It's good to see a SFF build and review. There's some really great cases out to choose from if you up the budget for them. I built mine in NR200P v1 some years ago. As it is a little larger I could fit the Phantom Spirit CPU cooler to my 7700X. Wow - it's a good cooler at a budget price. The one piece of experience I'd share, ahead of number of M.2 drives etc, is that case fans and layout is really important. In a washing machine sized case you can brute force air in. With a SFF case you need finesse. I'd stay away from small fans, stick to 120 or 140 if you can fit them. Also buy good case fans. Don't cheap out on these. They make a great difference to cooling and noise. I'd also have the top fans set to exhaust and intake everywhere else you can fit them.
I still have a NR200P as well, still a great case. Really liking these cases that are compact, but not to the point where they become a hassle to work with.

Inno3D GeForce RTX 4070 Super Twin X2 is the third best cooling model among the dual-fan 4070s models. The 5 heat pipes do a great job. My PNY4070S dual has three pipes and a small heatsink, so it doesn't cool. I just started up a benchmark software at room temperature of 17°C, and the core temperature was 78°C and the hotspot was 103°C. A higher load in Monster Hunter would give you 80-105. In Japan, the PNY4070S is widely available on the second-hand market. It sells well because it's cheap, but its cooling performance is by far the worst, so everyone quickly gets rid of it. I still own a pny and while I still talk bad about it, I may be the person who loves the pny4070s dual the most.
Regarding DeepCool in the US, the state department sanctioned and banned them as a result of them selling hardware to Russia. Given the lack of discussion since the initial ban some 4 months ago, I wouldn't exactly hold my breath for their products making it back on the US market anytime soon. Anyways, I always enjoy your content, Nada & team! Nice to see an SFF focused build here!
I honestly don't know the details but I wouldn't count on it suddenly being available any time soon I guess. But glad the build is appreciated! I did spot a few very similar looking off-brand cases on Amazon.com, might see if I can find one of those over here to compare :)
Just bought the same itx case for CAD 67! it is great, small and easy to build in. I also went with the same cooler. Thanks for NOT USING the assassin 4 cooler, like the vast majority of you tubers.
That's a nice price! And I don't think it makes sense to use a cooler that costs more than the case, especially for a 90 Watt CPU :) It would for an old i7/i9 though.
Deepcool CH160 is a fantastic case I've been using for a few months, but it was a bítçh to find in the EU. I live in the Czech Republic, and I saw nothing at all here. I got mine from a German shop. Cooler Master NR200P mentioned in the description may be your only suitable option here. In addition, that little bit more space really comes in handy while installing everything. The downside is the price. It's close to €100, but you may be able to cram your old ATX power supply in to save a buck.
Yeah supply has been pretty limited. They're available here but not in big numbers, and the price does fluctuate now between 60 and 70 euros. Still not a lot of money for this case tbh. NR200P remains great, often cheap as well. Z20 I haven't seen yet.

