Owners in car shows say all sorts of things about the history, emotion or 'spirit' of their cars, but in truth they really just think it "looks sick and it's the shit". Nice video guys.

Anything over 600hp in a street sportscar meant to be driven daily seems pointless.

Love these. I'm 50 years old and back in 2002 (17 years ago) these cars were very expensive. Couldn't afford it. Now, they are old and you can get them currently for about 7-11k depending on condition. I agree that you really dont need more HP. These were in the 300 hp range. Just put in a HP cam and new exhaust and you can have that awesome idle sound like you were enjoying at the stop light. It'll put a smile on your face every time.
I agree. My T/A is at 450 with an auto, and it's more than enough for the street and have to be really careful especially if road is wet at all. You always long for more but this is more than enough for any practical purpose
+Dash Cam California I agree, 1000rwhp is too much for the street for sure. I think 550-600rwhp is about the max for the street because it's too hard to put the power down.

You're looking at a classic car. People will still be buying, selling, modding and driving these cars in 30 years. And the prices they'll be fetching will blow our minds.
Chris Axelson my dad had a 02 ws6 with a 76mm turbo. forgot all he had done to it but it ran 12.3 on a non prep track. he only got $16,500 for it. sucks how much the value goes down when you put mods on a car :(
That's still a lot of money. I have an 03 SSEi Bonneville that I recently bought for around 6k. MSRP of a fully loaded SSEi was a few thousand dollars more than a TA sold the same year.
02 Convertible Ws6 was around 32k, 02 SSEi was around 34k. That's a good illustration of the difference in regular car values vs potentially classic car prices. No one is looking to buy a Bonneville as a classic car. Although I still fuckin love mine, regardless.
I bought a super clean 95 Camaro with a V6 5speed for 2,000 Canadian $ . When the engine goes it will be replaced with a junkyard LS . These cars are horribly undervalued , unless they were a special model . And that makes no sense at all , Try finding one for sale . My 88 RS was stolen and never recovered , because to the right person they are worth a lot . Insurance only paid 3,200 $ for a car i couldn't even find a replacement for . Even my 95 handles like a boat compared to the 88 RS , that car was the best handling car i've ever driven .
303StreetMachines press X to doubt, so many factors go into it ever been in a 300hp Civic? I am almost certain you can destroy 500hp mustangs with a 300hp Civic
The WS6 Ram Air T/A was one of the baddest looking muscle cars. My father in law bought one for his wife to replace her GTA Trans An not realizing what a beast it was. It was too much power for her so I took it off her hands and had a good friend do some mods bringing the rear wheel hp to 430 per dyno. Daily driver for 13 years, put just over 226,000 miles on it. Planning a complete teardown for this summer. Looking to get it to about 650hp.
I had that exact car only in fire engine red. I took it to the Buick Grand Nationals and there was a dyno set up and for $100 you could get a quick check of your setup. They also told you weight and balance, hp to weight, all that stuff. Mine produced 310hp 288 lbs torque and was nose heavy 60%/40% and perfect side to side. Total stock
Had one when I was 16. My grandparents always bought their grandchildren new cars when they turned 16. Of course I chose a black WS6 Trans Am! I had to sell it a long time ago but this car still holds a special place in my heart, along with my grandparents.
+Chad W Why didn't you know America is a continent , not a country , Canada is by far the biggest chunk and Mexico and Guatemala are part of that same continent oh lets not forget all of south America to .
Im an 06 baby so I’m into cars like hellcats charger or challenger but I was on the highway and one of these bad boys passed me while driving I instantly fell in love with how menacing it looked from the front. I WANT ONE NOW
I live in England. These cars are really rare in England. I would love to have this and show it off at car meet in England. I would love to have a car what no one else would have and this is one of them. What a car
I wish some of the youtubers that do great edits and make great car content would give American classics like this more love. Japanese builds are getting tired.
You killed it with this video! Awesome sound, the shots taken were super cool ! Love everything about it. The owner of that car is funny AF too. Keep it up !
