I never seen nor heard anyone use a whammy like in the intro, that was amazing!

you can also switch between polyphonic and classic pitch shifting by holding the on/off button and adjusting the range switch, very cool
Excellent track in the beginning! This thing is unreal and seems to work so well with everything needed on a single pedal layout. Would definitely get this over using a regular “whammy” with expression pedal.

I heard a band use one with an Acoustic and additional FX. Had no idea what was on that guys pedal board but turned out to be one of these.
I use the ricochet with an overdrive and some reverb on my bass, nice sound, almost as a trumpet, a copy of Janek Gwizdalas baby elephant. The small delay is just fun, change the way I play.
I’ve been doing “royal blood” experimentation with a POG and bass guitar. This would do those intermediate lead sounds on the other signal path. Very nice. Me wanty.

I really wish Digitech would consider making plugins. Nobody does what they do with pitch processing! Super handy tools for the studio
The EHX Pitchfork does this too. Tracking is not always super-smooth, but it does all of this and allows for an expression pedal.
Better tracking plus a space saver for the board is what won me over on this vs the pitchfork

I've always had a love hate flotation with this pedal. I see how I will definitely use it but I think the full sized Whammy will serve me better.. but I'm not exactly thrilled with the idea of having that monster on my board. Aaaargh..

I wanted to downsize my guitar collection since I essentially had a guitar for each tuning. I got a Digitech Drop, I like it a lot! Only problem is that when playing quietly, I hear both my normal tuned guitar ringing and the drop tuned sound from my app together, which sounds pretty bad.
Do I need to check my board if mine is still there? ;) Love the Riccochet!

You can do some cool things with it. I have the drop pedal by Digitech. I use that just for usually dropping a half or full step tuning even though you can go further, its start sounding how can I say this. Very digital and not right. Especially on clean tone melodies. But for a guitar in Standard E and dropping down a 1/2 or whole with distortion, its killer!~ I wonder, does this do the same?

I’ve got the big V4 whammy but that one will fit better on a normal sized board and it’s got ballistics so it must be made to play House Full of Bullets by some guitar teacher guy of VAI👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

I got a Digitech Ricochet and mainly want to use it for quickly changing tuning from D Standard to E Standard.
The problem is, when the effect is active, the signal is significantly stronger, so i end up getting too much distortion when engaged.
Is there any way to level this out?

The Ricochet would be one of my most favorite pedals of all time, if it wasn't missing one absolutely crucial feature-a one semitone setting. For my needs, the two settings I want most are a minor 2nd bend and a major 2nd bend. Without that minor 2nd, the pedal is only 50% useful for me, so it's going to come off my board.
It's a shame that with the product development team disbanded, there will never be an update for the Ricochet. It would have been so simple to add a one semitone bend-it's just software.
Everything else about the pedal is perfect.