It looks sooo great. I really wanted a small PC but because I also wanted a 13900k that needs a 360mm radiator to be kept cool I had to get an Asus Prime AP201. It is still small and cute compared to a full tower case.
This is basically the build I currently have but with the deepcool assassin iv cpu cooler and the gigabyte rx 7800xt GPU and the temps never go over 70c, it can get a tad noisy but nothing headphones can’t cancel out
If you only have a 1080p monitor but also have a strong gpu from nvidia you can use DLDSR to have the game rendered at 1440p, looks really well with dlss on quality while doing this.
Pretty sure you would get better thermals by adding a duct from the back to CPU cooler as intake, only fresh air would reach the cooler this way and makes quite a difference. I find this unique ITX case interesting because of ports on the side below the window which makes sense to have it on display on your desk with easy access to ports.
The Twin X2 version of the Ti Super uses exactly the same cooler design, so you could reuse the whole build with a Ti Super instead. Just check what I wrote in the pinned message re: 7800X3D, or wait for 9000-series.
Noise is pretty much what you make of it with cases like this. I always (try to) limit my builds to 40 dB(A) at 50cm under load. But you could easily keep it even quieter if you wanted to.
Great build! I would have went with the Noctua NH-U12A Chromax Black personally (if compatible). I'm cooling my i7-14700k with it and even pulling 150W it stays in the 75-80c range.
Hi Nada, I am not interested in these smaller PCs. I always go for full tower cases. I love your new clothes because you look so beautiful in them. Regardless of what you review, I will always give you and your reviews a thumbs up.
@TechTesters It needed a few mods to get it to run silent at low loading but once done, it makes a great case. I bought it for £200 which was a bargain - the psu, aio, and gen 4 riser was worth that alone.
A 7900 GRE is about 40 eur cheaper here iirc. But with any significant amount of gaming and our local energy prices you'd save that money back within a year by taking the 4070 Super. 16 GB VRAM is nice, but at this point I don't think I can argue that 1440p native is better than 1440p with DLSS (Quality) anymore.
First, let's say "affordable" is relative to the contents of anyone's wallet. Having said that, I would expect anything "affordable" costing a mid-range price max. This build is clearly more expensive than that, in my view.
But it's hard to find a motherboard with itx form factor in budget build plus itx motherboards are lacking in expansion slots due to a tight itx build so for future upgradation it might give problems and Some Airflow issues may also arise in future. Although it's a great build and I personally Like it so much as portability and performance both seem promised but personally searched about this and found these issues. I am planning to put an rtx 4070 with either R5 7700x or an i7 13700k
Fair, but to be honest most builds I see never use more expansion slots than the GPU. As for airflow problems, I'd say it's easier to keep this system clean and running well than most ATX builds.
@TechTesters So for like If I Wanted to upgrade it to rtx 4080 or 90 in future so for that The power supply ot even intense gaming oriented CPU I may consider for future upgradation, will it does the job or like I may be require to upgrade this whole to ATX ? More Gaming Performance with 4080s + 7600 . 7800x3d is the same fps on 4k as 7600 but double the Price. Also with 4070s is most of the time to slow for 4k.
ITX motherboards appear to have not the best power supply components , while I looking for B550 motherboard for my 5950, hardware unbox had a very amazing comparison sheet about temperature and power. some couldn't even support normal overclocking
I'm planning to build in that Fractal Terra case and I already checked that I can only fit ~60mm height for CPU cooler (I think I'll pick ID Cooling IS-55). I'm planning for this CPU+GPU combo at first but I don't think the cooler is sufficient for 7800X3D. Will the 7900 non-X be a decent alternative?
The Terra is a lovely case. But CPU Cooler space is definitely limited, especially with a larger GPU As for the CPU, there is almost no difference in power use between a 7800X3D and 7900. If you can cool one, you can cool the other. The same with the 7700, it doesn't really change anything power wise. If you want to mostly game, I'd probably wait for 9000 X3D reviews. For mostly work, I think the 7900 at a good price will be hard to beat. And you can always tune the power consumption down a little bit in bios without hurting performance too much anyway.
@TechTesters Thx for the response... I play games casually and it's not the top priority. Productivity wise, I mostly do editing (rarely 4K) with davinci resolve and lots of encoding using Handbrake. So I guess 7900 is the better choice? Oh and it's also ~€70 cheaper in my region.
I used to use a ton of ASRock boards years ago. But lately I haven't had as much confidence in them. But, I should be testing a couple soon. Hoping they can change my mind!
See the pinned comment :) At the time I put this together the 7800X3D was ~330-340 euros, making it an obvious choice. Right now it's about 480 euros, so I would pick a 7700X instead.
@@TechTesters I'm sorry, but it sounds "out of touch", because affordable should be "play anything and everything at 1080p, even doing well at 1440p" based on steam survey: 1920 x 1080 - 57.32%+1.59%, 2560 x 1440 - 19.71%-2.02%.
@@TechTesters Thanks. I have the exact same GPU but flashed with Gigabyte bios so the power slider goes up to 145%, and in that setting it pulls 275 watts during 3DMark benchmarks. This is why I was confused why its pulling 291W in normal operation haha.
This was made when prices were different. Currently the 7800x3d is roughly $780 Canadian. It went up about 200 dollars cause they are phasing it out for the new cpus. November 6th? 🤔
Isn't the problem with ITX systems the amount of pci-e busses? For this instance, the 4070 Super wouldn't be able to run on full power because it can't use all of its necessary busses.
I think you're mistaken. Usually the only limitation in an itx build is poor cooling or, if used, a riser cable which isn't gen 4 or above. My 4070 ti super runs just fine in my itx build.
Isn't the issue with Deepcool related with the Russian agression in Ukraine ? Being so, as an European in Belgium, I don't appreciate this video. Thumbs down.
@@cgomes1607 no a dislike is fine, the reason why is extreme tho. and to think you have some special status cause you are from belgium...my my...you do know she herself is from belgium or the netherlands too right? next to that, the USA banned deepcool, while you live in the EU...and deepcool isnt even banned in the EU, but you give her a dislike cause she showcases something thats not even banned in your own country and her own country...not extreme at all, totally sane behavior🙄

