- A quick run through of the G5's pager tone, that are on the pager when you receive it. The pager can also have custom tones uploaded to it in the MP3 or WAV format.
It has been pointed out that Tone 3 is different in others pagers, Unication is not sure why this is happening.

Anyone notice that how alert tone 7 sounds in the PPS and how it sounds from the pager are completely different? It sounds as if it’s the default long tone alert.
I have a G5 that’s driving me kinda crazy right now. I’m hoping it’s just a setting. Every time i enter a menu (settings, playback, etc) and something is broadcast over a TG, it immediately kicks me out of the menu to display the TGID. If I’m in a menu or playing back a message, I don’t want radio traffic to override my current actions. Is this a setting I can change? Any help is appreciated.
Can the alert tones be changed in the pager itself, or does it have to be connected to software? Mine does this obnoxiously loud, high pitched beeping and vibration thing that makes me want to throw it out a window! 😬

Anyone run with a volunteer company that uses this pager? I am curious if a tone will trip the pager on 800mhz. We have both UHF & VHF and are looking to go all UHF now but don't know if this will work for us.

Closest to ol’ reliable. Don’t know what my tone is, slept through it. Learned to only wake up for the Minitor beep.
how did you guys get it to say what it says on the screen
If you are referring to the "Test 5" and so on, when you name your Tones it will display on the screen when paged.

my qyestion is who do u get to rogorme the channels for u im vol emt wanting to go school and get job being emt would 911 do it for it they know ur emt or vol fire fighter or even if ur city payed
0:04 is my ems page tone and 0:26 is my fire page tone
Spencer take your pager to an authorized pager dealer and Joshua its in the pager programming software if the pager is dual band or not
