Hey everyone! I know you’re all excited for the review. It’s in the van, as they say. Probably going to have to do two reviews on this, with a super deep dive in the second. That sound interesting. Also, there are no front-facing bezels on this TV, just a black matrix section of the screen. So, it appears to have a border, but it isn’t bezel trim implementation.
I splurged on the c2 65" and I must say, even not being a TV guy, I find myself watching a lot more TV now as it's twice as entertaining as before on this beauty. There's no complaints, other than being a bit pricey. You definitely get what you pay for. Just don't tell your family what you paid for it!
Bought 7 weeks ago. LG C2 65inch OLED in early Jan 2023. Best tv ever. Perfect for movies & high quality tv series. I come from a television production background so I was looking for perfect reproduction of what the creatives intended and LG C2 does this!!! Works well in a moderately bright room. Coupled with a good surround sound system (5.1 AV receiver) and you don’t get a better experience. I couldn’t be happier.
I'm in my early 40's, I don't have kids and I've working for 20 years, so money it's not a problem for me, nobody will give a f*ck. Like my mother used to say to me: "If you can buy it, go ahead. You don't have to spend money on diapers..." 😁😁😁
I got the LG C1 OLED 55-inch (largest that I can get in my room). I absolutely love it. My first Smart TV and coming from a 42-inch Samsung which was the last of the Plasma series and I had that one for 9 years, it is still going strong, but I just wanted a Smart TV that was also larger. This TV is such a pleasure. I ordered it at Best Buy along with a Rocket Fish expandable mount, that I also love, as I can angle it in various positions and pull it away from the wall if I need to access the ports on the back. Best Buy delivered and set up the mount and the TV after taking down the one that I had and gave to my nephew who didn't have a TV. It is so thin, and has 4 HGTV ports, and 3 USB ports. I have plugged in my Laptop and Mac Book Pro with another HDMI cable.
Hi Susan, I just wanted to ask: how do you find using it as a monitor for your laptop? I've just bought a C2 that's 55" and I'm just wondering if it'd too big for a laptop monitor. Please let me know if you see this. :)
I only used it a few times, but I did like using it. I did find that when my Dell is hooked up to it, the sound comes from the TV, and if the HDMI is connected to it, there is no sound on the computer, so I need to disconnect the HDMI to have sound on it again.
So I just made a splurge on the C2 and I’m a C1 owner. We just moved into a new home and once we got our living room set up the 65” C1 felt smaller because of the layout. I kept telling my wife I felt we should upgrade to a larger model and I was fine staying with the C1 if needed. But today the prices dropped back down to Black Friday prices on the C2 models and I was able to get a 77” model. A friend of mine wanted to get a C1 and said he’d buy my 65” model off of me and which is the main reason I’m upgrading. Can’t wait to see the 77” set up in my living room.
Just bought my C1 last year, but its good seeing LG keep producing quality. So far I absolutely LOVE my C1 and its good to see that, so far, I can return to the brand when I'm ready for my next one.

I love my 77in C1. I was worried that the C2 would be alot better but from what I have seen so far its a slight improvement. Mainly the brightness. But what some of these reviews are not saying is that if you have the 77 and 83 inch you already have the EVO panel.
The EVO panel in the C1 doesn’t add any brightness, it just protects better against burn in. I found the C2 better at some big points. C2 handles motion better, colours are better, shadowdetail is better. And the picture almost has a 3D feel to it, looks more detailed and has more depth. Difficult to explain, you have to see it for yourself. Through firmware updates this tv is going to be better and better
I just got my C2 today and I cannot wait to see what this has to offer in terms of picture quality. It’s my first OLED TV and I bought it just in time for FF16 on the 22nd.
Thanks Caleb! Great job as always. How does the C2 look without professional calibration? Is it pretty accurate out of the box? Also, would love to see a C2 vs C1 comparison...is it worth the extra $$$?

Can you use C2 stand on the C1?
I would be really interested if you can setup the TV as just a „dumb“ TV like you talked about in an prior video. I only want to use my Apple TV with TVs nowadays so I would love to know if you could just dismiss everything that is not necessary, like I have seen on some Sony TVs if I am not mistaken
IT'S FUCKING TV SEASON BABYYYYYY
All right ! calm down dear ,it’s only a tv review
I get its lighter has better features and environmentally better, but seems like LG went on the cheap side as in quality materials vs the 2020-2021 models. And im not a fan of the lighter, smaller stand. But Im sure viewing wise its an excellent TV.
I agree.
Hi Caleb, can u do C2 vs G1 please review. Thanks.
Will a sound bar fit under tv?
Caleb you have to do a Sony a90J vs c2 giving the relatively close pricing!
Great video as always. When can we expect the full review and comparison with c1?
hey whats the best solution if i have 4k dolby visions movies on my pc but the TV is in another room? buy an external media player and safe them into it it and plug it into the TV ?
