      The fact that Lee can do that Tom Morello shit so convincingly should prove how over rated Morello actually is.
      I hate that people give The Edge shit for playing with FX when it always complements the song and Morello's stupid solos always sound completely out of place and self indulgent. In My Opinion.

    Digitech's detuner algorithm is the best. I got one of their old rack processors and the detune sounds amazing and works with all kinds of instruments. Super low bass on bass pedals or simulate them on a bass git, detune for single synth oscillators... this being in a small pedal sounds interesting, indeed!

    I had a pitchfork for 3 years and it "popped" recently. Taking a swing on a Ricochet now. Both have their own unique sound.

    The difference between classic and chord mode is that classic mode replicates the old school whammy pedal which would glitch out a bit, especially with chords. Chord mode however was meant to be much better at tracking and as a result works with chords.
    Thanks for the video :)

    Glad Rabia got to doing the rage solo. I think it's clear how that solo uses the expression pedal to get the timing of the bends just right. It's difficult and it takes up more space on a board but I think the original is the way to go if you want to play that solo. This pedal seems like a very good value though and can certainly be a great addition to someone's rig.

    This is very similar to the EHX pitch fork. The pitch fork has more options though. Optional expressionpedal, you can blend upper and lower octave and make strange in between harmonies. It also has a blend button. A better option if you ask me

  • @zach9680
    @zach9680 8 років тому +11

    You could play in like drop A and then play a solo by shifting up that would be cool, you could also play like 14-80 gauge string and still bend. Very inspiring.

    the classic mode allows for the glitchy sound when you play chords, listen to radiohead subterranean homesick alien for example. chord mode removes the glichy sound and make it track better.

    This is great! I have a Morpheus Droptune that performs a similar function, but the momentary effect is immediate and the pitch can only be lowered. It's absolutely grand for playing stuff like QOTSA's "No One Knows" (C Standard) without having to lug a specially-tuned axe around.
    I may even trade it in for this Ricochet if the price is right, seeing as how it has a smaller footprint...
    Sweet demo, gentlemen - keep up the good work!
