That's one of my favorite things about Ian's vids. Part of what made all of these creators from this era so good was the feel of throwing a video together with whatever they had. A lot of the normal boots/hidden block crews kind of settled into a more refined format, either by removing the sketches (like Completionist), or kept trying to up the production quality (like JonTron). As another fat kid who got a block of cheddar for Christmas, I took my time and savored every bit of it. I rolled all of that salt and and fat around in my mouth slowly. It was glorious, it was hilarious. It tasted turrible.
@@Gingersnaps1978 Gerbert himself/themself/sheself fucking disturbs me. Jesus christ what an appalling puppet! Lmfao
Dude, the Televoid bit blew my mind! Amazing work as always!
God, it made me so happy to see that set!!
i was also super suprised to see a Televoid bit at the end there
That switch into televoid was so smooth. Outstanding stuff throughout
Since Ian does a honest review with these frozen entrees, I'll give an honest review of this video. This is honestly, one of the best Brutalfoods episodes I've watched, since the Hungry-Man one first came out. The editing is like a huge bag of eye candy, the humor is very evident & it's got that special edge that Ian had in his way older videos. Overall, one of my absolute favorites of your newer videos dude, keep it up. 👏👏👏
the fact that i IMMEDIATELY knew that your "marinara" soundbite came from your Banquet video shows how many times i've repeatedly watched your frozen food videos
Same!
Banquet Beef Showdown
Brutal foods are my comfort vids. Can’t even count how many times I have rewatched them to soothe me into sleep. Truly the best
I’m so happy, I had horrible few months to the point of bitter tears. A simple grown man eating frozen food with wacky editing made life a little easier. Thank you.
We all need to some Brutal comfort food. 👋🏻
Hope things get better.
Ditto.
Felt
Said a prayer that things get better for you. Just remember better things will come along, bad times don’t last forever and things will work out in time.
you really outdid yourself with this one. the editing was incredible. i especially loved the car driving sequence and the televoid callback with the potato skin section
This video is amazing with its production value and storytelling. Ive been watching this channel since lego island 2 and this impressed me so much I've been doing a rewatch of all all the videos i remember over the years. Keep up the amazing work ian!
this is incredible, that drivig sequence all the way to the menu transition blew my mind
When you said "herby" I 100% thought of "Herbie" and the fact that you followed it up with that Fully Loaded joke was perfect.
Tel👏🏾e👏🏾void!👏🏾 Tel👏🏾e👏🏾void!👏🏾 the joy my partner and I felt when we saw the tree! We were literally saying when you walked into the void "aww..this reminds me of televoid...oh shi-!"
As soon as I saw the ground under his feet, I was like "no way is he referencing Televoid"! I was just thinking of it when I saw he posted a video today too. Crazy timing
I was thinking to myself when he walked through the door, "what if he met up with that old fox, that'd be funny," and then he entered Televoid!
Your boyfriend, girlfriend, or significant other. Let's stop making relationships sound like business arrangements.
@@englishatheart I always think people are describing people they're dating when they're talking about business partners 😂 the English language sure is a weird and changeable thing
@@englishatheart It's not a friendship either, so just call it "your lover".
by far and away my favorite brutal foods so far. And I absolutely love the ending. Thank you moose!!
Your editing never ceases to make me smile, the sequence at 1:37 is particularly cool. So innovative!
I would pay so much money to just watch Ian do a video editing livestream. The process of creating these avant garde masterpieces must be so fascinating.
Knowing him it's probably shockingly unremarkable
Surely he can't make a video longer than Quinton reviews based on the editing of this video. I doubt that
i feel like i remember him doing a stream of him editing videos like years ago but idk i might just be imagining things lol
You don't wanna see how the sausage is made
He actually did do an editing livestream for this video recently. However he didn't SHOW any of the editing, just the Runescape he was playing on a second screen.
New televoid lore hell yeah ive been waiting like 5 telebillion years
Not only do I thoroughly enjoy watching your videos, I actually sit through the frickin sponsor portion as well! You're the only who can successfully make me sit through a sponsorship and actually enjoy it to its fullest.
wife and i dropped everything to watch. honestly the use of unity and overall quality reminds me of some really cool independent films i’ve seen at local film festivals- projects that are so good to look at and are just full of passion for the craft and the act of creation. such a treat to see you have such a blast doing new and fun things, well done ian!!
Can you guys adopt me? You sound awesome
I think the “popper” portion of jalapeño popper refers to the muscle calming effect (just as the drug), considering they make you shart about an hour later!
Think that's just you, bud
@@Nakia11798you too! I smell you from here buddy!
The greenscreen quality, the comedy, the informative reviews, the televoid reference, I ALWAYS get excited when a new brutalmoose vid drops for good reason.
absolutely adore the creativity of this one, your music and editing choices always stood out to me while u make interesting and wacky stuff like this
The void returns and always welcomes new viewers.