As for the CPU, there is almost no difference in power use between a 7800X3D and 7900.
Can I use NR200 case instead of the NR200P?
I don't see why not :)
If only the 7800x3d was still ~$350
So it's really 3000 € setup rn a affordable?
Hm?
oh also you have 291watt gpu power consumption on a graph while you say the right value which is 219 watts
Added to the pinned comment, thank you!
well asrock b650i lightning is a way better mobo, but i know you have issues with asrock :(
I used to use a ton of ASRock boards years ago. But lately I haven't had as much confidence in them. But, I should be testing a couple soon. Hoping they can change my mind!
"small, fast and affordable" perfectly described my ex
AMD WOW YES!!
Someone is a fan :D
Isn't 7800X3D an overkill for 4070 unless you are playing competitive with those 500+ hz monitors.
See the pinned comment :) At the time I put this together the 7800X3D was ~330-340 euros, making it an obvious choice. Right now it's about 480 euros, so I would pick a 7700X instead.
😊

DAmn, i hate Glass panel :( my preference, dont
The power cable 😂😂😂😂 why????
It can't really go anywhere else easily? :)
@@TechTesters random unplugging or melting chances is high thanks to this design, its AC 220-240v.
Am i live in different timeline, but 1500 is not affordable? More like 1000 should be, no?
Affordable is relative. I'd say 1500 is a nice price for a system that can play anything and everything at 1440p, even doing well at 4K?
@@TechTesters I'm sorry, but it sounds "out of touch", because affordable should be "play anything and everything at 1080p, even doing well at 1440p" based on steam survey: 1920 x 1080 - 57.32%+1.59%, 2560 x 1440 - 19.71%-2.02%.
affordable??? If you have money to burn!🤕
Exactly what i was thinking, is not really affordable.
yeah builds good but I'd go with a 7600 and a 6800 xt off ebay (16 gb vram) 600 all together other than that it's cool but up there in price.
@@andyderp6473 Thank You

ty!
that GPU should not be pulling 290 watts, something is wrong here.
Pinned comment :) I say 219 correctly, the graph incorrectly says 291.
@@TechTesters Thanks. I have the exact same GPU but flashed with Gigabyte bios so the power slider goes up to 145%, and in that setting it pulls 275 watts during 3DMark benchmarks. This is why I was confused why its pulling 291W in normal operation haha.
Please give me this one❤😊
Save money go to Ryzen 7 7700x or 7700 non x or Ryzen 5'7600x 7800x3d is expensive little bit xd
Yeah I added that to the pinned comment. The X3D is too expensive now :-/
This was made when prices were different. Currently the 7800x3d is roughly $780 Canadian. It went up about 200 dollars cause they are phasing it out for the new cpus. November 6th? 🤔
the build is about 1700€ for me. does not seem that affordable
It was 1500 at the time I put it together. Most of the gap is due to the 7800X3D spiking in price lately :-/
I might pin a comment about that.
100 dollars..
What is? :)
@TechTesters cost...
XD
Isn't the problem with ITX systems the amount of pci-e busses? For this instance, the 4070 Super wouldn't be able to run on full power because it can't use all of its necessary busses.
That's a motherboard thing. My 4070ti is Gen5 x16 on a B760i but it's at Gen 4 due to the riser cable
I think you're mistaken. Usually the only limitation in an itx build is poor cooling or, if used, a riser cable which isn't gen 4 or above. My 4070 ti super runs just fine in my itx build.
It has a pci gen 4 x16 slot, enough for a 4090.
There are limitations of course, but your single GPU will be completely fine :)
PS5 pro is suck!!
Can I have free pc?
Why bother building it? It will cause more trouble and be more expensive.
Isn't the issue with Deepcool related with the Russian agression in Ukraine ? Being so, as an European in Belgium, I don't appreciate this video. Thumbs down.
leftist extremist at its finest
extreme left behavior at its finest
@thedawn-rt9rx Just saying the US banned their products for a reason. Put a like is ok, but if I dislike I'm extreme left? Sure.
It's a PC case dipshit. Grow up.
