Little too early to tell, racing set looks stupid, I’m getting kind of tired of gimmick sets since we just got like 4-5 In a row. Tarkir will be good no doubt and I think edge of eternities is gonna be fun. I loved the warhammer set so hopefully it will be good. I know a bit about final fantasy and I’ve liked all the major UB releases so far so that will be good I’ll bet. It’s looks good so far but we’ll have to wait and see I suppose

@@levisdeckbox I hear ya boss. From what little I know about the sets next year, the only ones I’m most excited for are Tarkir and Final Fantasy. It could potentially be a year where I spend less on MTG compared to this year, but I guess we’ll see. Which gimmick sets did you not like bro?

Yeah I feel that, I barely spent anything on this years sets, save for a few singles for decks. Don’t get me wrong I liked a lot of commanders from the standard sets this year but the actual mechanics from karlov, otj, bloomburrow and duskmourn were all pretty lame in my opinion. Foundations is looking like the best release this year besides maybe MH3. Idk I just feel like the sets are focused around one super niche idea and everything in the set is laser focused on that

@@levisdeckbox if you really want to keep going this way, Footbottom Feast, Gravepurge, Forever Young, and Bone Harvest all can put stuff back on your deck to cycle through again. I'd probably only play the first two (instant and draws immediately). This also triggers the Syr Konrad a whole lot. Null Profusion can be used as a 6 mana redundancy to draw cards like your commander.

Happy to help! If you keep getting attacked I would throw something like No Mercy, Propaganda and Collective Restraint into the deck. That should deter your opponents long enough for you to get your game plan going. Glad you like the deck :)

Just thought of another one, Dissipation Field. Great against aggro decks, even if it’s non combat

I agree! Brass seems pretty fun, I want to build Kenway too but I think it would be too similar even though Francisco is only a sub theme of pirates lol

That sounds fun! I need to really rework the deck, it’s got some cool synergies but I think it’s my least winning deck. Just feels a little dawdley, not gonna scrap it but def gotta rethink it

I typically stick to two colors when I can but some strategies are just way better with 3 haha

I haven’t put it together. I have several voltron decks and I didn’t really think I needed another one, even though it does look really fun. I think the strength of the deck is relative to your playgroup. Like if your friends are playing combo, you probably won’t have enough time to get the damage through.

Oh haha I actually have swapped up the decklist a little bit recently cause I’m putting this one together in paper. Before any edits it was around $80

I’ve built a lot of Rakdos decks with commanders that are over 5 cmc and I just don’t like how long it takes to get them out, that’s why I prefer Strefan. Not to mention you’d likely want most of your vampires to be legends with Olivia, that way you don’t get 3/4/5 for oned if Olivia is your only legend and she dies. So it’s really 2 completely different decks imo

I haven’t seen anyone talking about it, seems like a wild deck to bring to a table haha

Thanks! Most of planeswalkers make tokens so go wide, aristocrats pieces because we’re sacrificing to proliferate and since we’re proliferating, ulting your planeswalkers is a realistic wincon, especially since we have so many blockers

At least that’s how I think we win, I haven’t built it yet 😅

but he exiles not draws - so unless you had a draw effect on attack you shouldn’t lose until your draw step

@EnemyToad I had 46 creatures, and a hand size of 32.. for certain there was compelled draw in there. It performed great though. Just have to be mindful of interactions. Definitely my favorite Changeling deck

Yeah that might be a better route. Having the deck for a while I’ve noticed it really struggles closing out games. There’s been a few dream scenarios where I have all the pieces I need but it struggles with something and I’m still tweaking it to find out what it is lol

Yeah I recently put together a list from cards I already had and it is not very good lol. Seems like one of those commanders that you need a lot of tweaks to make good and I’m not sure I’m willing to give her that. I honestly wish she only had the imp text and not the lifelink 😂
