This looks like a really cool build. I feel like there are a lot of great budget options for a synergistic Black/Green/Blue Planeswalker deck. Two cards I would love to work into a build like this are Roalesk, Apex Hybrid, and Bioessence Hydra. Roalesk feels like a good match since he'll add two loyalty counters to all your Planeswalkers once he dies. Good thing Xavier's looking for willing sacrifices! Bioessence Hydra isn't the most powerful card, but I just think it's a cool design, and I've always wanted to find a deck for it. Thanks for sharing the decklist!
Thank you! That’s my favorite part about a janky budget deck like this, tons of interesting synergistic cards that you get to throw in even if they’re not “staples”
@@levisdeckbox Thats genius. Now i really want a sitcom of all of those planeswalkers sailing with Sal through the multiverse, specialy Vraska. And also i really want to build deck now, is a really cool idea. Maybe with some changes like the pirate Vraska and Weatherlight Compleated, for thematic reasons(Weatherlight, is or at least was able to traverse through planes), and because i think that version of weatherlight could actually work great in the deck, it takes advante of both death triggers and proliferate. Probably gonna take some more expensive cards out (because damn, things are alot less budget for card games in brazil, sometimes something lowers the price in dolar in the us but not here), then add some cards of my preference, M15 Garruk cause i love that one and is from when i started playing, Liliana Vess cause i have the BEAAUUUTIFUL art she had on the vs deck with Garruk, and Nashi, Moon's Legacy to be a stand-in for his mother (and cause he can cast the planeswalkers and legendary creatures from graveyard). Anyways, Captain Sal is one of those commanders that i think "neat" but have no interest in actually building, but you really made me reevaluate him.
I was wondering btw, how you think this deck compares with the unupgraded planeswalker party precon? Their prices actually ended up similar for me here.
I’d probably go with Xavier, Guff is the best part of that deck. Most of the planeswalkers in the deck are a little underwhelming imo, I haven’t played it myself but it seems like it would need a little more work
Thanks! Most of planeswalkers make tokens so go wide, aristocrats pieces because we’re sacrificing to proliferate and since we’re proliferating, ulting your planeswalkers is a realistic wincon, especially since we have so many blockers
It’s just so Frustrating that his second ability can only be used at sorcery speed. So bad when protecting your Walkers. I feel like blocking incoming attacks with the tokens you’re making while saccing them for value would be so crucial for this deck. But as it is u loose your defender for loyalty, wich you loose any way because you lack defenders. One less blocker can make all the difference. Destroyed this awesome deck idea for me. Also can’t use him as a blocker anymore. It’s just cursed
I mean you’re only able to sac one token per turn without untappers and over 20 cards that make tokens. I think it’s very likely you’ll have more than enough tokens to block and still sacrifice. Also there’s other cards in the deck that care about the tokens dying so it’s not like you’re getting no value at all for them. That’s my opinion anyway

Intruder alarm could work some fun things out with this deck. Love this idea. Definitely going to try this build out on paper.
I just realized master biomancer paired with him and intruder alarm can go infinite.
Haha yep intruder alarm is pretty nuts! Thanks I hope it goes well for you :)
Such a great deck list. Will definitely be building this. Thanks for sharing.
Glad you like it! Thanks for the feedback :)
Creative idea! I don’t think I’ve seen anyone try this type of build yet 👀
Thanks! It seems like a blast to play haha
Really cool deck, the only thing im left to wonder is what did Xavier do to recruit all these planeswalkers for his crew
Maybe his ship can travel between planes and most of their sparks are gone 😂

Hahah I love it. Yeah I didn’t really know where to take him until I thought of a token making planeswalker then the deck kind of made itself

Just here to encourage. Sweet list and I love Superfriends that isn’t 5 color
Thank you! I do as well, not a big fan of wubrg personally lol
I either want muldrotha or this deck for my sultai superfriends deck but idk which to do yet haha
I try to stay away from the super popular commanders, opponents always try to kill your commander if they’re well known to be scary haha
@@levisdeckbox for sure 🤣
this build seems a blast, but what are the wincons? can you really handle opponents boards?

At least that’s how I think we win, I haven’t built it yet 😅
@@levisdeckbox i’m going to proxy it and try some games, let you know and if there’s something to change 👍🏻
Over $200 today 😮
Oh haha I actually have swapped up the decklist a little bit recently cause I’m putting this one together in paper. Before any edits it was around $80
