@@tui8674 he already is tbh. Not officially, but If it weren’t for him UA-cam as a platform wouldn’t be what it is today, or at least not entirely. Most YTer’s in the gaming community will say that james is what either inspired them or helped influenced them to do what they do.
His humor and videos are timeless and amazingly innovative at the time.

As someone who always had a strong interest in video games,
i highly can relate to his experiences beginning with the Atari2600.
AVGN is the perfect nostalgia therapy for me.

I believe the tank game "Norman" on Action 52 refers to Stormin' Norman Schwarzkopf, the leader of the US forces in Desert Storm.

Old episodes of AVGN is therapy for me. Like it make me feel like I can be myself and feel like it’s ok to sit at home in solitude and not be productive. Watching it every day. I guess it’s a reality escape for me.

The same with the third encounter with Scarecrow in Batman Arkham Asylum. Even after replaying it several times, there is a split second when I think the game had crashed, before reminding myself it's part of the game. Even so, I was still afraid it may have crashed for real.

The end of the ROB episode playing the Simon's Quest ending music, over the classic box art, actually gave me chills of nostalgic pride and admiration for the Nerd's genuine love of Castlevania and the NES as a whole.
I had no idea the Cat Mario overworld music came from Cheetahmen. What a way for an obscure game to get recognition lol

Yes, this is the golden era of AVGN. Its comparable to seasons 4-8 of The Simpsons.
Season 4 for me.
I feel like AVGN seasons late 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and early 7 are my favorites.
My favorite will always be season 3 but Action 52 is one of the best episodes for sure!
Season 2 and 3 will always be my personal favourite just for the nostalgia 🙏

The Action 52 episode is my go to for showing people peak AVGN.
I would love to see James try his hand at doing the Angry Movie Nerd. I think it would be a nice way for him to incorporate something he's more passionate about and still give people the kind of content they like and expect from him.
