I'm happy to see in the comments that I'm not the only one having a bit of nostalgia towards SFV
This game had such a great roster, and music too. I know that SF6 is only at the beginning of its life and it will eventually grow to have a big roster too, but SFV will always have a place in my heart.

SFV is a beautiful game, its have been after Arcade Edition. The last characters (Dan, Gill, Luke) have visuals and animations x100000 times better than the base roster from 2016.

I still miss this game some times, it's a shame the netcode was wack lol
Guile’s big problem was not being bad (his normals and walk speed are top tier and his fireball is obviously Sonic Boom) but the fact that basically every single character above him in the tier list beat him specifically by invalidating his fireballs. Luke had as strong a fireball and normals with better damage/stun; the zoners traded favourably into Sonic Booms and characters like Ken/Cody/Juri/Balrog could invalidate fireballs with certain character specific tools.
I am not downplaying Guile because I think his MU spread against basically all the rest of the cast is even or better for him; he’s just a well designed and rounded character whose nerfs caught up to him in the face of characters getting overtuned. For the longest time Guile had 5/5 MUs nearly universally except for like 2 MUs but final season buffed a lot of characters in wonky ways whereas Guile got nothing. So I think high A makes perfect sense for him.

19:54 It wasn't that surprising to me that Laura's buttons got quite good by the end, SF has a pretty solid history since 3S Makoto of giving their fast vortex grapplers really strong normals.

Was expecting a SF6 tier list, my diaappointment is immeasurable.
SFV content never gets old (unlike the game one could say).

@@zonk834 it's a lot of fun, I've been enjoying both the gameplay and single player content.
And the multiple control schemes are so helpful when getting family members to play with me or against each other like we used to with MKX.
I'm currently so invested I've decided to take my time to become a top player and I've gone from bronze to diamond 3, and I don't plan on stopping any time soon.
It's a great game.

I got into fighting games later in the timeline, however SFV in 2019-2020 got me. Not only I played SFV, I've learned combos and routes with 20 characters in the roster and all felt unique and very special! I want to see this translated into SF6, the game needs more characters, balance updates and fast! We cannot wait 5 years for 20 more chars, Capcom do it ASAP!
It makes sense gill would have worse normals than urien, its implied he never really trained, but i do wish his zoning was better at least

Say "i don't think they [tier list] give any useful informations" and procede to make a tier list which give the informations of who are better/stronger characters than who and an idea of how much. Informations who give us valuable informations on how you see the game and its balance state.

They nerfing Ex headbutt, his fireballs, his Aegis, his Ex tackle... fine, I can let those pass.
But they never buffing his VS1 and VT2. That's the thing I can't never forgive crapcom for.
And to this day, I still say: Capcom killed Urien because they wanted to force people into playing Luke.
Also yes, Urien having a 4f better than a 3f cr jab was bad for Gill. (Gill is my 2nd most played character). Nemo made me a fan of both Urien and Gill, but FhAS5AH made me a fan of VT2 Urien.
Only top tier players hate tier list.....and streamers.
And normal players should too, they're only a good guideline for players that are good but not top.
