The reaction to Biden's press conference being "good' is comparative to the complete disaster he was at the debate. The only way he could've fallen below that bar is if he pulled a McConnell and just stared out at the room. For me it all just compounded his existing problems, and his diehard supporters are refusing to accept reality.

He did perfectly fine in that press conference. He gave lucid and detailed answers on a variety of questions that you could never pray to answer. You are just a media parrot with no mind of your own.

What's happening in Houston is insane. It's supposedly the energy corridor but every time they have a storm the grid goes down. Also the outage maps are inaccurate because my families home says it has power but they don't.
I live in Texas and every time it’s crickets from the secessionists here.
And yet, voters re-elected Gov Abbott yet again by a wide margin, after the winter storm which killed over 700 Texans, exposed the grid for what it is, and Hurricane Harvey, plus our constant flooding. And where are all the billions we got to fix this? He left the country on Friday, when we knew Beryl had a chance of coming here, for a trip to Asia to bring business to Texas. Having a great time, so he tweets, as we suffer. But tell me, what company in its right mind would come to Texas, esp Houston, when our infrastructure can't even withstand a cat 1 hurricane, a derecho, or a stalled tropical storm? And he and the unqualified Lt Gov are playing politics with local officials and the White House. They hate Houston, which is very blue and went huge for Biden, and probably AIPAC Beto, with Dem city and county leaders. That's another story, but this needs an investigative journalist. The government in Austin has taken over our elections, which they can now invalidate, and taken over HISD from its elected school board. So it fits that they wouldn't be excited about helping us now. We can fall into the ocean for all they care, less blue votes. Fault remains to be seen, but ten to one it's the same old corruption and party boss politics. Dems aren't innocent on that score,, eiither.

Sam wants to run away from all the free press and buzz a mini primary or open convention would create. The spectacle allows them to really hammer Trump and create energy around their candidate. Spectacle is super important and shouldn’t be avoided but embraced.
I mean, the debate was a spectacle too…
This was the most Emma has deliberated it I think but Sam keeps shutting it down full stop lol. Ryan articulated it really well
Just seems like the best way to win, actually testing the candidate especially since voters feel robbed of a primary.

@@TheGreatAtario Yes, and look at its effect. A mini primary would be an event akin to the Superbowl. A powerful reshaping of the political conversation. I think it is a tremendous opportunity to bury MAGA and Trump. As it stands now, I fear we are crawling towards disaster. It is a risk that doesn’t have to be taken. The rally around the candidate moment and our issues would propel the campaign forward.

Forgive me for judging you, but I think you both are very intelligent. I wonder how you came to put on your show? Could you do a feature on the chronological series of events that led to your show? I would be interested in both of your backgrounds, how you met, etc. Thank you and please carry on.
If you keep watching / listening you’ll learn it as they often talk about their background to give some context or insight into something they’re talking about.
Sam was on rough times, after his third divorce. He was destitute, homeless, an alcoholic, abusing heroin and CBD.
