Hey thank you for watching! Sorry about the crunchy mic audio. I’m getting a new mic more that’s suited to hand-handling than that one is, so it should be fixed next video.
This series is the kind of thing you'd see on adult swim at 1:30 am everyday for 2 weeks and then have it all uploaded onto youtube 6 months later without any context
This channel is the epitome of how immaculate editing can elevate someone sitting in their kitchen eating frozen foods. Thank you for the video, cannot wait for your next upload!
I like how it’s edited with shopping between every review. It makes me feel like Ian went to the store and then home to eat a frozen thing and then back to the store like a little holiday goblin.
The censoring of "Food Network" actually made me lose my shit. I don't think brutalmoose get's even a fraction of the credit he deserves for the really fantastic editing in these videos. I don't think there's a single other UA-cam channel that could genuinely make me excited to watch a grown man eat TV dinners and other pre-prepared foods.

It's really nice the owners of all these places let Ian film there. I can only imagine how hard it was to convince the amusement park to let him take meatloaf on a rollercoaster
“Hopefully it’ll still be good” he says as he opens the microwave and is greeted by a pie that looks like it’s breathing and has lost some of its contents.
Such an awful idea... Somehow simultaneously hot and uncooked. But I really don't know what he expected, it's a $1 pie that he put in the microwave. Like it was never going to resemble a crust. That's not how microwaves work.
it was a brisk late friday night with my good pal sam when he whispers to me "look up dinner on youtube and watch the first video" and this is what comes up. Absolutely incredible.
It's like he just shot the footage, and then waited until editing to decide what would be the funniest, most oddball background for whatever is happening on screen. The bats legitimately made me do a double-take. Had to replay that moment.
The fact that he burnt those bagels really made me feel bad. But the fact that he tried to make another one, only to burn it AGAIN just straight up murdered me-
I used to have that same toaster oven, only under a different brand, you cant follow instructions with that thing, its temperature control is just awful, you could set it to lightly toast and it would just burn the crap out of bread. Ian deff needs to just watch it cook and pull it out when he feels its ready.
You should take a look at Mike Jeavons. He has trouble with everything, so when he gets to use the microwave he manages to screw it up as well. But that's what makes it so entertaining.
Also doesn't understand why his bagel kept burning on the top despite the fact he kept placing literally half an inch under a red hot *TOASTER OVEN* element... which is entirely different from a NORMAL OVEN... you can KINDA use a toaster oven as an oven if you use some foil on top of the baking tray and stick it on the LOWER SHELF or ONLY TURN ON THE LOWER element... but otherwise, the way he was using it is essentially like a Grill on steroids. Ugh... and when it says slit the top of the pie... he obviously doesn't understand WHY it says to slit it because all he does it put some 'scratches' ontop instead of slits... which is exactly why half the filling blew out the side and its why the damn pie was breathing with constant build up of steam inside and NO SLIT FOR IT TO ESCAPE... fuck this whole thing is just a dumpster fire of incompetence. I love every minute of it
Stouffers is straight up quality across the board! I love the meatloaf dinner and have had it dozens of times, though I usually don't like to microwave them 'cause it seems like 90% of stuff tastes worse that way. The Alaskan pollock fish filet with mac & cheese is another one of my faves, but again it's one of those where it's better baked than microwaved, or else the fish crust comes out soggy. The salisbury steak with mac & cheese is also great, maybe not quite as "meaty" as the Meatloaf, but the taste is still there.

