U guys need to make it separate. And slow the front down a tiny bit. Make sure the rear lower control arms aim uphill toward the body. Car needs the rear compression stiffened so it dont sink, and lower rear extension dampening to let it separate. Torque arm cars need separation. The separation effect pushes the tires into the ground as the body rises.

I have it setup right now where it stays neutral if it sinks it maybe 1/4 inch. It already hits the tire hard enough on street. Front end we tightened up 3 more clicks from last session where it went faster. Next time out tighten front up another 3 probably.

@Nasty04Z06 needs to not sink at all and start separation asap when it launches. Whats ur lower control arm angle at?

I agree. Deff need to separate to plant the tire & stay hooked, especially on this surface.

@@BmoreFoxI've been at this street prep non prep for a long time. Don't listen to everyone so call advice. Unless you want to slow up and upset the car. On a slick like y'all got. You want the bk to squat and frount end to give or lift up just enough not to upset the rear end. On a Et street pro drag radiol type tire . Yes you want the rear end to push up and serpent. But in a bad road you want the car to squat so the slicks can do there job and wrinkle while also not dead hooking. But hooking while spinning but still making good momentum. Idn how he got the 2 confused. But trust me that's what you want. The car as it sits now and testing is working pretty good as it is. You can slow a car down by trying to make to many adjustments and over thinking. And making any more than one adjustment at the same time. Is not Wise. You want to make adjustments one adj at a time. So you know what is really helping or hurting you vs trying to figure out between 3,4 adjustments all at one time.

@@god1st.530 the black trans am is set up to squat. My fox is set up with 120% anti squat on the street with a slick. 160% anti squat on a radial at the track. You can’t make a fox squat unless you have a narrowed rear & mini tubs. Squatting works but not ideal. You want to plant the tire & keep it planted on bad surfaces while letting the slick work as a cushion.