I drove one to work one night when my buddy couldnt make it home.. It wasnt supposed to snow until after I got out of work... Drove sideways 3 miles home and had to drive around town to skip the hills. I love that car, no need for pro chargers or anything like that. It will get you to mcdonalds and back before the commercial break is over, I assure you ;)
There is nothing like a WS6 NOSTRILS coming up behind you down the highway... the road presence is impressive. Take it from a guy who works on the Audi GT3 LMS for Audi Sport Customer Racing. I love the R8 and its freaking engineered to the point but these Trans AMs are blunt, brutal and on a different level. I am getting one #audi4life
@@chadhickey9527 I am very well aware they are stablemates. Put them side by side and it becomes obvious which one had more thought put into the design
@@GroinFaceGroin I can’t agree with you. A firebird v6 or a formula look so ugly and incomplete. The camaro ss or the SLP are good looking machines. Camaro has so many more options like the RS/SS/Z28/SLP. I would take a Trans Am but can’t agree about it being incomplete.
People used to be so creative and original with these cars. I mean look at the shape of that car! Nothing looks similar to it, the curves, everything looks amazing. These days we just have car brands copying other car brands. Seriously, what happened?? Love the Trans-Am though, I’m thinking of getting the same year model.
Gorgeous car. This has long been a top 5 for me, for styling and the great usage of the LS1. Ahmed did a fantastic job on this car and he has great taste overall.
I own a trans am similar to this one it gets attention (for better or worse) it starts a conversation everywhere you go the only thing that sucks about it is that it scares passenger's and eats gas you'll think 20 mpg is on the good side of v8 gas mileage but they burn 93 octane not the cheap stuff. I still wouldn't have it any other way. just avoid rain and anyone with a badge.
I fell in love in less than 13 minutes😍 Even shopping for some fat tires on this beast is such a challenge, went to every junk yard, tire shop, dealership.... nothing. So gave up & put in an online order for a G-Force set & they're finally here😊 Im so excited!
Excellent job of building that WS6 Trans Am! I just love that loping sound at the stoplight! Thanks for that build list so I know what to buy when I pick up one of these to add to my collection. I'm getting a large settlement. First on my list is the Super Duty 455 Trans Am 2017 model wih 1,000 HP, then one like yours. I love Trans Ams once they've been reworked. I'm glad you weren't hurt in that car crash bro. Again kudos to you for taking that wimpy 300 HP motor and jacking it up to 500 HP, especially in a normally aspirated vehicle.
+kingcrimson234 I hate the Camaro (TA) vs Mustang wars. What matters is we all have a passion for the same thing: V8's, RWD, and being loud as fuck. That is all that should matter.
Always loved these cars. Back in my racing days there were a few of these running around my city with nitrous. Mostly running 150hp shot. Damn they were fast.
Love that car!!! Nice, clean, fast, reliable-what more do you need?? I like superchargers, hell if I could everything I've ever owned would go straight to Hennessey, but your ws-6 is awesome like it is. Again, very nice ride, bro!!
In high school I had a built LT1 Trans Am, red,6 speed, and my brother had a black LT1 Formula. Us cruising around south St Louis are some of my favorite memories. Early 2000s were such a fun time for car enthusiasts.
Glycerin Nice bro. I've been wanting to upgrade from my current '96 RS to a Z28, SS, or if I can find one, a WS6. With an LS in those cars, they can't be beat
Cleto Duude I owned a '94 Camaro V6 for almost 5 years before I bought my WS6. Upgrade!! You'll love it. I personally prefer the Trans Am to the Camaro, so I'd say find a WS6 but def upgrade to an LS1 and sell your RS. I have the LT1 but it's still fast! I'm so happy this car found me.
I have the same heads but with a 248/254 .615 .615 and a btr equalizer intake and headers and ORY pipes and it mated really well and pulled so smooth like this as well, I made 417whp with a stage 2 4l80e and 315s on the back with 3.43s it runs faster than what a 400-450whp should drive and yeah like this guys said it’s so freaking loud you almost feel bad driving through the neighborhood 🤣

What’s you instagram to see pics guys ?
@@robertmeese6545 hell no, firebirds are sick
Beauty of a ws6, always been a huge fan of these cars.
my friends dad had this car and it was absolutely the coolest thing i had seen, oh and it was a manual. got to ride in it a few times and it sounded soo nice. you could tell my friends dad loved how it sounded too haha letting the gears run out, matting when we went under a bridge lol
PS: _500 reliable, daily driven NA horsepower is nothing to be sad about_
You're looking at a classic car. People will still be buying, selling, modding and driving these cars in 30 years. And the prices they'll be fetching will blow our minds.
This car just sold on Ebay for 16,900.00 a few weeks ago! Someone got a killer car for a deal!
Even my 95 handles like a boat compared to the 88 RS , that car was the best handling car i've ever driven .
the brakes need an upgrade, they are too small for such power.
