Harbor Freight bead breaker - Fire in the hole!

- In today's video I review the harbor freight bead breaker. My bead buster 450 broke on me. I'll also show how to remove and remount a tire. Be very careful when doing fire in the hole. Do not attempt without a permit and a baptism.

Anytime you have a thread being used over and over again whether it be on this beat breaker or three jaw puller what have you The threads got to be lubricated if they're not lubricated they will strip out a lot faster

I ordered one of these yesterday. It's off Ebay in the UK but looks identical, at least in the pictures. Will see what actually turns up. The cost is significantly less, about $34. May be it's made of cheap metal compared to yours. Time will tell.
I bought bead breaker and it works but found a million other way to do it without this tool. Wasted my money. Just takes some patience using other method shown on youtube......
Hmmm like what? To me the bead buster is the easiest and fastest. I have used other methods
Always grease the threads and thread in and out the bolts to spread the grease inside before using.

Let's see if the bead breaker put any gouges inside the rim. I can't see using this on chrome or mag wheels.
I wouldn’t use this on nice rims. Harbor freight does sell a bigger one that is for those but it’s junk

Planning to get one of this. Discount Tire refused to patch my tire based on their policy then convinced to buy a new tire. I’m gonna buy this to patch it.
Just keep in mind this might not be the best for super nice rims.
I have the bead buster 450. The weak link is the nuts strip out. Welded on new nuts and good to go
