I remember it taking me ages as a kid to unlock the dolphin, went back to do it a few years ago and it took 10 minutes. Funny how time changes!

in gaming magazines where publishers would reveal these things, incentivizing gamers to actually buy them to unlock cool secrets.

TomtoMario Yeah Retro games have some of the best Easter Eggs i have ever seen! Primal Rage is a classic example of this!
I knew about the dolphin ride as a kid thanks to a magazine screenshot , but I never knew how to unlock it, dam was it well hidden.
For so many years I wondered how to do this!

Hey, may I just say I love your channel, but I have a suggestion for a game with TONS of Easter eggs and a few glitches. Sonic Adventure 2:Battle, this game could take up two episodes possibly (may be exaggerating) but it would be worth it, it has Easter eggs from City Escape bull item boards to the secret Big the Cat cameo in story mode to even that Chao Garden wall glitch. You definaty need to try it, you will not be disappointed.
She really wants you to follow that dolphin.

I only knew about the third one before. I remember unlocking that.
Also... if you pass the finish line just before time runs out in stunt mode, your score gets multiplied, and you can make crazy scores :) !! You can simply remain idle before the finish line if you have lots of time remaining and just cross it right before the countdown reaches zero and watch your score becoming crazy big :).
Also, if you hold up on the jet-ski select screen while selecting a jet-ski, you get an alternate colour, but I'm not sure how much of a secret that is, it's not super well hidden, and might even be mentioned in the manual but I don't have that anymore :P.
RudyC3 Yeah the color changing secret isn't placed in the manual i was going to add it but then i didn't LOL :D but i will be trying the point scoring method out i never knew about that.
***** I believe I read about it in a cheat code magazine back in the day. Well it doesn't so much multiply your score as it gives you a huge score boost for crossing the line really dead close to zero which can be pretty much equal your total score otherwise, effectively nearly doubling it, as I recall. I haven't tried that in years though. Coupling that to pausing the game just as you land on the water after a stunt, which also boosts your score for that stunt, can lead to really crazy high scores.
I believe coupling both above methods while doing the method for unlocking the dolphin, on dolphin park in stunt mode, I was well over 30,000 pts when i crossed the finish line, but I should check my cartridge again, haven't played that game in ages :P.
Hi james,i'm a new fan of your channel and i have a easter egg in battlefield hardline in the seven episode of the game you infiltrate in a home and in a part of the house you can find a video games room and in there is a copy of dead space 2 beside the tv (2nd floor) i hope you read this message and keep up with the good videos :D
P.D.:I found it by myself so i don't know if is in youtube or in pages yet.

Also i found in a computer on the episode 9 when you reached floor 20,go to the computers and you can see a cat in a video but in the background you can see and origins logo,an battlefield hardline beta and another game that i couldn't saw very well

Edit 3 : In the episode 10 in the third "zone" of enemies you go to the roof and enter the room in there you will find a tv in there look down and you will find a copy of dead space 3

There are also ways to see killer whales (adult and babies) and a penguin during Championship mode. Has anyone posted a video of those? I never got to see them before but I know they exist.

I actually found one. Someone posted a video of getting a perfect score in championship mode and it triggers all of them.

***** Yeah unsolved mystery there, though it could very well be in among the game some where.
I'm sure it is, the easter egg has been found in all titles Kazumi Totaka has worked in (except from this one & a cooking game for the DS) so if we haven't found it in almost 2 decades, means it's definitely well hidden. I've talked to Totaka a few times about an old jazz trio of his, but I never asked him whether Totaka's Song is in Wave Race 64.