Fuck you
@@mikehunt557 lmfao wtf
Yooo
This is America
I love his enthusiasm about his car project ❤ nice video.
with 500 hp your pretty much going to smoke anything around generally.
303StreetMachines yeah lol
@303StreetMachines 500whp still scoots
There are nearly stock trucks beating 500hp cars in 60 ft... 800 is a good number to be beating everyone
Well I guess my cousin just bought a Vette a month ago
303StreetMachines press X to doubt, so many factors go into it ever been in a 300hp Civic? I am almost certain you can destroy 500hp mustangs with a 300hp Civic
Ahmed has a car that matches his personality really well; filled with character!
Ahmed is a stereotypical Firebird owner, but in the best way possible lol. Awesome car, and props for doing a full build.
actually, change full to complete. I don't need anyone saying "it's not even close to fully built"..ya, duh.
He almost sounds like a mustang owner lol.
Yea he sounds like a mustang owner lol with money lol.
Exactly hahaha
+Sam Buffington Tuner Vs Muscle: Firebird owners say.
i love the diversity in cars you do keep up the great work
+gasdf13 Glad you're enjoying our work! :D
Total stock
Lmfaooo! At around 11:46 homeboys entire facial demeanor changed lol! He was feelin the power of that monster for real.
absolutely brutal exhaust note. love it! love that rip snort sound.
Had one when I was 16. My grandparents always bought their grandchildren new cars when they turned 16. Of course I chose a black WS6 Trans Am! I had to sell it a long time ago but this car still holds a special place in my heart, along with my grandparents.
I just picked up a 97 with 36k on the o. Love this car!!!
America never sounded better
+justin beamon *cough cough * Lt1 *cough cough*
+Makin Bacon I guess that one's good too haha
+justin beamon Yeah.
+justin beamon did mexico make v8 cars....im confused
+Chad W Why didn't you know America is a continent , not a country , Canada is by far the biggest chunk and Mexico and Guatemala are part of that same continent oh lets not forget all of south America to .
Im an 06 baby so I’m into cars like hellcats charger or challenger but I was on the highway and one of these bad boys passed me while driving I instantly fell in love with how menacing it looked from the front. I WANT ONE NOW
Don’t get me wrong I have a sweet spot for older cars too like ‘68 charger rt, impala ‘68, barracuda Plymouths and much more.
500 horsepower is good enough tbh . I’d even choose 350 hp. Coming from a 147 hp 2017 Hyundai Elantra se lol🤣
Right my 01 tacoma probably makes 100hp at 300,000 miles, Right now saving up for c5 Corvette
42PURPLEHAZE 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
I like the owner, sounds like a cool guy!
Phuque UA-cam all trans am owners are cool I my self own a 1980 trans am
+Carlos Araujo best TA ever
I live in England. These cars are really rare in England. I would love to have this and show it off at car meet in England. I would love to have a car what no one else would have and this is one of them. What a car
I wish some of the youtubers that do great edits and make great car content would give American classics like this more love. Japanese builds are getting tired.
You killed it with this video! Awesome sound, the shots taken were super cool ! Love everything about it. The owner of that car is funny AF too. Keep it up !
Love the Pontiac muscle. GTOs, G8s, Trans Ams are my dream cars.
Trans Am's my favorite car. Always has and always *Will be.* ☺😎
Bandit and the SnowMan
I love how he didn't go overboard with the power. This is the perfect streetcar.
Agree
I drove one to work one night when my buddy couldnt make it home.. It wasnt supposed to snow until after I got out of work... Drove sideways 3 miles home and had to drive around town to skip the hills. I love that car, no need for pro chargers or anything like that. It will get you to mcdonalds and back before the commercial break is over, I assure you ;)
2002 Pontiac Firehawk 6spd hurst manual
completely stock
love it!
I love this car! He has pretty much every part I ever designed for those cars…. Splitter, diffuser, gauge overlays… probably my favorite Trans Am.
One of the gorgeousness ever built ....every time i see one i can't believe they are from late 90's to early 00's...
I am getting one #audi4life
R8 LMS is the ultimacy. I was a fan of those back in the day. 2003 Audi LeMans Quattro Concept and 07 r8
If you look closely at 11:40 you can hear 50 bald eagles screaming at once.
Adam Cooper I don't hear it. Buddy. 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤗🤗
this is exactly what i was looking for...still keeps its authenticity and without losing its identity
I like the owner of the car, cool dude.
