickup bootcamp, spent a few grand for nothing. But I got to see the whole attitude of guys who go out regularly and approach women. Consistency and perseverance seems to be the only key to getting the women you actually want unless you're a solid 10 like you say. No way around it. And I'm 6'4'' with a lean body, makes little difference if you aren't the one doing the approaching and saying the right things.

No, you're just picking the wrong ones. After dating for the first time in my life at age 38, and going on around 50 first dates, I can tell you that men have a boat load of issues. I had a good dad and was in long relationships with good men before now so I was very surprised. Many of the men I have rejected will say that I have issues when I absolutely know this isn't true, I simply was not into them and I ended it nicely and early. In the past few months I've been verbally abused for not opening texts quickly, told I have attachment issues, been lied to and led on, been sexually molested and emotionally blackmailed. These were guys I went on a few dates with. I've also met a few great guys. What I refuse to do is pander to men in case they call me a bitch or say I have issues. I dust myself off from these events and look at what I can do differently, I don't get butt hurt and start blaming all men.

I loved how you said the issues represented in the video are due to deep unresolved trauma, how one should learn to love his/herself before becoming dateable. Most of the time, alot of people start developing an idea of hate towards the opposite sex when they get rejected, neglected or cheated on, etc...They think it's due to something bad they did when in fact it has nothing to do with them in the first place and everything to do about how the other person feels about themself. Stoicism really came to my mind when watching this video, "do not get emotional about things on which you have no control", you be the best person you can be to the point where you're truly sincerely happy with yourself and only then start inviting other people into your life. If you're not happy with your life, do not think that entering a relationship will make all your unhappiness go away because it won't. Great video overall.

Dang! This video agrees with a lot of my personal beliefs. I'm definitely of the thought that people need to spend a good amount of time being single, learning about themselves. Learning what makes them react the way they do. Figuring out how to be independent. That way, when the time comes, you can want to be in a relationship instead if needing to be in a relationship. I spent most of my 20's doing this myself and life is so much easier now as a result 15ish yrs later.

In a nutshell: being more self-aware. I realized the root cause of my depression was my lack of focus stemming from having a short attention span, or ADD. Anytime I enter a conversation, my mind will literally wander after roughly one minute or so. I've been only medicated for the depression, not the ADD, so that's always been a challenge.

Being a man I completely agree with you. Darius is a funny polarizing guy. Reminds me of when I was 17 or 23. It's a dream then to get all girls and women chasing you. It also is meaningless. A decent relationship does not include any chasing. Indeed it's about "pouring into one another". Perfectly worded, couldn't have said it any better. Big difference to my friend Darius: there has to be something substantial to be poured. 😀😀😀

You grasped the gist of what constitutes toxic people and toxic relationships that are so prevalent now! People are not comfortable with themselves and are just not ready for a relationship.