After this video, on my next grocery trip I made an effort to find and grab a box of these Stouffer's Meatloaf meals Ian was raving about. I could only find a "large size" box, which includes 2 loaves and oddly doesn't seem to have any gravy in the mashed potatoes proper, they were plain with some green scallions or herbs or whatever, and I had to mix the meatloaf gravy in myself. The large size box also for some reason doesn't have the "cook for X time, then cook again for Y time on 50% power" instruction, it just says to cook for 7 and a half minutes, end statement. It's just kinda weird how different these two boxes of the same meal are. "Why is my sister's name Rose, dad?
"Because your mother loves roses son."
"Oh ok, thanks dad!"
"No problem Instant Holiday Dinner - Frozen Foods Reviews"
Not funny.
@@APoliticalConfusionAndMess Joke police is here. You not funny Raphael says Victoria.
@@APoliticalConfusionAndMess Looks like you're not having a very good Thanksgiving. (I hope you're trolling, cause at least you'd be having some fun then!) You might be more cheerful if you didn't read the comments. Hopefully the rest of your day gets brighter.
@@APoliticalConfusionAndMess I agree the joke is overdone, but I still enjoyed it.
I feel like I am watching 20 different youtube videos at the same time everytime I watch Ian's video
I have ADHD and Ian's videos are one of the few that I can watch while doing nothing else. Don't need to draw or play videogames or anything, because it's just so stimulating from both a visual and auditory perspective. A+++ content all around
9:23 - 10:28 The greatest montage of Ian’s sounds to date.
and the fact that the first thing he says after is "little disappointing" lmao
Except it's missing PLOP
This is the best gift we could’ve gotten
Seeing Ian actually like one of these TV dinners is really satisfying omg
Who else loves it when he says “grin bins” instead of “green beans”
those Meatloaf meals saved my life (while shortening it at the same time) while working at a grocery store, but they are by far the best frozen dinner
are we not gonna talk about the pie legit being alive when he opened the microwave
the way it’s shot is like a scene of someone seeing their child for the first time
The apples inside were so hot they started popping slightly and it made the pie move
@@AaronNew78 no it was definitely sentient
Everyone’s obsessed with exposing the Lizardmen, meanwhile no one is even giving a moment’s glance towards the true puppet masters: The Pie People!
@@washedblue whoa so cray cray...
Brutalmoose is the only youtuber that can make me laugh out loud with his edits. When he explained the rules, I already lost it :D
I literally died when you said you were gonna do another one in the oven and somehow knew you were gonna burn it again.
Rest In Peace Jacques Lindeque
Rewatching this is like a holiday tradition for me, it’s just too perfect.
I was hoping ian would bust out the air fryer for those crispy beans
Ian went pretty wacky crazy with the editing in this one
He did say in his blog that this one would be "like no other"
It's so fun
Is this an outlier, I've been watching his old vids and this one just kinda lost the magic of him sitting in his kitchen with 10 cameras and awkwardly plodding his way through the whole thing, with the editing added in layers. This is just ALL EDITING! I cant really watch it.
@@DruNature nah its amazing
He wanted to give us the full fall vibe
Three years later, we finally have meatloaf with #TomatoesForBecky
Only two likes? I'm mad now 😡🤬😤
It’s moments like these that restore my faith in our corporate overlords
For some reason brutalmoose is the only food reviews I like to watch, it keeps me interested unlike other type of food reviews.
"After eating that Stoffers La[MEATLOAF]"

@Egg T w-what?
"chef ian brutalfoods is here to make the holidays a better place for every adult and child around the globe (but not for the elderly)"

I love how you put sound effects over your chewing. RESPECT to you my friend. Chewing is my pet peeve and no one knows how to eat nowa days nor gives a crap who hears it
I’ve met this guy three different times, all of them were different people,of course, but still I’ve pretty much met the guy
Hahaha I was just thinking how much he reminded me of one of my buddies!
We all have him as a friend. If you don't you are him.
I definitely see this guy atleast a few times a year.
@@terminator572 Yep, I'm him
I actually sort of met him on a livestream, he was playing deathrun on roblox and i joined (the stream is on youtube, i left a timecode in the comments)

Why do I have the urge to take 4 showers now and still not feel cleansed..

To be fair, you microwaved a pie on a ceramic plate. You cooked the plate more than anything else. xD
He also didn't actually slit the top as much as he scratched at it.
yeah he should use metal or something
@Oren Black You can microwave metal
Lol seriously. I'm kind of surprised that he doesn't acknowledge that he microwaved a pie, and maybe that's why it was so awful. And it was like a raw pie. You can't "bake" raw pie crust in a microwave. That's not how microwaves work.
@@FluwufyMETAL??? In the microwave?
To think this video connects with the memory of the last Thanksgiving I ever got to spend with my dad is crazy
First line: "Welcome Brutal Foods" Am I a food?
A few moments later: "Home Aloners." ... Idk who I am anymore lolol
What a sweet holiday treat!!
The editing was so trippy it almost made me forget that the world is on fire. 11/10 crispy gren bens.
He's a terrible cook and he admits it and that kind of honestly is what I am here for
Have you seen that fried chicken video where he showed his recipe though? I followed it and twas fire
Ian, your editing is amazing. The silliness, the nostalgia, especially the AOL instant messenger sound effects whilst opening/closing things. Funny stuff🙃
Your editing is impeccable. That alongside your perfectly timed spoken humor makes even TV Dinners an absolute riot.
When Santa says "give me those festive beans" that's 110% Ian speaking, you can't fool me Santa.
The editing in this video makes me feel like I’m having a manic episode.
And I love that.
I think this is the first time you've actually expressed enjoyment for a tv dinner. I'm actually intrigued. I'll give it a try.