97 cobra, dude me too, he seems like a cool dude to chill with
He looks like a funny guy
The Camaro just looks like an incomplete Firebird. Change my mind
GroinFaceGroin lol ugliest camaro evur
@kudos 0000 Depends on which generation, no? 😂
They are twins they have the same manufacturer, just the Chevy not as mean looking.
Just bought mine 58k miles. Love this car
People used to be so creative and original with these cars. I mean look at the shape of that car! Nothing looks similar to it, the curves, everything looks amazing. These days we just have car brands copying other car brands. Seriously, what happened??
Love the Trans-Am though, I’m thinking of getting the same year model.
I love that body style Trans Am, I had the Fomula 5.7 liter one day I'm going to get another one.
Happy to say in 3 days I'll be a proud owner of a 2000 ws6 in perfect condition
How has it been so far?
Hows it been?
I fell in love in less than 13 minutes😍 Even shopping for some fat tires on this beast is such a challenge, went to every junk yard, tire shop, dealership.... nothing. So gave up & put in an online order for a G-Force set & they're finally here😊 Im so excited!
When an import driver says “yeah its cool but I wouldn’t buy one” yet his face face at 11:47 says “OMG I want one!” 😂😂😂
Had to thumb up for that sound.
I'm a Mustang guy, but I love this T/A.
+kingcrimson234 Same... I want to own one eventually.
+kingcrimson234 Same. This T/A is nasty for sure.
+kingcrimson234 Same here! Gotta have love for all the American muscle!
+kingcrimson234 I hate the Camaro (TA) vs Mustang wars. What matters is we all have a passion for the same thing: V8's, RWD, and being loud as fuck. That is all that should matter.
Unbearable Pain I agree, I've had a Z28, Firebird, and 3 Mustangs. Have a supercharged Mach 1 now. Prefer the Mustangs, that's all.
Not my favorite car and not really a american car fan...but i can appreciate this thing soooo cleannn
Always loved these cars. Back in my racing days there were a few of these running around my city with nitrous. Mostly running 150hp shot. Damn they were fast.
that is definitely plenty of power for the streets ! I really dig everything about that car ! sweet ride brotha
I’ve probably watched this video 6 times now
Looks like a black roaring dragon...the design Is so futuristic and mysterious, perfect for a modern Knight Rider 😎
2002 trans am ws6 is my dream car
Honestly the owner really sounds like he knows his stuff and built this car the right way.
Amazing how beautiful this car still is. Also love those black rims. One clean build
@Sam Jones Shut up beta
"peelin off in my smokey and the bandit trans ammm"- spm
East bound and down!
Free Los
Love that car!!! Nice, clean, fast, reliable-what more do you need?? I like superchargers, hell if I could everything I've ever owned would go straight to Hennessey, but your ws-6 is awesome like it is. Again, very nice ride, bro!!
In high school I had a built LT1 Trans Am, red,6 speed, and my brother had a black LT1 Formula. Us cruising around south St Louis are some of my favorite memories. Early 2000s were such a fun time for car enthusiasts.
I'm from St Louis
Gotta love F-Body's
They look bad ass. All black too
Hell yeah, just picked up a 97 Trans Am WS6 a couple months ago
Glycerin Nice bro. I've been wanting to upgrade from my current '96 RS to a Z28, SS, or if I can find one, a WS6. With an LS in those cars, they can't be beat
Cleto
Duude I owned a '94 Camaro V6 for almost 5 years before I bought my WS6.
Upgrade!!
You'll love it. I personally prefer the Trans Am to the Camaro, so I'd say find a WS6 but def upgrade to an LS1 and sell your RS. I have the LT1 but it's still fast! I'm so happy this car found me.
Glycerin Their underestimated. Especially the 3.8. Tons of torque in that engine. You can push damn near 400+ hp out of them
"Kawaii".
When you like the Japanese culture but need to rock a mullet persona.
My bro has a 02 firehawk. 25000kms. Convertible and all stock
I'm a gt500 guy but love these.
This car is awesome, great video.
I grew up surrounded by Camaros & they'll always be my favorite, but the F-body Trans Am was always a sexy beast compared to the Camaro 😎
This video makes me want one of these. That's the sexiest F-body on the road.
I have a 1997 WS6 and definitely recommend that you get one!
Joshua Miller F Body was 1970-1981
67-02
Captain FALKEN nah, you wrong
I have mine for sale
That power and sound is so addictive. I dont see how you would ever want to roll in a integra.
this dude is that guy that talks constantly and won't leave you alone
Chingonsisimo tu coche bro saludos desde México.