I've been having a really rough few months and Brutalmoose and Brutalfoods have always been, if you pardon the pun, comfort food for me. It is definitely good to see your work again, and holy hell, your editing gets better and better every time.
Same. This might be the best channel on UA-cam. Moose is popular, but every video I’ve ever watched I think “this guy is so underrated.” Feels good.
This is my favorite video you've done. The amount of editing insanity combined with your delivery is wonderful.
I already thought that your editing was as good as it gets, but you sir have thoroughly proven me wrong. Fantastically surreal.
I found your channel in my sophomore year and watched all the brutal foods vids and kept up with them but I stopped for a while and kinda “saved” plenty of brutal foods vid so I can get that binge watching experience again, thanks Ian this brought back a good feeling
This video is a masterclass, you’ve really elevated your style!!
I always find brutal foods to be the most brutal of all.
The editing on this one is wonderful.
Brutalfoods videos are showcases of "Editing as content" that happen to also include food, I'd put "You Suck at Cooking" in a similar camp
@@feraldynasty absolutely. YSaC is amazing
I’m loving the implications that Brutalfoods may have just been one giant prequel to Televoid. Either that or the other Ian succumbed to the void and Chef Ian has been selected as the new host.
I just have to say I came back for my every two year let’s see what Ian is up to check ups and this video man. This video is amazing the point and click retro editing of this video goes back to the roots of brutal moose and I think this was one of THE best videos I’ve seen in a while on UA-cam especially you Ian. Spectacular job I fucking love you man
Incredible visuals and editing on this one, so unique and hilarious -- loved the callback to Televoid as well! Fantastic work as always.
That was amazing, hope to see you again sooner than in 3 months Ian!
(Also you are one of only THREE people on youtube I will WILLINGLY sit through the ad segments for, I love the way you do ads)
I agree. I love the promotional ads. I'm sold
New Brutal Foods Hell Ye....OMG that's the Bean cookbook I sent!!!!! 🤣😂
i knew it had to be used! thanks for sending it in!
I had never seen your content before, but I'll tell you what, it was a beautiful yet haunting experience watching this high out of my mind
I freaking love Brutalmoose. I freaking love TGI Tony's TGI Tuesdays. I freaking LOVE Televoid. Please bring it back. I worship the moose and his food opinions. Really unique new brutalmoose video, loved it.
Don't play with my heart, man. I've been waiting for Televoid to come back for so long. I love all of your content, but Televoid was such a vibe that I've missed.
It's easily some of the best stuff he's ever done. I've watched that series way too many times!
I just love your editing so much. Fun details, weirdly charming, at times it feels like some point and click adventure with digitized characters, I can't get enough of that. Thanks for being awesome.
It always makes me so happy to see you uploaded a new video, I don't know exactly what it is but they're both entertaining and comfy at the same time. I sometimes come back to put one of them on if I'm too fucked up to sleep and they make me feel safer, thank you.
What is this level of editing?? I’ve not seen this in a long time. Grateful to find this channel. Blessed be you.
As someone who was in the discord when Ian first talked about his idea for this series, it’s absolutely astounding to see how far he’s gone with it and how incredible each video is. Each time I get an upload notification it’s like Christmas. Thanks for making such great videos over all the years Ian!
The stock wet sounds, when you bite into something crunchy, are certainly a vibe
You have gotten so good at your editing style, and I'm here for it.
i will never read or hear the phrase "Marinara Sauce" without hearing Chef Ian Brutalfoods in my head
Often times my remaining few friends are “too busy” to hang out with me for months or years on end.
Brutalmoose videos, and especially the food videos, are genuinely lifesaving for me. I can put one on and eat my food while Ian reviews the food he is eating, and I can laugh along with the little gags and jokes along the way.
I’m so grateful for this channel. It might be my favorite channel on UA-cam. No, I would say it is.
Relatable. I go months without human contact beyond brief interactions at the store sometimes, not really of my own volition.
If you want to change something about your social situation (no shame if not tho!) you could maybe check out a local volunteer project? I'm not super good at having friends cuz ADHD, so I usually end up joining volunteer projects and get my social needs filled there. People are usually super chill and friendly, everyone will be happy to have you there and you're also doing a useful thing.
Volunteer things I've enjoyed doing:
- teaching kids how to code
- volunteering in a maker space
- educating about sustainable agriculture
- helping at the local food bank
Hi mr.Brutalmoose, we missed you, I hope you never stop putting jazz in ur videos it is so calming
ian, this is absolutely amazing. i haven't even made it through the intro yet and it always brings a smile to my face watching your videos
editing is always so spot on, i also started clapping and cheering when you said marinara sauce
The editing on this one... chef's kiss.
And the whole thing is even more alien to me considering I've never been to the US and I don't know any of the brands you're talking about
The edition, scripting and overall video is just amazing. I love the use of low poly elements, mixed media, absurdity and humor. Each and every one of your videos is a work of art by itself to be enjoyed, one at a time, but this one is a masterpiece ^^
So much effort put into this video I love it 😂 brutalmoose is my new favourite channel.
