What I really like about your vids is that you film every single thing and you don’t use that annoying montage music. I also suggest to fly on thePhilippine airlines a350. It also has the latest buisness class product of PAL.

5:20 hmm i think these are farmlands because in July you don't get this kind of green in Iraq, Erbil weather right now is 41c and there is no rain so it shouldn't be green lol in Baghdad it's 44c in Basra it's almost 50c !

I enjoyed the video, because I also traveled on Austrian last year. At that time, I tried Do&Co a la carte. The business class meal was interesting.

Just so you know Felix, Erbil (also called Arbil), airport was a military airport until about 1990 when it was turned into civilian airport hence the small size and the limited facilities.

Will you be flying iraqi airways, I’ve seen that they’ve put a massive order on both 787s and a220s.

Does this mean Iraqi Airways is coming up? Their 747s have a whopping 74 business class seats. And they have A220s coming soon.

Exactly, not booked yet and we’ll only do flights from Erbil or Sulaimaniyah as TWOV isn’t available at the other Iraqi airports. Austrian citizens can only enter Kurdistan without a visa.

Behind Turkish and Aegean they offer the best European biz product mainly due to the impressive Do&Co catering on board. Of the LH group Austrian is the best choice in C.

Excellent trip report. I wonder what meal service, if any, they provide in Y Class on this flight -- buy on board or is it something better? Just curious as this route is really medium haul and not within Europe.
Austrian does not offer buy on board catering on any flights. :) On this particular flight they provide a full hot meal in Economy Class...

is this a one time flight? I cant believe there is a lot of traffic between northern Iraq and Austria
Lufthansa routes all their German passengers onto this flight with a EuroWings/Austrian connection from German airports to Vienna. So this is the main flight for all Star Alliance flights
The next time you go to America can you fly on frontier
You would think for the extra cost of a first/business class seat, you would get free WiFi. Flying domestically in the USA, I don't think I have ever had free WiFi when flying in first/business.

How many business class passengers were there? The view of the cabin at 1.53 looks like it was just 2 rows of C class. The crew was 'too busy' to offer a welcome drink 'preparing the cabin for departure' .. sound like a lazy lot to me.
Is the euro-business seat in C class really appropriate for this route? 3 X 3 seating (presumably the centre seat is left vacant?) and no IFE except paid-for wi-fi (assuming you have an appropriate device with you). The legroom looks ok in row 1, but what was it like in row 2? From the view of the cabin at 1.53 looks as if the poor passenger seated in the aisle seat in row 2 couldn't get his legs in. Look how he is sitting with his knees out in the aisle. Looks as if it was the disgraceful 30 inch seat pitch that they offer in C on their European flights. The meal was passible I guess, but surely 'meat loaf' is a bit cheap isn't it? The main course also looked rather oily. Not exactly an 'awesome' business class meal as some seem to believe from the comments.

Austrian is a pretty good airline. The only disadvantage is that the typical European business class configuration on their single aisle planes which is really sad.
Jordan Jackson well that’s because most of the time these aircrafts used to fly short flights (1-2 hours) for which you have to be flexibel with C-Class size! It won‘t make sence to use fix C-Class Seats for a few middle-haul routes!

Everything was perfect, but something is missing which is in flight entertainment. Wish Austrian Airlines can provided in flight entertainment app for those A319, A320, A321 passenger.
